My steak which was a Porterhouse was well cooked and prepared as ordered. Our waitress Sarah was extremely friendly and checked on us often. She made my birthday extra special. I was pleased to see that the Outback was better than some of the best Steakhouses in Maryland. Ordered pick up last night and everything was warm and correct. I love their salads... always fresh. Steaks were ....good. The cook on the stakes was a bit off.... the medium was burnt and hard to cut with steak knife. The Medium Rare was on the very rare side... almost like it was just quick seared and taken off. I had ribeye but it was too salty. I wish they can use little less salt. Usually they bring good steak without lot of salt. But today wasn't that good. Hopefully they correct the problem in the future. Gave them second chance but the bake potato look liked someone squeezed and the look wasn't appealing. I truly can't believe I'm about to post such a poor review of a restaurant we've eaten at for YEARS with nothing but good experiences. We discovered we could order Outback to go a few months ago, and did so in November (pickup order) without incident, enjoying it very much. Then we decided to try the delivery last night. Order process was easy enough online, and we were good to go. Food was just about 10 minutes outside the quoted window, but not a big deal, as the Bel Air Outback is usually hopping on the weekend and we know it. Our food arrives, driver very friendly and all is well. We go and open our food, and as my husband starts cutting his steak (9 oz sirloin) he comments that is seems tough...and then he noticed the color. We ordered a medium steak, to find his was actually well done. To make matters worse, he then noticed that the whole one side was burnt! This was the side that was "plate down" in the container, of course. So, we called and they made him another steak and brought it out, as quickly as they could (35-40 minutes!), but of course at that point the rest of us had eaten, with the exception of my husband (this was about 2 hrs after our order time of 5:37 pm at this point). The manager and staff were very gracious, and sent a card for a free bloomin onion at next visit. Cut to today, about 30 minutes ago when I opened the salad I'd saved from my dinner to have for lunch today, and was about to share with my son. I opened the container, poured the dressing, and just as I'm about to stir it, noticed the black fuzzy mold on a piece of the onion. I'm disgusted - if I would have opened the salad last night I'd have never noticed that, and I or one of my children would have eaten it! And this was a "customized" salad, as I'd asked for no tomato or cheese, so I know it was freshly made. We've NEVER had a bad experience at Outback, but I'll be honest in that I'm completely freaked out and wondering what I've not noticed in our food before. I don't know that we'll ever be back, which is very upsetting as we were liking that Outback in Bel Air is just minutes away from our new house. Hopefully this was a "one off" experience, but it is definitely something I don't want to repeat. Truthfully, I'd probably have never even posted about this experience were it not for the onion. It's an outback so obviously don't come here expecting Ruth Chris level steak lol. But I came here 9/6/19 with my daughter to celebrate my birthday. I got sirloin and shrimp and she got sirloin. I asked for my steak to be medium rare and it was cooked perfectly; however, the shrimp were a bit over cooked. Daughter's steak was cooked well done as she asked but was surprisingly not dry. I used to visit this restaurant often. My favorite is rare prime rib. Yesterday was the second time that they serve a medium well prime rib to me when I ordered rare. I think there's a big difference between rare and medium well since it's not seared. I don't need any excuses either. They did comped my drink. Anyhow, it's not the same anymore. I already loved this location but after having such a long day where I had minimal to eat and was really anticipating a good meal, this exceeded my expectations! Got my wife her Mother's Day meal here yesterday, and they were on point. My daughter ordered online, they gave an accurate time to pick up, and the food was hot and delicious when we arrived home. Hadn't been to Outback for while after riding the Texas Roadhouse wave. Went last week, weekday, party of 6 including 1 infant and 1 toddler. Our server was Aubrey, and she make me remember that eating out is made or broken by the service. She was attentive, got every order perfect, suggested things before we realized we needed them, and obviously provided oversight on the quality and presentation of our food. She was open and accurate about food suggestions during ordering so were i might have been disappointed otherwise, i ordered with eyes open and my expectations were exceeded! This is one of our go to places for a good family meal, or a nice lunch out. The drinks are always fantastic. The food is always good and even if there is a wait the staff is polite and quick to try to get you seated. *Did I mention that I love their house mixed Sangria?] It is never a disappointment to go here for a meal. The staff is well trained and polite and there is always a manager who stops by to say hello and make sure of that. Last time we went was for my son's birthday and the server went out of her way to make sure my steak was the way I wanted it, while she was training someone! On top of that, my son opted to not get dessert she told her manager who stopped by and gave my son a card for one next time he comes in. VERY awesome and not something she had to do. read more

I have been coming to the BVLD Bristo since I started working in Bel Camp in 2015. They were very new and had just opened not long before that so my first review was not great. But I need to take few minutes to do a YELP redemption review. Before COVID I ate at the Bistro at least 1 to 2 times a week. Their salads and pizza are amazing as are their sandwiches. My company used them to cater events and the food is fresh and delicious. The people are friendly and I love being able to go in and know that I am going to get a fantastic meal. My dressed baked potato was not fully dressed (only had butter and sour cream) and the brownie chocolate thunder from down under was over cooked and dry. I dined here last night with colleagues. This was my first time in an Outback Steakhouse. We enjoyed the meal. The appetizer mushrooms were juicy. The steak and lobster tail combo was excellent with a juicy tail and the steak cooked medium rare as requested. Always crowded, even in a restaurant saturated area. We always get lucky in the first come bar area seating. Had an issue with the bar once, they are usually slow to get you drinks here, but one time, I had a filthy glass and watched as they poured the same wine into a new clean glass. Mentioned it to management and got a $25 certificate! Steak temperatures have been a bit under what we ordered, but that's better than too cooked. Longtime Outback customer. About a month ago, my girlfriend, her parents & I went to the Bel Air location. We had a great time, great meal, but afterwards became very sick and both of us had to miss work due to the sickness. I was invited back after a not so good visit last time to try this location again. We were seated promptly and out waitress Kyla immediately took our drink and appetizer order. The bloomin onion was very tasty and served quickly. The salads next were fine. My dad and I both ordered ribeyes medium rare with baked potatoes. Steaks were well prepared , but unfortunately medium instead of what we ordered. Kyla was very concerned and sent the manager to see us. We didn't want to bother with a remake, but the very gracious manager made an extremely fair adjustment to our bill as compensation. The steaks were good, and had we asked for medium we would have been very happy. Overall though we were very pleased with this visit. Our waitress was outstanding and the food was very good. Be very careful and read your credit card statement after dinning at the Outback in Belair. On purpose, I always round up my tip, (20%), to the nearest even amount, so a bill for $47.40 with 20% tip would be $56.88. I always go higher and round it off, so I pay $57.00. Everybody wins, since the server gets even more and I have a check and balance system to ensure all my restaurant charges are correct. The server should have gotten a tip of $9.60, but they added an additional 40 cents to my bill making it $57.40 , after I signed it. Why? Because it gives them a round even amount for a tip of $10, with no change. Its not the 40 cents, its the fact that I tipped them high, I signed my check and AFTER that they increased the amount charged. That's called theft. Imagine if every server is going this on every bill, the amount of extra each customer is unwittingly paying. read more

I grew up going to Outback for their wings and steaks. We ordered the wings and they came out perfectly. Parts of the skin were slightly crispy and juicy on the inside. Even though they were well seasoned, you got to dip them in creamy dressing. Yum! I also ordered prime rib in medium rare. I received it medium and I mentioned that I had ordered a different temperature on the meat. The waitress went to the kitchen and a manager came back and told me that they're out of medium rare and that they only had mediums, however, they were happy to make me another dish. I had asked for the largest rib eye. I received the prime rib dish on the house and I also received a very delicious and well cooked rib eye. read more
