Went here for lunch on Saturday. Started off with the blooming onion which was very good. It went downhill after that. Husband had the Aussie salad which looked good but was kind of bland. This is by far my favorite place to eat in the vicinity. Outback steak houses never disappoint and I've been a solid fan for many years since I've lived in California and went to an establishment there. I have been to many Outback restaurants all over the country over the years - I do seek them wherever I am because the taste and quality of food is almost identical. Such similarity makes for a always pleasant favorites as well as good tries of new additions. The restaurant in brick is always clean and friendly - very nice staff and they renovated so it looks even nicer now. It gets crowded so going a little earlier helps, especially since they have half price apps and drinks until 6.30pm...sort of a happy hour. Needed to find a quick place to eat with about 90 minutes to kill before attending an event. Not crowded at all except for football fans in the bar area. Our party of 5 was seated quickly. Food was decent - nothing to rave about - typical Outback fare. Had a very good dessert sampler to share as well. Wife's steak was undercooked, but other than that - no complaints. Service was great here! Greeted at door, a smiling hostess, and an attentive server. Aside from the constant upselling - she was great. Wife ordered a steak and shrimp combo special. When she reported the steak was undercooked they took it away, but she kept her coconut shrimp and baked potato on a separate plate to continue eating. Many places will take an undercooked steak away and nuke it or throw it on top of a huge flame and blast the hell out of it. Outback actually cooked her an entire new steak.... and brought out another potato (which we couldn't eat).... and a few minutes later she came over with another order of shrimp. We said it wasn't necessary, but she said it was their policy to re-cook the entire meal when a steak is sent back?!? We were impressed! read more

Outback steaks are seasoned goodness. I like Outback. Zagat does too. If you don't like heavily seasoned steaks, however, then I doubt you'll like Outback very much. FOOD: You've all seen the commercials for this place, right? The ones with the Aussie accent that say words like 'mate' and 'Barbie' a lot. Yup. Outback foods are Aussie inspired. If this is how food is in the Wild Outback itself, then I want to move to Australia. I started with the Bloomin' Onion, because how do you come here and not get that fried onion goodness? I've also have had the Ahi Tuna, and Crab Avocado dip and both were good. But for sheer decadence, the Bloomin Onion can't be beat as an appetizer. I ordered a Clam Chowder soup and Bloomin Onion burger again. The clam chowder is the best clam chowder I've ever eaten at a restaurant and was really good, clams were fresh and it had a little peppery kick. The Bloomin Onion burger was good. The burger itself was cooked the way I ordered it (medium rare) and tasted great. I didn't care for the Bloomin onion plus cheese and that creamy sauce all put together on it. But it did taste good and the ingredients were fresh. So that's more of just a preference. I usually order Ribeye here. And it always tastes fantastic. With that ring of juicy fat around the circumference like you expect from a choice cut of meat. The vegetables as a side are fresh and well cooked to retain crunch and not just be a soggy mess. I tried the lobster tail and sirloin meal and it was exactly what you'd expect. The lobster had a little chew to it. But hey, it isn't a fresh whole Maine lobster, so what can you expect? Food is well seasoned and spiced. I really enjoy it. The dessert, however, is a pass. I ordered dessert here before and it wasn't good. This time I ordered the new French Toast bread pudding because it looked so promising on the menu. It was awful. Small portion and had plenty of flavor. Bad flavor. Tasted like the inside of a refrigerator. Pretty gross. SERVICE: Our server was friendly enough. She was pretty attentive. But she didn't refill any of our drinks until we asked when the dessert came out. And the drinks were empty before the entrees came out. Not a mark of bad service. But I do expect a steakhouse server to be on top of this. Not a big complaint but worth mentioning. I prefer Longhorn for service and Outback for food. But the service isn't bad at Outback just never very great. PRICE: The lobster tail and sirloin for $15 is an outstanding value for a steakhouse dinner. The rest of the menu is just on par of what you'd expect at a chain steakhouse. $8-10 apps. $11-30 steak dinners. You know the drill. You pay for what you get. OVERALL: I enjoy coming to this Outback on special occasions. The steaks are good, cooked correctly, and good sized. The prices are right. And the service is good. Recommended but not highly. Had a great meal here tonight. Started with the watermelon wagon drink which is on the "sips n snacks" menu so it's only $4- sweet! Fiancé had a piña colada. I then moved on to the strawberry peach sangria which was super delish. I had the steak tacos, very tasty. I just wish they had put the delicious herb aioli that was served on the side, on the tacos because there wasn't enough of it. My fiancé had a 10 oz filet mignon with a baked potato and cheesy broccoli. I've never seen him enjoy a vegetable- guess you can't go wrong smothering it in cheese. Always great service and great quality. We ate at Outback on Sunday at around 3:30. We got sat and greeted by our server Frank immediately. Drinks came out quickly and shortly after our apps came out. Our kids love the mac and cheese, chicken tenders and fries, which were crispy and hot. My family of three usually enjoys going to Outback every once and a while. Unfortunately this last visit wasn't very positive. The waitress seemed friendly but was more interested in assisting those at the bar than our table right next to it. While my family enjoyed the appetizer I waited for my side salad which never came. We enjoyed most of the entrees. However, the fries were soggy and tasted weird. The waitress could see our table but we sat for long periods of time without any food or interaction from her, even on a slow night. People at the bar were receiving their food (including salads) with no problem, even the ones that arrived after us. Wish we had a better experience. read more

My wife and I always loved Outback but our recent experience at this particular location was terrible. While our appetizer was fine our dinners were not. Both our steaks were served extremely well-done and not as we ordered. When they came back a second time they were wrong again. Bottom line, after waiting for about 45 minutes for a table and our dinners cooked wrong twice. We decided to go have dinner someplace else. It wasn't our servers fault she did a great job! The dinners were removed from our bill and she was tipped accordingly. We really had no interest on waiting another 10-15 minutes for a manager. This place is horrible. The Mgmt staff doesn't follow through w their word. I was there in 12/15. I ordered two steaks w the curbside ordering done over the phone. I picked up the food and upon getting home my daughter and I attempted to eat dinner. Do to our busy lives we did take out which I thought would be a bad idea. Guess I was right. The steaks weren't cooked correctly at all. I called and asked to speak to the Mgr. Anthony got in the phone I explained I was very dissatisfied w both steaks. He went on to apologize asked for my address and promised to send me a gift card for the error. I waited over two weeks. Called back and asked to speak to the manager. A young lady said the Mgr said to take a message so I gave her the info and she states that Mgr Tom would return my call. I explained I was glad it would be someone else cause Anthony never did and 2 plus weeks had passed. Well a week went by and again nothing. I called for the mgr again because o thought it would be a good idea to notify someone outside the store level. Well Anthony got on the phone and gave me the info and said he would personally mail out my gift cards. As hard as it is to find jobs today I felt I should wait to get the gift cards before calling anyone else. I felt bad. Well the gift cards came in. I again ordered two steaks, a side of shrimp and some bread. I went back tonight 1/29/16 to pick up my food rushed home to eat again w my daughter. This time both steaks were done terrible. One was over cooked badly. The second was so raw I actually took photos of it to prove it. And to add insult to injury they forgot the side of shrimp. I don't want nothing g else from this place. The service sucks the Mgmt sucks and so do there cooks. I'd love to hear from someone in their corporate office. I did the survey they ask for. It's use less. I have not been to this location in years, I went because I had a gift card. Although we had a 25 minute wait,the out door waiting section was very comfortable and a waitress came out with free hors d'oeuvres. The exterior of the building looks brand new so it must've had a renovation recently. Although the seating inside was extremely tight, both my wife and I enjoyed the food. The ambience is average . The waiter was professional, attentive and made suggestions based on what he likes to eat. I enjoyed the steak he recommended. The food was delicious although my steak had a lot of fat. The Blonde beer recommendation was delicious and a value at six dollars for a large glass. It was enough for the whole evening. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a great meal, at a good price. I came into Outback skeptical last night I have to be truthful. Chain restaurants scare me and I am always suspect about cookie cutter service and frozen/fryed food that most chain restaurants tend to offer. After my visit last night I am happy to share that Outback Steakhouse is one of my favorite places to dine now. My server Lauren was able to guide me through the menu and was happy to share how most menu items are house made and made me feel confident ordering my meal. I had the blue cheese pecan chopped salad to start and was informed that the blue cheese is grated from a huge block of cheese daily. I was so pleased to hear and the salad had explosive flavors. Next I enjoyed a full order of ribs and a baked sweet potato. The sweet potato was dressed with honey butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. I am so glad Lauren suggested this side item because I am totally going to crave it everyday until I return. The ribs were tender and the BBQ sauce was delicious. I stuffed myself so dessert wasn't an option but I glanced at the menu. Dessert choices seemed more unique than other local eateries in the area. On 10/14 , I ordered via call in. A steak house salad, and the twin lobster tail meal. I had to repeat the order 4 times, and when read back to me twice, it was incorrect. I repeated it again, had it read back to me and it was correct at which point I then waited on hold for a lengthy period. Upon arrival to pick up the order I was handed a bag which I looked inside of to check the food. The steakhouse salad had no steak, there were minimal fries with the lobster dinner and the Mac and cheese came in a styrofoam cup with no lid, only foil. The attendant returned with my card and I handed the salad back explaining what was wrong. Having already swiped my card, he was anxious and said well I can just take it off. I said no, this is my dinner, I need it! He replied by telling me it was going to take a while to prepare my salad because the one they gave me wasn't the steakhouse salad and it had to be remade.
