I've been indulging in this place via delivery for the past few months and was thrilled to actually visit this facility for lunch on Friday 05.08.2026. The atmosphere was casual, authentic, and full of artistic flavour. As much as I was tempted to have a sopa (aka soup for those of you who don't know) i had to stick with my mainstay of pulpo (octopus), this time having it grilled (pulpo ala plancha) preceded by an aguachiles (think ceviche but slightly spicy) unfamiliar to me, with the base consisting of lime juice and Árbol chiles. I was stupefied with both of these dishes! As an ardent fan of tasty tasty treats, and the food being superior at the facility rather than delivery, this'll be one of my favourite spots for mariscos (seafood but Latino and thus even better). I'm excited to return and try new dishes, including but not limited to what was suggested, their La Chingada Asada for when I seek beef dishes. Authentic Mexican food?! Yes please!!! My boyfriend wanted fajitas and found this place and told us we had to go and I'm glad we did cause the food is delicious!!! The waitress we got didn't speak much English - and it seems like that was the case for lots of the waitresses here - they had to find us an English speaking one and even then, it was a lot of looking at each other to decipher what the other is saying LOL. But that comes with the experience and the authenticity right?! We were given crispy chips - they were thicker than normal but crispy and really good. The salsa was fantastic and so were the seasoned tomatoes/onions they gave you. They also give you a small cup of some kind of fish soup, which was also good but I couldn't figure out if it was a soup or something to dip my chips in. Works well either way!!! We had the mixed fajitas - the meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The beef was tender and the chicken was moist. I think my least favorite was the shrimp in this platter. But they give you rice, beans, guacamole.. everything you would want with your fajitas and a choice of corn/flour tortilla. Loved every last bit of this dish! I also got the aguachile with the red sauce.. OMG! So so so spicy! It's basically like a ceviche but it was just filet raw shrimp "cooked" in lime and seasoned with chiles!!! Very good and the cucumbers offset the heat - but my mouth was on fire! If you like ceviche/raw shrimp and spicy stuff - try this dish!!! The prices are so affordable and they serve other seafoods/oysters as well. They have beer, michelatas and margaritas!!! The tres leches cheesecake is pretty rich and thick - but if you like cheesecake, it's good. I thought it was a bit too dense and really wanted a normal fluffy tres leches cake! Overall, I can't imagine how they would make the food any better cause it was so good and reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean and looks like a seafood bar with beach decor! Today I decided to check out this Mexican seafood place. I ordered the the mixed grill plate. Big mistake. It was far from good pretty bland. We had the shrimp cocktail that was ok but far from the best shrimp were kind of tasteless. The aguachillies were not bad but lacking taste overall. My kid ordered the fried shrimp and that was good. However no cocktail sauce or tartar sauce is available. Also, if you don't speak Spanish you'll have a problem with communication. However, the thing to get at this restaurant is the seafood soup. They serve the broth when you are seated and this is the indicator for what they do well. SO overall. Get the soup or a fried item. Thumbs down hard on everything else. They must use farm raised shrimp they are ultra white and tasteless compared to wild. read more

El caldo de marisco estaba delicioso y nos gustó a mi y mis padres. Nos encantó el consomé que dan como aperitivo también. Hasta a mi marido que es un güerro y no le gustan los caldos le gustó. Mi marido ordenó un guachinango frito y también estaba delicioso. Ordene una tostada de pulpo por que es uno de mis favoritos mariscos y no quede decepcionado. Nos gustó a todos la comida por que no tenía un fuerte sabor a limon en los marisco que aveces uno encuentra en otros restaurantes. La única queja fue que la música estaba muy fuerte pero le pedimos a la mesera que le bajaran y lo hicieron (aunque me hubiera gustado que le bajaran un poco más por que teníamos a bebe con nosotros). I love how I can get not overly priced oysters in the middle of the city, the restaurant is clean with very loud music but it makes the place lively, you tell them how you want your food to be cooked which is great and drinks are not over priced. The food was delicious. I had a shrimp cocktail and is was great. They serve a complimentary serving of the soup which was very good as well very savory and not too spicy. I went on a Sunday so it was pretty busy but we were able to sit and order pretty quickly. My only complaint is how loud it's in there. This place is amazing! The staff is very attentive especially the bartender who I believe is named Patty...I could be wrong but if that is her name, Patty is so kind and a great bartender. We ordered micheladas with oysters and shrimp in them and OMG they're the best! They also serve you chips and salsa which are delicious as well as two small cups with a fish soup which is also great! (We asked for two more haha) then we ordered the shrimp cocktail and fried tilapia pieces which were both so good. Really disappointed with the ambience, food and management criteria and philosophy. Outside Vendors come and go as they please, for sure this place is not family friendly, especially with babies, the mariachi plays very loud, the restaurant is very small and the sound is not confortable for the place, this makes it very uncomfortable to enjoy the food, conversation and gathering with your love ones, the staff is cold and some very rude. When you are paying to have a family meal the last thing that you want is vendors bugging and music instruments destroying your hearing. My husband and I live in California, we came here with our daughter, her husband, his uncle and our two grandkids thinking it was a family oriented and well managed restaurant... Oh man I love the shrimp ceviche and the michelada. Not overly priced, and the facility is clean. The oysters were good. The rice on the side wasn't my favorite, but I can live without it because I was full without it anyway. The tacos were tasty and the sauce that came with that and the empanada were so good. Worst fish tacos of my life. They top them with extremely sweet cole slaw, which also makes them watery. The tortillas were hard and dry. I've NEVER had such a bad taco. The waitress had a coughing fit mid-order and then another waitress came and we had to start over, which was not a problem except that she didn't seem to know the menu. There were several musicians wandering around, playing extremely loud music for money. It was hard to have a conversation and the food was AWFUL.
