This place must be adverse to seasoning as not a single item we ordered had any seasoning in it at all. About the only thing that had flavor were the eggs which was an oily flavor. Prices on the menu items were a little high but generally in line with other places of the same sort, with the exception of the coffee... It was nothing special, your basic Farmer Brothers restaurant coffee, wasn't very strong, and it was FOUR DOLLARS AND NINETY FIVE CENTS. FOR A CUP OF MEDIOCRE COFFEE. Seriously! $30 for 2 eggs a tiny bit of corned beef hash. 1 slice of toast and a cup of black coffee. They advertise the corn beef has to be homemade it obviously was from a can. The total bill was $25 plus a five dollar tip and I thought to myself $30 for that tiny little breakfast and it only came up one slice of toast the breakfast was just OK but I think of better ways to spend $30 at a restaurant then on two eggs, a tiny bit of hashbrowns!!! read more

Brand new find in Temecula! Food was delicious - the breakfast potatoes specifically were incredible. They were crispy and the seasoning was great. The Mickey Mouse pancakes are a great touch for kids. Only note is the hollandaise was a bit bland. The interior is modern, cute and spacious. It was easy to social distance. There are a few tables outside as well. Owner is super friendly and has another restaurant in Victorville. He shared some items from his new menu coming soon and we can't wait to try! read more

Been meaning to try this place out and after a Sunday car meet, my bf finally agreed to give it a go! We didn't order much at all & shared on the crab cake Benedict. Can I just say, I am a Benedict lover! My Benedicts has to have the perfect poached eggs and the muffin can't be hard and dry. After You Cafe served us perfectly poached eggs and moist muffins. But the biggest flavor of all, was their crab cakes! I usually have another go to spot for brunch that serves crab cake Benedict & that was my fave. But after today's breakfast, I think After You Cafe has taken over! The crab cake is a bit small, but it was good enough for the whole Benedict. The crab was REAL crab. I think it was pure Dungeness crab! For $16 bucks, I would expect to have good quality crab cakes & they for sure did. Service was quick and very attentive. We decided to give Oui a try today. I bought a veggie omelette, turkey sausage, chicken &waffles and a pancake, with over easy eggs and hash browns. Although the food was cooked well, it lacked flavor. A little salt and pepper would have brought out the best in my food, but it was definitely missing. The food was bland , the waffle wasn't crispy or light, the hash browns didn't have flavor and the eggs literally weren't seasoned. Our first & could be the last. The lady (middle-aged & seemed like the owner) who was taking orders and also sitting incoming guests had a distant energy when she took our food order. But first, we were welcomed with a gentleman, who seemed to be also working in the kitchen, with our utensils and choice of drinks which was just water w/ lemon after we were seated. I expressed to him we're ready to place our food order (I assumed he could also take order role since he came out from kitchen to assist other guests), but said that she will be right with us which brings back the lady from first scene. Seconds later, the lady stood beside us with her pen & paper, without any greetings, and we straightforwardly placed two, single meal (omelette & blueberry French toast). A good five to less than 10 minutes, our food arrived and went to work as we had limited time. Nobody came back to ask how we were doing or if we needed water refill besides when the bill was ready to be paid. Personally speaking, if I didn't get basic serving etiquette, you can't expect me for a damn tip! But my husband is way too nice (since his sibling is a server) to let it pass even if he didn't receive at least a one time water refill. Heck, I was once part of food industry and walked hostess shoes and I know customers can be nasty at most times, but at least do your rounds and refill drinks! Two stars for getting us seated within 5 minutes and for the gentleman who did beyond behind the kitchen role. read more

Had breakfast here last weekend in hopes that we would find a new option. Although the restaurant was clean, I was a bit confused by the decor. It had different knick-knacks, graiffiti on the counter, Marvel super hero decor, and random farmhouse decor. Anyway, that wasn't the issue -- my criticism of this place came down to 1. The food, and 2. The service. I ordered the country fried chicken and my husband preferred the "Thai Omelette". My kids had a kids pancake and a lox Benedict. My son's pancake breakfast was fine, but my daughter did not eat most of her Benedict because she did not like it. It was served on what looked like a big hamburger bun, not the traditional English muffin, too big for the egg/salmon, and did not taste very good. She did, however, enjoy her Thai coffee. I ordered a regular coffee and should have just ordered water because that is what it tasted like. We couldn't figure out what it was about my husband's omelette that made it "Thai". It was an omelette with jalapeños. My eggs had a strange texture and were oddly bright yellow. My toast actually came with margarine and not real butter. The chicken however was very good, but unfortunately everything else pretty bad. In addition, the service was not good either. The woman who brought out our food, and was also working behind the register never greeted us, or interacted with us at all. First and last time trying this place. We were sat quickly on a weekday but it was a long wait for someone to come back and take our food order. I ordered the avocado toast with smoked salmon on top and it was very very bland. It came out first and the rest of the food took 10 minutes to come out and at that point I had already finished mine. The server didn't bother to take my empty plate the rest of the time we were there. We had to ask for the check, more slow service and then the middle-age lady at the counter brought it over after me making eye contact with her a couple times. Good: The food was flavorful. The menu contained a variety of items which is always appreciated. The staff from the kitchen was helping out in the dining area. Thank goodness for them because my "Bad" section doesn't reflect them. Bad: When we walked in and asked how many were in our party, we said two. The main server, just looked at us like we were bothering him and just pointed to a table and walked away. When he eventually came back for our order he didn't look at us, we ordered and said thank you..... our server just walked away without saying a word. Another staff member from the back brought our check. He was friendly. I know the hospitality industry quite well. I'm tipping, however; only for the other staff member's benefit. We've been wanting to try this place out for a long time, finally made it in this morning. Was sat down at a table a foot away from a child playing cartoons on her iPad. (Super Annoying!) I asked if they had another two seater, was told no. Then I noticed two people were sat on the long table just behind us, we easily could have been sat on the other end of the looong table. Then I found a long hair inside my omelet. Needless to say it was not an enjoyable experience. Food was just ok, minus the hair. Also, check your tab. My husband ordered the three stacked pancakes and it came with a small sauce cup of syrup not even enough to cover one pancake and when we were getting ready to check out we asked for three boxes and the guy comes back with two half boxes not even enough to put all the food. My husband didn't eat all the pancakes and had to cut it into pieces to fit it in to the box. I asked for another box and the guy came back with a smaller box. Customer service here is bad. I cannot say enough great things about this place! The sign says After You Cafe, but they may be having a name change. I ordered the spicy chicken crepes, my sons ordered some sweet crepe dishes, and my wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with home made fresh potato chips. Everything was INCREDIBLE! My crepes came with a side salad and that house made dressing is to die for! It was sooooo good! The portions are huge! Much larger than we expected but the quality remains super high. It is clear that all their ingredients are fresh and top quality. If the amazing food wasn't enough to rave about, the service certainly is! I can't remember having better service any where else before. We didn't realize they closed at 3pm, and walked in about ten minutes before closing. The staff made us feel so at home. At no point were we rushed out and they took the time to be really intentional with us. We felt more like we were being hosted at their home than we did eating at a restaurant. We cannot wait to return to this amazing cafe to try more of the menu items. I don't mind at all driving 40 miles to give them my business. Fantastic breakfast spot with a myriad of choices for al types of palates. As I'm currently watching my weight, it was nice to see a light section that accommodated my food cravings. The vegetable crepe was delicious - savory yet with the perfect amount of sweet to the crepe itself. Variety of coffee options and the pancake I tasted was fluffy and cooked to perfection. I will not be back. The food was average and the service was horrible. I hate to call it but the staff lacks attention to detail and customer service skills. Outside was a piece of paper to sign to be seated. Unsure why there was a list to sign up to be seated despite the fact that there were several empty clean tables for customers to be seated. Why make people wait when there are empty tables? There seems to be an affinity for non melanated customers. Sitting I watched several customers of color be ignored. No silverware, service, drinks or anything. This happened 3 times during my hour visit to this place. One woman had to get up from her table and go to the register to ask that someone take their order after waiting 15+ minutes. The food was a C at best. I also liked their drinks menu (they have non-alcoholic like Thai tea and alcoholic like mimosas). They also have an extensive omelette and benedict selection. Food was good--very large portions and not overly sweet. There was no wait and the restaurant was clean. However, the service was not fantastic. Pretty slow for a not terribly busy time of day. We were so excited to try this place. When we arrived on Sunday they were surprisingly slow for a holiday. Maybe 4 or 5 tables occupied. We stood at the front for a few minutes with no greeting. A customer who ate already greeted us and said the pancakes are great. Finally an awkward server asked if we were here to pick up or stay. We said we'd like to eat here. He sat us at a table. We then waited 10 minutes with no follow up. In that time multiple employees looked over. A table next to us had food come out. The runner glanced over at us and went back to the kitchen with no acknowledgement. Super awkward. Not so much a a water or coffee order. We left. The food may be phenomenal but service was awful.
