    Tortellini soup was very good.

THE place for all the locals. Everyone is smiling and knows everyone else. Down home. Americana. Service is extremely friendly. Lovely. Sweet. Ask for Izzy. She is a doll. Autumn is also lovely. Very helpful. Only 13 minutes from the casino. In Cumberland MD. HUGE bar. Extends forever. Side salad is huge. And garlic bread. WHAT?? Small order spaghetti bolognese. Hint: share an entree!!! Check in with Yelp and get a free dessert. Visit Oscars!!

Great locally owned restaurant! Big portions and everything tasted great! I didn't get a pic of my husband's Philly cheesesteak but he got the small and it was still huge! The menu is good and has a lot of variety so it's hard to choose! As a childhood cancer mom we were so excited to see they support childhood cancer awareness!!

I love Oscar's food. I get something different every time and I love it all. They make a mac n cheese flatbread that is to die for. The ranch is great. Service is great and super quick. Restaurant is super clean and it's a great atmosphere. They have outdoor and indoor dining

Hot Fudge Cheesecake was just as good as it looks!

Great lunch with my daughter & husband after a Labor & Delivery Check at the hospital! I had a small meatball sub, daughter had a small hamburger sub & husband had a sweet hot chicken sandwich! All were delicious! Ended with a free dessert for checking in on yelp (had hot fudge cheesecake, yummmm). Waitress was friendly & attentive! Kept drinks full!

Oscar's is a popular restaurant in the D'atri's family. They are now serving outside as well as inside guests due to COVID. Some dishes are a bit pricey but never overly priced. You get good food and a lot of it. All meals are very good, especially their crab cakes.

This time I was passing by at dinner time so checked it out. It was Trivia Night so I opted for outside at one of the small 3 patio tables. The street has an outdoor dining vibe with two other restaurants also with outdoor seating. You put in your order at the bar (at least this Wednesday night) with a welcoming bartender on easy check list for sushi and ramen. I was stopping on the late side and those finishing their meals were clearly enjoying themselves. Many knew each other across tables as lots of stopping by for chats among friends. The pork belly in the ramen was definitely my jam as it had a crunchy top with easy to come apart pieces. Definitely the highlight. Not nearly as big a fan of the Asian greens which fell into almost a paste, the mushrooms not looking like they were fresh (to be fair there is a shiitake option I missed), and the smoked eggplant a little too chewy. And I took a flyer on the "special broth" without asking what it was so that is on me. But the really dark perhaps cinnamon infused (don't hold me to it) version was not something for me. The noodles were ample but not plentiful and were legit. So I think I'd opt for Nori instead of Asian greens next time and go with more traditional toppings. But definitely endorse the pork belly. I tried a smoked eggplant sushi role as something new. Just fine, I've tried it but I'll try another combo they have next time. And I know the economics are tough these days and specialty roles are routinely low teens in cost, but I'd suggest a two tier pricing scheme rather than $13.00 for one with a single ingredient and just 6 rather than normally 8 for specialty rolls. Glad I stopped and I will again to try some of the other fare. Just may be a little more traditional in my choices next time.

I had the ramen. The broth tastes canned and not homemade and the noodles had been prepared in…read moreadvance.

A guy I assumed was the owner or manager was sitting at the bar watching TV and doing a crossword puzzle. A few minutes later we ordered a burger (well done) and a blackened salmon wrap. And then we waited. And waited. At 3:42pm I asked about the food, noting how long we were waiting. The waitress said it was coming right up (our waitress was kind and understanding). However, the owner grumbled at me that "the food is cooked to order." Ok. Great. I told the owner we only ordered a burger and a wrap and that doesn't take almost 40 minutes cooked to order, especially considering the place was empty. The owner got up and started talking back aggressively and in an irritated tone about how we didn't wait that long. I repeated that it doesn't take that long to cook a burger. I asked if he treated all his customers like this. If the owner is reading this: Here's a tip. Get off your behind and manage the restaurant. Don't blame the customer when the cook takes forever. Instead say, "I'm sorry it took so long we will get right on that" and then pop back in the kitchen to see what is happening. I'm so sorry that customers interrupted your important crossword puzzle. My "well done" burger was burned. I wanted it cooked through not a piece of charcoal. Not good. And my wife's salmon wrap did not have a lot of salmon. For what we got, it was very expensive. The waitress was excellent, but the service from the cook and management was abysmal. We will not be going back there again, which is too bad because as locals have enjoyed going to City Lights during the summer to sit on the patio for dinner.
