Nice restaurant, clean and tidy. We ordered the fried provolone. It was okay, not my favorite and wouldn't order again. The flavor of the cheese was just too intense for us. He had the best recommendations for drinks and food items! For food, we got the kale salad and spicy rigatoni. It looked like they arranged a preselected menu, which was great because we got to sample a variety of dishes--it made the night feel like a little culinary adventure. We started with the Kale Salad, which I normally wouldn't touch, but it was surprisingly delicious. The roasted Cauliflower was another hit, and that's saying a lot coming from someone who doesn't typically enjoy cauliflower. Then came the Margherita Pizza--it had a thin crust and was really flavorful, though if you're a fan of thicker pizza, just keep that in mind. For the entrees, they brought out the Tonnarelli, Tagliatelle, and Chicken Parm. The Tagliatelle and Chicken Parm were my personal favorites--comforting, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Met my friends here for dinner for a girls' night out. Reservations were made a month in advance and it was a lively Saturday night when we all met there. There is a decent size parking lot out back, but it was packed full. They were accodomating after we requested a switch to a table with shade though! It's a solid tasty appetizer (4/5) Pepe-roni Pizza- I liked how fresh it was out of the oven, as well as the drizzle of garlic-y sauce plus black pepper gives it a unique taste. Pepperoni's could've been slightly more and better evenly distributed though. (4/5) Spicy Rigatoni- Very flavorful vodka sauce and topped with basil and sprinkled with cheese. The spicy kick isn't that strong, but the flavor is there, and I like the al dente texture as well (4/5) Mandilli- A softer pasta that is submerged in a nutty pesto and almond flavor. It's a good light summer dish, I think something crunchy like actual nuts or almonds would have provided more contrast in texture to make this dish more enjoyable. The sauce was flavorful though, and the cheese was so soft in the best way possible. The pasta was great, but a slight overpriced in my opinion. Happy Hour drinks were super worth it - 2 for $25. Each drink is normally priced at close to $20. I got the Lusty Martini, and it was delicious. It had the right amount of alcohol and sweetness along with a well-balanced flavor profile. The first time it was thin and a bit soggy; the second time, even flimsier. I had to fold it in half just to keep it together. The toppings and cheese were solid, but the crust didn't hold up. My spicy rigatoni was nicely Al dente but needed some assistance in the spicy department with additional Calabrian chili oil. Same for my friend's funghi pizza. The stracciatella + bread starter was solid. Enjoy the video of the table side tiramisu prep- the espresso sauce made that dessert. But I could have used less of the ricotta whipped cream. We went for Sunday brunch. Most of our food was perfect, server was terrific. However, my cacio e pepe pasta was not good and I regret not sending it back because it was not up to the ospi standards I am used to being served. I don't know if the sauce broke or it sat too long, but the pasta was all clumped together with the cheese and the cheese was not fully incorporated or not fully melted. I could pick up all of the pasta at once. I tried to use the sauce to break it up but it didn't work. I 109% should have sent it back, but honestly it shouldn't have been served. I hate to give a 3 star review but that one dish took away from the delicious biscuit and the crispy provolone that preceded it.
