The first time in two years , first time I have been to a restaurant since COVID. It has gotten extremely worse , potato not fully cooked, rib eye was the worst cut I've ever had and I'm 70. They either had a very shorthanded night or maybe they need to rethink the idea of how expensive going out and how much that we spend. Money is kinda tight in both directions. So if I shell out money that it cost to go here, things need to be at least close to being right. Now that being said. We waited for 27 minutes to be seated, 2 people. We came in we were ask to sit in waiting area. It would be 10- 15 minutes. 3 couples came in and a party of 3, also. They are seated within 7-8 minutes, before us. 4 tables in an almost empty restaurant. So we wait. Finally just 3 minutes before their time was up, I was giving them silently 30 minutes, before walking out. There was about 6 tables full before the 4 that came in after us. We got seated. Waited about 15 minutes before they came to take our orders. About 15 minutes to get our drinks and take our orders. We got our food about 30 minutes after ordering it was the blooming onion. Another 25 minutes for our food. My glass was empty chili was Spicy I had to ask someone who was not our waitress for a refill of water. I just wanted to go. All the food was eaten that we wanted. The steak was super chewy, dry, potato, spicy chili second drink gone. I wanted to leave, waitress nowhere near me. Ask someone for a check. Another 20 minutes. Disappointing! It's not that the food was bad it just did not add up to $100.00 in value. Staff was wonderful - they cannot help that the product the chain is turning out is lacking! OB used to be a memorable experience its now become a regret. Worst thing is to obtain internet you need to give up you personnel info! I have to say it had been awhile since my husband and I had been here, but went back and got there around 1:30 for lunch. We ordered Hamburger and ask medium well and waited, waited and waited. People coming in way after us was getting their food and we still had not. Finally asked the waitress what is the deal? Why have we not received our food while people coming in after us had already received theirs? She apologized and went to the kitchen and said it's coming right out. Once the food finally came my meat was too undercooked for me, but wasn't sending it back. This time I went with 2 other folks this afternoon at about 4 pm. Parking was plentiful, and there were many tables to choose from. We were greeted immediately, and approached by our server as soon as we were seated. All in all service was excellent. I ordered a NY Strip Steak, medium, cooked Pittsburgh style. It was done appropriately, and served in a timely fashion. The reason for decreasing my rating from my last visit was solely the fact that the cut of beef was not as good as last time, too much fat to have to trim away. An overall enjoyable experience. The other diners had desserts which they thoroughly enjoyed. I will continue to try this location in the future, though perhaps will try a different cut of beef. read more

ordered dinner from here on DoorDash tonite. got the 2 lobster tails. $36.00. one of them was clearly rotten. the smell was really bad. for some reason door dash said they couldn't resolve the problem so I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. he said because I ordered from door dash he couldn't do anything about it. said if I come to the restaurant he would make me a new one. Went today at the outback in Brandon Florida arrived at 645pm told us 3 o minute wait ended up being 45 minutes. We ordered our food party of 4 2 of us got the 6 oz steak medium when it arrived and was rare very rare we asked to take it back and re cook came back the 2nd time very rare same way. Was very disappointed. They did not eat it. also bloom and onion we had ordered the onion skin was still on and it was terrible when you go bite into it and you bite onion skin!!! We will not be back to this outback it was the worse food we ever experienced at a outback the only good thing was the Server BRANDEN he was excellent and felt bad for him he kept apologizing. I have been to this Outback location MANY times, surprised I have not taken the time to review it before. This particular visit was a very rare lunch visit as we usually only go here for dinner. My boyfriend, daughter, granddaughter and I got to spend some weekday time together so thought we would go out. We were so pleased to see they have very reasonably priced lunch combos SNd the star of the show that all 3 adults ordered was AYCE soup and salad for only $7.99, we all got the French Onion Soup which is amazing there and I got their delicious house salad while the other 2 got Caesar Salad which is equally as delicious. We ordered chicken tenders and fries off the kids menu for my granddaughter which are great as well. Since I have eaten there so much I will also list and rate some of the other items we have tried: *Ribeye steaks- delicious here but we all prefer them wood frie grilled but with extra original Outback seasoning! *Seasoned & Seared Prime Rib- this is our new favorite, if u like highly seasoned meat that is a little on the salty side....YUM, we LOVE it! *Filet Medallions with garlic butter-I ordered them once, they were just ok and don't plan on ordering again. *Lobster Tails- They are fantastic here, have had them many times bot ways, wood fire grilled and steamed. Although I prefer the flavor of the wood fire grilled I have finally settled that if I am getting Lobster there it has to be steamed as every single time I have ordered wood fire grilled they over cook it:-( *Homestyle mashed potatoes- just ok, wish they would have kept the garlic mashed potatoes which were fantastic. *Sauteed mushrooms- these are ok but VERY salty and taste like something out of a can, wish they would make them fresh. *French Fries- are great unless they are served at room temp which has happened to me more than once, I especially like them loaded with cheese and bacon then dipped in their deli6ranch dressing, they have some of the best ranch dressing ever and it has a slight heat to it! *Baked potatoe soup- is yummy and if I am in the mood for a potato at Outback I will usually get these as a side instead of the mashed or baked potato. *Blue cheese wedge salad- yes please this is delish! *Bloomin Onion- yummy, my boyfriend prefers this but I prefer the petals as the big onion is too much for us and in my opinion is greasier than the individual petals. *Seared Tuna-many may not agree since it's a chain but this is mine and my boyfriends both favorite place to eat seared tuna, sometimes I even get the large order as my meal....its that good! read more

Very popular location always packed even during the week. Located in a strip mall concept with other restaurants and stores around. Since its not a stand alone restaurant and mixed in with other restaurants and stores they share a parking lot and can at sometimes get very full quick so definitely plan accordingly your dinner time best to arrive early. This location is always great I never have a problem. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is very friendly. I have been to this location now numerous times for lunch and dinner and had only like 2 minor issues like my steak being over done but they will cook you a new one so no big deal. I am typically a customer of Outback steakhouse from California to Florida --but this Outback Steakhouse was filthy from the bar top to the menus.- food actually stuck on every page of the menu, The bartender and the bar staff -- so uncourteous, and as each person who came in, they immediately warned - not informed - that they would wait at least an hour for food which is OK but it wasn't done in a friendly manner. It was done like --hey don't stay!! I literally sat with 3 to 4 dirty glasses in front of me most of the time for some reason the bartender never wanted to clear or white down or help out in anyway, I've never ever experienced this kind of service in an outback steakhouse the people behind me at every single table were complaining about not only the length of time - and how it came out it was just completely an awful experience. Absolutely horrible! Don't waste your money. I was so disappointed. I always go to the Outback in Wesley Chapel and have never had a bad meal. I invited my son's girlfriend to dinner and we chose the Brandon location because it was a halfway point between us. She had never been to an Outback before. I was so embarrassed and felt horrible for inviting her. Not long after ordering they told us they ran out of baked potatoes and had to give us mashed potatoes. She ordered her steak medium rare and it came to her well done (like leather). I ordered a steak and chicken Alice, something or another. My steak was hard to chew and the chicken was dried out and hard. The asparagus on both our plates was thin, wilted and still had the hard bottoms on them. They replaced my chicken and her steak. Her new steak was raw inside. It looked like a jelly donut. My chicken was not good. The sauce tasted like pure mustard. When I asked to speak to a manager, he came to the table and didn't seem to care that out meals sucked; however, he did remove her meal from the bill. The server asked if she would like something else, since she wasn't able to eat her meal, "maybe a dessert". She asked for a chocolate cake. They brought it and charged me over $10 for it. It was one of the worst dining experiences ever. I felt horrible that I invited someone to eat and they couldn't even eat because the food was inedible. read more

My wife & I come here about 3 times a month so I guess. it was about time to leave a review. Basically this is the "default" steak house. My wife like the New York strip & I get the bone-in Ribeye. Both are good steaks but not outstanding. Here in Tampa,, Eddie V's is a superior restaurant but of course you pay a superior price. The fare here at Outback is pretty tasty & definitely priced right. Also, the portions, be it the main entree, the salads, or dessert are generous in size. Hell even the baked potatoes are just this side of late-eighties Red Lobster size. In short this is a guaranteed good meal for a (mostly) good price. Four stars. read more

We came to celebrate our daughter's new job on Wed. 3/11. We were seated right by the bathroom so was not fond of that but dealt with it. We had a party of 4 and our waitress was pretty attentive. We started with the bloomin onion (9.49) which was a bit greasy on the bottom but pretty much expected, loved the dipping sauce. We also had two teas (5.98) which I think is crazy but pretty normal. For dinner we had the Bourbon Salmon(21.49) which was very good, Grass fed cheddar burger (13.99), blooming burger (12.99), and Alice Springs chicken (17.49). All our dinners were good but not great. For dessert we had carrot cake (7.99), and salted Carmel ice cream and cookie (5.99). The cake was average and the Salted Carmel was too much for me. Overall it was ok but nothing superior. For just over 100 $ we will probably go back to the Mom and Pop shops. read more
