Spent a weekend visiting Portland from LA and this was my favorite coffee shop out of the 6 I tried. The staff was super friendly and doing everything alone. Rockstar! We ordered 2 cardamon cold brews and 2 pistachio lattes. They were So good! Had some cute foam art on top. I really loved the flavor of my cold brew, I would come back here in a heart beat. Stumbled upon this beautiful tiny plant based coffee shop and I'm grateful I did! Tried the iced caramel popcorn latte and the blackberry lime scones. This is very likely the best iced latte I've ever tasted and I drink a LOT of coffee. Parking is paid and street parking, so just be aware but its worth it. Came to exquisite creatures coffee as my first stop after arriving at the Portland airport and it was just what I needed to start my Portland weekend. Service is very quick and friendly, the menu is fun and very unique. I asked the barista what their favorite drink is and ended up ordering the popcorn latte. My husband went with a matcha latte. The presentation was beautiful, the cafe is cozy. The matcha was excellent! Unsweetened (they offered to add sweetener but he declined) and so earthy and amazing. The popcorn latte was very good but if I went back I'd try something different, maybe I just needed to stir it a little but it felt like an unflavored latte until I got to the bottom, and then the popcorn flavor and heavy salt kicked in. It's a small little vegan coffee shop that makes a delicious caramel popcorn latte (trust me on this), along with a few breakfast options. The staff is always quite friendly and will chat with you while they're making your order. There's a few tables and chairs, but can get filled quickly. The downside is that out of the four times that I've ventured here, something has been missing two times. The first was lack of cheese on my vegan egg sandwich, the second was no flavoring in my caramel popcorn latte, it was just steamed oat milk and coffee. Another thing is they don't sell anything hot larger than a 12oz. Some days I want to indulge with a 16 or 20oz, especially on dreary days. It's worth a stop if you're in the area. read more

So I came in one day and chanced upon the popcorn latte and liked it so much that next time I brought my family in while they visited. The touch of salt and slight umami is what grows on you slowly and coffee and Popcorn just seem like a match made in heaven . My Family might or might not have liked it as much as I did but I can certainly say they were intrigued. We tried the Caramel and Theater popcorn lattes and also the Pistachio Meadow. The cinnamon roll was almost like a hybrid with a cupcake and the icing was perfectly sweet and satisfying. My hot Chai Latte was a little cold, I'm assuming maybe because the dairy-free milk was refrigerated, but it was pretty tasty. Delicious drink, food and great service. I went with the pistachio meadow matcha and it was really good - you can get it with espresso too. Loved the flavor combo. Got it iced on the employee recommendation and it was spot on. I also got the classic egg sandwich with both Sriracha and miso aioli and was very good. This is a cute and cozy location with limited seating best for parties of two. I truly enjoyed my visit and the customer service is top-tier. Excellent choice and in drinks and they do have decaf. They have a regular menu and a seasonal menu when it comes to their drinks. Some food options as well. The service was quick and efficient. There is no dedicated parking to this area. It is street parking only. I really enjoyed my experience here and the only reason I'm giving it four stars is for the limited seating area. I can't wait to come back and try more of their products. I've been here about 3 times, and have tried both the matcha & coffee. the space is warm & cozy, with a side of exposed brick wall, currently decorated for halloween, and a lovely dried flower arrangement paired with cement blocks in the corner of the seating area (3 parties). There's also an additional seating space that I think can house 2-3 more parties. Most of their latte drinks I believe can be made with either matcha or coffee. I had the popcorn latte (available in theatre, kettle, or caramel flavor) and while the flavor was delicious, was too sweet for my personal palate so I could only drink so much of it. This time I opted for the pistachio meadow matcha latte (pistachio & lavender syrup with pistachio dusting on top) - I did ask for it iced, but since it was a chilly rainy morning I'm sure my request seemed unusual because I received a hot drink instead. The matcha latte unfortunately, like in many coffee shops here, had too much milk (or too little matcha/matcha that was not strong enough to cut through the milk) so the flavor of the matcha did not really come through, but the pistachio & lavender syrups, along with the crunchy pistachio bits, still made it a decent drink. Inside there is a small counter to order at, and behind a raised area with four small tables so you totally can hang out and enjoy your treats here, or get them to go. I recommend enjoying your coffee here to fully enjoy the flavor and texture combinations, not to mention the foam artwork :) there's also outdoor seating for nice weather. WiFi passwords on the tables. Everything is totally free of animal products and the coffee specials rotate. I indulged in a Wintermint Mocha, Like drinking a hot thin mint cookie, and my partner got a Movie Theate Popcorn latte that smells and tastes utterly amazing - sweet and salty with crunchy buttery salty topping. Nothing I would ever think to try on my own, but it's delicious. Two options of hot breakfast sandwiches, we got the standard with just egg, a huge sausage patty, arugula, aioli and an umami miso spread. I needed to eat some feelings so indulged in two kinds of pastry - a blueberry danish and an almond croissant. Both so yummy. What a cool find! This shop is a vegan coffee shop, so no cow milk only oat milk. They don't have a lot of options but the ones they do have are interesting. Some varieties of Popcorn Lattes (kettle, caramel, etc.) and Pistachio Meadow Latte. My popcorn latte was good. If you're a tea drinker, they have caffeinated and herbal teas. For food options, they have a good variety of vegan pastries made by local bakeries. Most of them are sweet, but there was one savory scone when I was there. I don't know if all of the pastries are made by Shoofly, but the one I ordered definitely was. When a friend mentioned they have popcorn flavored lattes, I was intrigued. Interestingly, the flavoring works. The kettle corn latte is a delicious drink that's sweet with a touch of saltiness. This coffee shop is very small with only 2-3 small tables. IMO, it's better to order the coffee to go. The coffee is pricey ($7 for a small), but overall it's worth the experience of trying unique flavored drinks. Coffee shop is plant based which I can appreciate. My new favorite coffee shop in PDX! All vegan drinks and small bites in a quaint cafe in East Burnside. Their specialty latte selection was top tier, featuring unique and mouth-watering options that had my eyes widening even before the caffeine hit. I snagged a caramel popcorn latte with much enthusiasm, but without much expectation. Could it possibly be that good? I've had a few let downs at other shops recently but this one seemed promising. OH MY GOODNESS, it was divine. Buttery, sweet, salty and smooth, what made this latte a 10/10 was I could still taste the coffee. Overly flavored and sweet drinks from Starbucks could NEVER. You know it's good when you immediately want another and could foresee yourself drinking one everyday for the rest of your life. Coffee is basically my love language and a good latte can set the mood for my entire day. While I've been brewing at home a lot more these days, every once in a while I leave it to the pros. We tried their Popcorn Latte, which was the clear winner, and the Pistachio Meadow Latte. The Popcorn Latte worked so well, slightly salty and sweet. You could pick from Theatre, Kettle, and Caramel which I thought was very cool. The Pistachio Latte was not bad either but the pistachio flavor was weak. The lavender really took over. Staff were friendly, the interior is small but cozy and soothing, and the coffee, which is really what matters, was excellent. We ordered an espresso, a cortado, a matcha latte, and the pistachio meadows latte (one of their specialty drinks). The beans were quality, all ratios were spot on, and the oat milk was perfectly steamed and froth. I typically order a cappuccino, but the Pistachio Meadows latte was an absolute treat. Its mild nuttiness paired perfectly with the floral. Most specialty espresso drinks are heavy on the sweetness, but this was perfect as prepared and sacrificed no flavor. Got a pistachio meadow latte that had a subtle hint of the lavender (grateful because too much lavender can ruin your taste buds) and the sweet nuttiness I expect from a pistachio treat. They had a decent selection of things in the pastry case despite it being close to closing time. I opted for some sort of chocolate peanut butter cookie bar. The whole place is entirely plant-based so it was unsurprising the chocolate seemed to have a flavor that makes me assume it uses coconut oil (yum). The cookie part had a nice texture & balance of salt to compliment the sweetness of the peanut butter and chocolate. We were looking for some delicious espresso and a little something to go with it to eat. The coffee was good so full stars for that. It was the overall vibe that was a problem. Full of people about 20-30 yrs old with laptops in front of them as they stare into the distance and visit with each other. Does anyone work anymore ‍? We felt like we crashed a staff meeting. The staff behind the counter serving did not look up and meet us with eyes and did not say anything. It was dreary atmosphere and felt like the people in there just go there a sit all day with lap top. I suppose they ordered something at some point but no one had anything while we were there. I would never return and would definitely not recommend to anyone. 2 small plain lattes and one chocolate chip cookie almost 20$.
