The first (and only) time Danny's Maids came to clean my house in August 2015, they did a great job. I have no complaints with their cleaning. I paid $160 plus a $15 tip. I know it's not much, but we did tip. HOWEVER, after the first cleaning, I made a follow up appointment. Now, Raul and I went back and forth about the scheduling of the cleaning due to both of our availability, but we finally agreed on Monday, Sept. 28th. THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP!! The next day, I texted Raul to let him know that no one showed up. He responded (misspellings and poor grammar included): "Sorry, it was misunderstanding , I thought you were supposed to call me to confirmed if they finished with the construction . I can try to get someone to come today" I kindly responded to this "misunderstanding" with a screen shot of our text exchange that CLEARLY confirmed our appointment for Sept. 28th at 4:30 p.m. Raul responded: "Yes , my apologies and please I will make sure we get there at time ,and please let me know,I will definitely give you an extra discount" Oct. 5th: I texted Raul indicating I would like to schedule an appointment for Oct. 9th at 11:30 a.m. for 3 hours of cleaning. Raul responded: "...Absolutely I will make sure to get the cleaning crew on time at 11:30 am , this Friday October 9th this is the confirmation # 100915Lsla..." So I asked Raul the price with the discount he promised since they missed our last appointment. Raul: "Is going to be $ 60 per hour normally we charge $75 , same all cleaning products included also I'm checking here , that instead of 11:30 a.m. can we do 12:30 pm ? Please, the crew is coming from Calabasas that will take a little bit longer to get to your house. I responded, "Yes, 12:30 is fine. Thanks!" Oct. 9th (today): I received a call from Raul at 9:15 a.m. confirming our appointment for 12:30 today, but he wanted to know if the crew was here at noon, would I allow them to start. I told him no problem. Oct. 9th (today) I called Raul at 12:35 p.m. ***Mind you, he called just a few hours ago asking if the crew could start 30 minutes earlier. Me: Raul, the crew isn't here. Raul: Oh, well it's only 6 minutes late. Me: Are you KIDDING ME?!?! First, you don't show up for our last appointment, THEN you call me this morning asking if you could come at Noon instead of 12:30 (which I agreed to) and LASTLY, when I call at 12:35 p.m., you state they're only 6 minutes late? HOW DARE YOU!!!! So he asks if he could call me back in 2 minutes, he was going to call the crew and give me an E.T.A. He calls back and explains something about the crew being in traffic. NOT MY PROBLEM!!!!!! I would have been MUCH MORE UNDERSTANDING, if they didn't FAIL TO SHOW UP for our last appointment. Customer service is KEY in running a service based business such as house cleaning. I don't have to BEG someone to take my money; I will continue my quest for a quality, trustworthy, cleaning service that actually SHOWS UP and is PUNCTUAL!! read more

A neighbor recommended them to me and I'm so glad she did: they show up on time, bring all the supplies they need with them, and our whole place looks like new after! We've had them come out multiple times, and every time it's such a treat to come home to such a clean apartment. My house was in escrow with an inspector coming within 7 days, and I had an attic, a full garage, and a basement to clean, things to haul away, etc. Danny, his brother Cesar and his mother Juana were absolutely amazing. They were fun to work with, super patient and helpful, and found solutions to whatever mess and problems we encountered. They are worth every penny and then some -- they also did the windows for me in a two story house -- and when they were done the windows looked so clean it was if no windows were there at all. They try to upsell you when they come to your house. They promise you 3 people and only 2 people show up. They try to charge you more, thinking you are desperate and will agree to their prices. Finally we have other friends who used them one time, when they came back the second time they demanded higher prices for the same work. We don't have time to deal with their nonsense. read more
