We have a large NO SOLICITATION - DO NOT DISTURB cover over our doorbell. On footage captured on home camera video the One World solicitor very clearly saw the sign and proceeded to knock anyway. I could possibly give a higher rating but we have yet to have a working system. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS the customer service line. No responds to texts. No one responds to emails. The panels have been on our roof for three weeks. They no showed to the appointment with our electric company for final hook up. Had to wait another week for that to happen. Left without explaining anything. Said we'd get an email that never came. If this is part of the process, find, but NO ONE RESPONDS or tells us what is going on!! I just want to talk to someone!! Edit: Caleb, I did know that. Problem is, she doesn't answer her direct line either, nor does she respond to texts or emails. Yes, she reached out today, AFTER I left this review, a not-nice message on her line, on the customer service line, and on the customer service text. Unless you ensure that your project managers are actually responding to clients, seems like a poor system to only have ONE person a client can reach out to. In today's economy with electricity bills double what they were 6 months ago and having to chose between paying for utilities, rent/mortgage, or groceries, it makes sense to make the switch to solar. There are so many more options now for the working middle class person to pay for solar, including financing and leasing, for those of us not rich enough or tech savvy enough to pay outright and install our own solar systems. There are so many different components that go into a solar system and then the hassle of permits and not voiding product warranties by completing the installation oneself. That's where a trusted solar installation company comes in, such as Our World Energy. Our Solar panel team took us through step by step how much our solar panels would generate and how exporting the excess energy back to the utility company would save us money. The Solar panel team was upfront about all of the pricing and there were no surprise charges. My family has completed the solar panel installation, and we are now working on the battery installation. One thing I would change is that I would recommend to get the battery and solar panels as the same time, it would save a lot of extra headaches with having to get all new permits, installing new conduit, and additional financing paperwork. Our World Energy has worked with us every step of the way, helping us to navigate the myriads of obstacles in obtaining a solar system for our home. Our initial Project Coordinator for our Solar panels was Junelynn and she was phenomenal. We never had to call her, she kept in close contact with us step by step throughout the whole process. The solar panel install went relatively smoothly, though we had to change the planned placement from the roof of our manufactured home to the garage, due to the structure and age of the roof. This involved digging a second trench in our yard and reconfiguring the layout of the solar panels about 3 times, but through all of that, we were kept updated every step of the way and we did see a significant drop in our electric bill. We wanted to wait to have a battery added on, but after watching how much electricity we were exporting to the utility company, we decided to add a battery sooner than later, to further reduce our reliance on the electric company as rates will only continue to increase. We have run into some glitches along the way with financing, but the Our World Worker Mamdemba Faal has been with us each step of the way, helping us with paperwork and advocating for us to enable us to complete our battery installation. All of the ground crew, from the trenching team to the installers, were knowledgeable and courteous. Before choosing solar, make sure you know how much electricity you use and be sure your solar panels will generate enough electricity to cover that. Have a battery installed with your solar panels to better utilize the energy produced because the utility companies don't reimburse fairly for energy exported to them. Consider using a company with a local branch. Our World Energy has a brick and mortar office in my town, in addition to the main office in Phoenix. Working with a local team makes a world of difference. The equipment that was installed by our World Energy is excellent, top of the line. Getting a solar system is a long and can be a frustrating process, but the Project managers, installation team, and equipment are all top notch. Nothing has changed at this company. They messed up on our original system, then offered us an extra battery as a concession and for all of the issues that we had and promised us that the whole process would be way better this time and they would make up for their lack of communication and lack of effort the last time. Well, nothing has changed. I also had to personally go down to their office and speak to their representative. There was no managers or directors available, which I find very odd and the person that we were given and sat in office with told us that we would be communicated with and talk to an updated on all of the steps, but yet they have already tried to hide things that popped up from inspections have sent repair guys to our house without telling us. I asked multiple times last week for updates and have not yet received them so today I am contacting a lawyer and all of the news agencies that I can talk to about the lack of professionalism and customer service of this company. read more

I purchased my solar system in November 2023. Panels were installed in March 2024. We still don't have a working system at the end of July 2024. I have had to start making payments on a system that isn't running or producing any power or credits for the winter. They have reimbursed me for my payments, so there is that, but I am still losing money on production. The communication within their company seems to be lacking. I've been waiting for them to schedule some corrections the inspector wanted, but it's not so funny that they were made the next day. I think it is time to Get it all removed as this is well past a reasonable expectation would be. read more

This company is awful! DO NOT USE!! They are harassing the residents of Lake Havasu, AZ. They are required to have a permit for door to door sales, but when you ask about it they lie and say they have one but refuse to show you. They don't even tell you their name or the name of the company. They continue to go back to your house even when you say no to buying from them. I watched one guy go back to a house where it wasn't the owner there (house cleaner was cleaning) and try to peek in her car. He had complete attitude when we asked what he was doing. They also use scare tactics and lies to prey on anyone, especially the elderly, to try to sell. read more

Our experience with Our World Energy was excellent starting with Bryan, Regional Sales Manager, through representative Noemi, ending with Dylan and his outstanding 3-man installation team. Dylan and his crew arrived early July 12th and his 16 PV Q-Cells array installation went extremely smoothly.   This team was exemplary in every respect in what would be a simple, safe, flat roof environment. We are unaccustomed to such smooth, professional teamwork. For example, one panel was damaged on arrival but Dylan had a replacement plus an extra panel at the site in minutes. The Q-Cells panels are anchored with weights to avoid roof penetrations and present a lower than expected profile, thus are not visible from the street.  Now we await an unscheduled PNM inspection / two meter install before final connections. Per the Business Owner's response to my first review I was supposed to call the Customer Service phone number to talk to a Manager, which I did many, many times. I left voicemails telling them why I was calling. After I left the voicemails I immediately got text messages asking how they could help me. I texted back many time as to why I was calling. I finally received a phone call 2 days later, that went directly to my voicemail stating that the manager was in a meeting and she would call me back after she got out of the meeting. That didn't happen. I called back Customer Service the next day and left voicemails and text messages. I called one last time and finally someone at the Customer Service phone number answered the phone and then transferred me to the Customer Service Manager. We spoke to for a while about the cancellation problem I had and about how the Sales Rep had a different cancellation policy than OWEs. She stated that they had never heard about a Sales Rep having a cancellation policy of their own and that they were trying to reach the Sales Rep and the Sales Department to get an understanding as to to what was going on, but she had not heard back yet. This manager stated that she would keep me updated once she knew more. The next day I received a text from her stating that she was still waiting on a response from the Sales Department and the Sales Rep. I received an email from the Service Manager that stated since the Sales Rep had a separate cancellation policy than theirs, there is nothing they can do about since it had nothing to do with OWE, even though this individual is a Sales Rep for them (???). I responded back with many questions with one being "How can a company allow a Sales Rep for their company to have a separate cancellation policy? The response was "they have already reached out to our sales management team to investigate the cancellation policy you signed with the sales rep........" it also stated "please know that we are actively working to ensure this does not happen again in the future." I hope this company does follow through on ensuring that their Sales Reps don't have potential customers sign other cancellation policies outside of the OWE cancellation policy. No one should have to go through what I did or have to pay what I had to pay! This company needs to improve their Customer Service group. No customer should have to call multiple times, leave multiple voicemails and answer this company's multiple text message and then have to wait for responses that never come. Extremely poor customer service! NOTE: Think and investigate this company (YELP reviews, Google Reviews, BBB complaints, etc.) before you sign any contract and most importantly NEVER, NEVER sign anything on the Sales Rep's tablet. Also, be sure you get a Business Card from the Sales Rep and ask if they are a sub-contractor or own a company that benefits from the sale. read more

I was excited to get solar and get rid of my APS bill. I purchased enough panels to cover 130% of my usage. Needless to say I'm still paying APS and for the panels. I've noticed 2 issues and brought them up to the (non)customer service team. I have panels that face north on a flat roof and I have panels being shaded by parapet walls (during the fall and winter months) I requested that the panels be moved to better locations on my roof and the panels facing north adjusted to face south. I still half of my roof available. The (non)customer service team stated that my issue is from 1, single queen palm tree. They are unwilling to work with me on this issue. I requested to speak with manager or regional manager....still waiting. I'm happy I have solar, just wish I would have chosen another company. Buyer beware. UPDATED REVIEW: The company did finally refund my money- however, I had to do a lot of calling and open a case with BBB to get it back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I put down a deposit down on the 8th of April and cancelled the project with the sale person the next day. Not only did Our World Energy charge me a processing fee of $60 (without telling me they were doing this), they double charged me! It took a month to get the double-charged payment back to my credit card- however, they still have not credited the first charge. I am so glad that I did not allow them to come to my home- this company is not honest. They have tried to get my ACH information claiming they needed it to refund my credit card. I have never heard of such nonsense. So I am still waiting for the return of the initial down payment. I never signed any paperwork- although they tried really hard to pressure me into signing. There are many companies that are honest and reliable. This is not one of them. One star review is one star too many!! read more

We started this solar process with Our World Energy June of 2024. They tell you everything you need to know on how you will save money by installing their solar panels. So we agreed to have the system installed. The system was finally installed in August 2024. Now is when the fun starts. Installers will just show up without setting up an appointment with you. They think you can just drop everything at work so they can add more components to the solar. Then when you try to call them nobody answers or calls you back. So you finally set up an appointment with them they no call no show. It is now February 2025 and the solar is still not complete. Save your time and effort and do not believe a word they say cause they are nothing but a big fraud. read more

Was skeptical about getting solar panels because of the rumors of shady companies. I was not sure of how the process worked but made the mistake of trusting the sale rep Jack Flahive. The way he was able to convince me to go solar was that if we went solar It would "replace my aps bill". That could not be farther from the truth. I got a call from aps and they informed me i have a past due balance of $2,600!!!!!!! That is insane! Very poorly managed. Was told it would take 3 months instead it took 7 months. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Signed a contract that said I would get a 200 Amp Upgrade but they forgot to list it in the app for permits, so there was a big mess up. Told them (3 Times) in writing I was going on vacation so in Feb so I would not be available to open the gates. The day I left they called and needed access to the place. They dug a trench and piled all the debris in front of the RV gate so it could not be opened. Finally came to install the 200 Amp Box and they covered the cable/phone connections with the Electrical Riser. They had to come and fix that. Would not give me any credit in spite of all their mess ups and that I had to continue to pay for high Electric bills because of their delays. There are better installers. read more

So far the worst contractor I have ever worked with. They lied about the cost of lifting panels for routine roof maintenence. To OWE- cheap and easy is 14000.00 in labor. wanna fix your own roof? that voids the 25 year warranty so if you live in AZ and have a coated roof you will be forced to pay them 400.00 a panel for bssic repairs. 14000.00 in my case, every 5 years or loose your roof and warranty. shop elsewhere or get taken! read more

This is by far THE WORST company we have ever dealt with. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and completely shocked this company has grown so big. We signed contracts in April it is now December and still don't have solar hooked up. They have had people show up at 6 am with zero notice NEVER answer their phones for current customers, only people who are interested in buying. Now that they know how upset we are we get the run around and are unable to speak with higher ups/supervisors to get everything figured out. I would give zero stars if I could. They got the panals up but almost 2 months later system still not working. Didn't pass city inspection. They didn't hook up electral boxes for 5 weeks and this only happened after I complained about it getting done. They now have to move their electral panal, no idea what damage that will do to my new home, then get reinspected, than submit to APS for approval. Could be another 6 months before I get any benefits of solar power. I now understand why they give you a year before you have to start paying for the equipment. Getting Solar? Against my better judgement I decided to purchase panels from this company. The panels have been installed for about three months and still the work has not passed inspections. No communication even after multiple attempts from me to get anyone on either text message, email or call. The customer service is horrible and slow to respond. I want answers, why doesn't the panels pass inspection, how much longer before the panels can start producing energy. I decided to write this review in the hopes the company would see the review and attempt to contact me to rectify the issues. Is it too late to cancel the purchase. When our system was installed, it took four months to activate the system. Afterword I noticed the system wasn't working properly and had a difficult time getting OWE to look at the problem. When they did finally come to fix the problem the technician damaged pigeon proofing I had installed to which they informed me that by doing that it should have voided my solar warranty and the guy who installed the pigeon proofing should warranty OWE's damages which is ridiculous. I was never told that doing something most people do to protect their roof would void a warranty and they didn't offer that service. At this point they are refusing to pay for damages the incurred. Also, at this point the system (in my opinion) is NOT working as I was told it would. Yes, we are saving money on our APS bill, but we are not getting the returns we were told we would get. FASTFORWARD a couple months and we keep getting electric bills and having issues with out panels. Office staff says they'll have the right people call me back. a couple weeks go by and no call back. I call them and the same thing. it takes a minimum of 2 months to get any single issue resolved. managers tell you, oh I understand why you are frustrated and yet NOTHING changes or gets fixed. everyone in the office seems to drop the ball all the time and then apologize and tell you they understand why you are so upset but nothing gets fixed. still waiting for an issue we called about on Dec 5 to get fixed.
