TLDR: The food was yummy but the service was surprisingly unprofessional! First, our waitress was not wearing a mask, and asked our party to take off our masks so she could hear us better when ordering. (She was wearing her vaccine card in place of her mask, which was a first for me). Even though we we're all vaccinated, that made us uncomfortable! Second, their breakfast burrito is listed on the menu as served with several different sides. The waitress insisted it didn't and I got my burrito without sides (despite the menu very clearly saying it should come with sides). Third, a server picked up a plate before we were finished with the few pieces of food left on it and left so quick we couldn't even ask them to leave it on the table! A large table of 15 had just seated and the wait staff got our order in quickly before getting caught behind the big table party. Sharp, courteous, and attentive wait staff, hooked me up when I asked for a large drink (OJ) that wasn't on their menu Food; I had the "After you" omelette, the others the classic eggs Benedict, and a stuffed French toast. We saw this new breakfast and lunch cafe open up in our neighborhood so we had to try it. First off, let me start by saying that the food is your typical American Diner style so if you're expecting better tasting food, then maybe look somewhere else. We loved the food here & would definitely come back again. My hubby had a traditional Waffle and side eggs. I had the Spicy Chicken Crepe. They were both delicious! Portions are generous. Service was fast. The staff are friendly & welcoming. Prices are reasonable & cheap compared to other breakfast places in Temecula. Decor is modern. We loved our huge comfy seats at the back of the restaurant. The waiter pointed out that our table has a wall socket if we wanted bring laptop or charging phones which was great to know. Thanks to Yelp we were able to find this little breakfast spot. Breakfast is served until 3pm so keep that in mind. We arrived at 11am on 02/15/21 and were greeted by the nice gentleman up front, I think he was the owner. He sat us down at a nearby table, not many patrons in the restaurant which was good for us. We didn't want too much of a commotion going on. A few other people were there eating and ordering take out. We ordered the spicy carnitas omelette and strawberry velvet pancakes. OMG both were soooooo amazing. Along with a fresh glass of orange juice, it was perfect. The house fries were crispy and delicious. The omelette was juicy, in a good way, and the pancakes were sweet and full of amazing flavor! A little on the pricey side but you can't complain when it comes to amazing food quality. My boyfriend and his father went here for brunch and brought food home for me. They got a chef's salad and benedict florentine, both raved about how delicious their food was. The English muffins on my boyfriend's benedict was, according to him, some of the best bread he's had. They brought me home some french toast, which I loved. Let me start by saying that the food is absolutely tasty. They have a lot of variety in their menu and my meal was definitely flavorful. With that being said, if good cooking was all it took to run a restaurant then most of our grandmothers and mothers would all have their own restaurants. However, that's not the case. For starters, they have a sign in sheet. Unless you've been here before, it would be hard to know because there's no notification telling you to do so. There's a visible sign that says to wait to be seated, so I waited behind the groups that were already in front of me before realizing this. I only became aware after I saw a lady walk right past me and signed in. We waited for about 30 minutes. However, the lady that signed in just before me put herself down for a party of 7 and when her time came, there were only 2 people in her party. Despite others waiting, we had to wait for an additional 10 minutes while this party slowly showed up. Once seated, it took about another 10 minutes to get acknowledged and have our drink order taken, drinks that no one came to refill during our entire meal, unless it was coffee. It seems that employees are only responsible for 1 specific task as opposed to multi-tasking. For example, one person is in charge of the list, another is only in charge of refilling coffee, 1 person is in charge of taking drink orders, and 1 person is in charge of taking food orders. It's obvious that they are short staffed, but you would think responsibilities would be spread out to mitigate this. Our food came out in stages. We ordered an omelette, an order of crepes with a combo, an order of French toast, and a waffle. First, we received the waffle and the French toast. A little less than 5 minutes later, we got the crepes. About 5 minutes after that, we got the omelette. And about 10 minutes after that, the combo for the crepes arrived. I will say that the servers are nice, but being short staffed doesn't allow for an overall pleasant experience. I do look forward to coming here again because the food is that good. Literally some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. The jalapeños tomato's on top of the Chili con Queso we're absolutely delicious. The serving sizes were more than satisfactory. Great little local spot. Brand new restaurant and when we ate there it was their 2nd day in business. The owner was really friendly and welcoming and made the extra effort to not only find out how we're doing but made actual conversation. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. The food! We ordered chicken and waffles, the After You omelet and a California benedict for the 3 of us PLUS a Forget Me Not French toast (with a side of Nutella..just do it!) for the table because all the sweet stuff just looked too good not to try! I was surprised it wasn't extremely busy it's the perfect hip/chill family dine in experience. Me and my guest were seated immediately on some very comfy blue lounge chairs. Service was quick, everyone was so friendly. Our food came out hot and let me tell you!! It was absolutely delicious. I even joked I wish I could order one of each on the menu. We have visited this establishment twice now and I can say if it's pancakes you want this is the place to go. They have to be one of or thee best I've ever had. They are dense, moist and still find a way to melt in your mouth. My wife is picky and usually goes for the standard. Bacon and eggs. She gives it a thumbs up as well. Home fries are cooked good and flavorful we preferred them over the hash browns. We try to get to breakfast on weekends a bit early and the coffee also does the job. I drink it black. I'll definitely go back to try some other menu items. Today, I ordered the "After You Omelette." It was a little underdone, and loaded with too many onions, but still tasty. The sourdough toast wasn't anything special; just regular toast. But the breakfast potatoes were super good!! My favorite thing on the plate. It seems that the hash browns are already pre-cooked, which is a good thing if they were slammed but when I received my food the hash browns were cold. Another thing that was not good was the water-downed coffee and the lack of customer service, they only came to our table for the order, drop food off and to drop off the check. Me and my wife decided to try this place for breakfast! My wife ordered the triple two and 1 chocolate chip pancake on the side. The lady brought out a a huge triple stack of pancakes with toppings. I told her that my wife only ordered the 1 pancake side and all she said was oh yeah that is only for buttermilk pancakes! Why would she not say that when she ordered the 1 pancake and see what we wanted to do instead of not say anything and proceed to bring out and charge us $15.50 for pancakes when she only wanted a single side pancake for like $3.75? While up front there was another guest that walked up because the restaurant was clearing out and they had a "wait" for tables when there were a few tables open and no longer a line. Turns out, the que was simply not cleared. Inefficient, unhelpful, salty food, terrible service, sad about the experience here.
