Excellent food and service on our visit! We made a reservation the same day, and they only had 2 time slots available: either 6:15 or 8:15. We chose the earlier time and when we got to the restaurant they were packed. We sat outside and loved the vibe of the place. Our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Hubs ordered Ceasar salad and a pizza. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli. Our server offered to split the salad for us, which was a nice touch! The salad was definitely large enough for two people to share. It was very good. I don't eat pork, but this salad had pancetta on it. I just picked it off and ate the salad anyway. Hubs loved it as-is with the pancetta. They brought the anchovies on the side so you could take as little or as much as you wanted. The salad was perfectly dressed and tasty. He really enjoyed his pizza, and it did look phenomenal. My lobster ravioli was very rich and full of flavor. It had plenty of lobster as well. Portion size was plenty. Went on a date night in Naples, and couldn't be happier with our selection of Tulia as our destination for dinner. We started with the special for the night for an appetizer. The mix of the sweet apples with the ricotta cheese, bread and walnuts was excellent. The Sicilian meatballs were also amazing, but the best choice of the night was the Ravioli, which came with lobster, and tomatoes in an amazing butter sauce. Awesome experience at Tulia. The staff is friendly and the food is fresh! They make all of their pasta in house. I have been here twice and both times have had five star experiences. I also like how they offer specials I had the Aji tuna appetizer special, as well as the prosciutto and burrata. Both were very delicious and fresh! I had a special for my entree which was pasta and lump blue crab meat, it was delicious. my husband had the Bolognese and said it was delicious. Our previous visit, He had the cacio e pepe and said that was awesome as well. The desserts looked really good and I wish I had room to order one. Amazing experience Sunday night at Tulia! We sat in the back in front of the kitchen which was fine by me- our kids were tired and can be loud and we were just happy to be seated right away & last minute without reservation on 5th. I had the FraDiavolo- and it was hands down the best I've had in all of my life and it's my favorite dish. I will be dreaming about it until I can return. The eggplant caponata with the bread is incredibly deep and complex and such a delight. It's the perfect example of simple ingredients with the correct technique becoming something amazing. The Caesar was flavorful and delicious- and anchovies are a must for us, so we were happy the restaurant offered them. We also had the kids spaghetti and meatball which was great and a couple of pizzas which were also amazing! Our server was a pretty young brunette and I didn't catch her name, but she was incredibly sweet and attentive and was as ideal a server can get- sneaking away used dishes or napkins here and there or refilling our waters immediately- almost unnoticed. She was knowledgeable and always keeping an eye out to make sure we had anything we needed. She had great timing and wasn't laggy about coming around and dropping the check- it was perfectly executed. Hands down a wonderful meal made so much better by our server- and I'll be returning every time I'm in Naples and hoping to have her! read more

What a great meal... my Wife and I are from Alabama, and came to Naples for a family Christmas reunion. We've been to Naples many, many times, but have never eaten at Ostetia Tulia. On a whim, we drove from North Naples down to 5th to grab a bite for lunch, and after parking on the street we had a waiter from OT wave us over to chat with us about our pup. Well, we were immediately taken with the cool laid back Tuscan vibe and saw patio dining, so we decided to give them a try. We were seated immediately, which was nice, and our waiter was super knowledgeable and cool to chat with about so much more than just the menu; after asking us our background, he recommended we order the meatballs for an appetizer (which were fantastic... the bind was perfect, and the red sauce was delicate and delicious). We decided upon the Wagyu Steak sandwich, and Italian Disco Club, which couldn't have been better. Both sandwiches were on perfectly crafted artisan breads with the BEST crust, and our waiter took the initiative to half the sandwiches on separate plates (as he knew we were splitting meals). The steak was OMG.. yum with I think what was a mild horseradish sauce and micro greens, and the Club was served hot and gooey with cheese that complimented it so uniquely. Best lunch and atmosphere ever. Better than our anniversary trip to any Vegas spot we've been to... we are definitely coming back. read more

Food and service both were terrible. Today, being Valentine's Day thought we would try this place based on the positive reviews. Well it was the worst dining experience I've had in years. The food might as well be frozen because it came out lukewarm and was not fresh. We ordered the Cappelletti, talk about bland and lacking in any creativity. The waiter couldn't care less about giving us any attention even to refill our water pitcher as automatically adding 20% gratuity. I normally would be fine with this but he did not deserve not even 10%. We will never dine here again and I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

The food was pretty standard, the meatballs left a bit to be desired, wasn't a huge fan of the pine nuts, but the Jabroni pizza was fabulous! My fiancé enjoyed his Veal Parmigiana, it was a bit of an unorthodox presentation, and he enjoyed that it wasn't drowning in noodles. Our party of 4 split beet salad and Caesar salad. Delicious! Then we enjoyed grouper, linguine with seafood, pork and another pasta. We brought a bottle of red and paid a cork fee. Al fresco dining in Naples! Quite enjoyable outside, and the indoor dining looked equally inviting. You can go casual or dressy to this homey spot that feels like it's right out of Italy. Unfortunately I did not snap pics of the food, but the home are pastas were delicious and our waiter was fabulous! Heard this was the best Italian restaurant in Naples. I went while in town for work and sat at a high top near the bar. They have a mix of inside and outside seating. They served bread with a delicious eggplant spread. Started with the tuna tartare. It was different than other versions of this dish but the taste was great. Very fresh and flavorful but would've been nice to have some sort of chip or bread to eat it with. I also ordered a dirty martini which was fine, not great. Too strong. All pastas are made in house. The best part about this restaurant is that they offer half/half of pasta dishes, which was great because it was hard to decide on just one. I got the Cappaletti and the tortelloni. Cappaletti was the better of the two, but tortelloni was still delicious. Reservation is necessary during the busy season (January-April). read more

Last night we dined outside with friends, on their list of specials was a squash salad which I and my friend ordered. The dish had some large pieces of charred rind on it that were very hard and inedible. I added chicken to it and it was dry and over cooked. A young woman came around to take our plates and I tried to tell her about it but she didn't speak much English. Our server barely came around so I never had the opportunity to mention it to her. They were charred and so hard that you couldn't eat them. I also ordered chicken on it which was very dry. We've been coming here for over 5 years now when we visit our family in Naples. There are so many restaurants to choose from on 5th Ave but this restaurant blows all of them out of the water for quality Italian. The quality of food is second to none and the waitstaff is incredible. Gio was our server this time and, coming from a restaurant background, it's hard to find people who carry a personality and deliver on premier service. I don't know how they find such great talent. We ordered a lot but of note is the tagliatelle, beet salad, and tortelloni, Jabroni pizza, key lime pie, olive oil cake and tiramisu. The food is AMAZING. I just returned from Rome, which is where cacio e pepe was invented. I ate a half dozen of these in Rome at fantastic restaurants recommended by locals and the Michelin Guide. How does Osteria Tulia compare? Just as good -- in fact, better than the vast majority. Naples is lucky to have such a gem of a restaurant. Finish your meal with a tiramisu and it's tough to imagine a better 1-2 punch. I come to Naples about once per year, and Tulia's is a must visit every time. read more

The menu offers a great variety of well executed gourmet food with options for vegetarians and limited vegan food. We ordered a variety of their specialty cocktails and they were truly impressive and unique. Chris ordered the BT bucket of fried chicken served with grilled corn, French fries and a cheese scone. He said that it was excellent. The portion was large and would be sufficient for two people to share. I ordered the ceviche and it was one of the best I've ever had.
