The food here has always been great- I've tried most of the burritos and the flautas and with Mexican food, I'm pretty critical (it's my favorite). The salsa Mexicana and tomatillo salsa are delicious and spicy and the food tastes like it was prepared with attention to detail and quality. Every time I've come, service has been excellent- they are always very knowledgeable of the menu and food prep, which really helps if you are mindful of your diet. I came in today, having been gluten free for a month now, and when I asked the server about food prep, etc, he took his time and explained all the menu items and what is the "cleanest" food they offer, down to which plate has the least salt (fish plate). He also gave some salsa recommendations so I could skip the dressing! I was really satisfied with this experience and the chicken salad I decided on! I've been here quite a few times. This place is amazing for their chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Their chips and salsa is good too. On Sundays, they had a brunch buffet which was fantastic. You can eat all the chicken enchiladas you like, and interestingly enough, I favor the one with the red sauce instead of the green, which wasn't the case when I order the individual entree. Growing up this was my fav Mexican place on Amar In West Covina/Valinda. I was excited to learn that there was one in Glendora however although the food is great the service sucks. Every time I've come in the server is rude, inefficient. And I find myself having to get up and get things myself if I want it. This morning while here, I ordered a breakfast item with over medium eggs, the eggs are rock hard. When I told her she said "oh ya" lol how unprofessional. I have been watching and waiting for Osuna's to open. Always ready for a new Mexican place. I asked the man taking the order and he says they opened last week. He was very cheerful and helpful when I had a few questions. He talked up the Baja fish tacos so one of those (1.99) and I always measure a place by their chile verde. He pointed out two burritos on the menu that he said are favorites at the other sites. The (World Famous) Guacamole, sour cream or wet Hollenbeck burrito (6.99), is chile verde, rice, beans and cheese on top, one of those. The Gold standard for Any fish taco for me is Senor Baja. This taco was very good, and only a little behind the Senor Baja. The batter wasn't as thick on the fish, which is normally a good thing, but I still love the thick crunchy batter at Senor Baja. This had a thinner crisp batter, but the slight downside to this is the sauce makes the batter soggy so eat this fast and first for best affect. The Hollenbeck filled the square to-go box. It was a big square burro! The chile verde was a little hotter than most, like I like. Generous amounts of pork chunks inside and a few outside, because the burro was covered with a little cheese and a lot of chile verde. There was also a nice amount of rice and beans inside. Overall this is a great new addition to the taco fest that is So. Cal. Other locations in Walnut, Ca and Rancho Cucamonga. read more

Don't let the Fastfood layout and Paperplates fool you! My family & I were first introduced to Osuna's several years ago at the original Walnut, Ca location. When we saw that they were opening in Glendora we were looking forward to re-living the memorable experience we had. First impressions of this location were that based on sq footage alone, it is much cozierer than the Walnut location and laid out much like a fast food chain restaurant like El Pollo Loco, Chipotle, Baja Fresh, or Qdoba. As I stood outside looking at the menu posted on the window, one of the kind staff greeted me and offered me a menu to encourage me to come in as I waited for the rest of the family. Once we were in, we found the dining area to be clean and well decorated with an ecelectic set of photos reminiscent of a drive south to the border. We seated ourselves at a table and contemplated over what our pallettes would soon be subjected to under the spicy rythmic beat of Latin instrumental music. We then waited a brief moment for someone to come by to take our order, only to find that we were supposed to order at the counter prior to being seated? Apparently I didn't see the painted sign marked "ORDER HERE" and mistakenly assumed we would be waited upon similarly as if we were in Walnut? Oops my bad? I ordered a Dual Enchilada Meal with a shredded beef and a chicken enchilada smothered in green chile sauce with a Crispy Chicken Taco on the side. My wife ordered the Fish burrito, Daughter had the Wet Shrimp Burrito and our son had the Dual Cheese Enchilada meal. The Fresh chips & 5 different Salsa choices are a must have and worth every penny of the extra $75 cents! Shortly after we made our first basket of chips disappear, our food surprisingly began to arrive at the table not on ceramic plates but on paper plates instead? In spite of the surprise in dinnerware and the mostly self serve casual style of dining , all of the flavors and textures took us back to our Walnut location experience and our inhibitions and expectations had quickly dissappeared with the first bites of the Rice & Beans! In my opinion the quality and taste of the food was far superior to any of the wannabe made to order fresh-mex chains popping up all around like the ones I mentioned. Osunas offers fresh fine dining quality fare in an express manner. The only negative that I could even find was that there were no alcoholic drinks like beer or margaritas (even though I don't drink) or even dessert on the menu, which really would have complemented the excellent food we enjoyed! read more

I made a quick stop at Osuna's Mexican Grill before heading home from the cemetery because I was sooo hungry. I'm glad I was not disappointed. I ordered the shedded beef taco & enchilada combo. Funny thing is that I notice they're trying to nod at East LA with their Hollenbeck burrito, named after the famous monstrosity from El Tepeyac.
