I don't eat here often, but my filet was pretty tasty. I stopped over after shopping at the Empire Center in Burbank. It was pretty quiet when I arrived, and I was pretty hungry so my Glenlivet and filet were just what I needed. I'll come back again when I'm in the mood for steak.

I came for the lunch special. It was pretty small. The piece of chicken was kind of dry. Lot's of mashed potatoes. The service was fine. It wasn't necissarily the value for the price once the small portion is seen. The Martini was well made. I sat a the bar and there were two televisions playing sports.

Outback is one of those places that everyone knows, and strive to give guests the same experience no matter which location they dine at. And it's largely true! They're the Starbucks of steakhouses. I've eaten at perhaps ten different locations in my life and they never disappoint. And this location in Burbank is no different. My lady and I had drinks together as a part of our first date ever, so it holds a special place for us. We always sit in the bar area. They have a great selection of mixed drinks and signature cocktails too, which sets them apart from many other places. And I'm sure I don't need to mention the food, but I will. Outback's food is consistently great. Always. From steaks to ribs to chicken, pasta, salads, sandwiches and burgers, or just clever appetizers, you won't leave hungry. You'll probably leave with a to-go box with enough for lunch the following day! Why only four stars then? Well, at this location I think attentiveness to customers waiting to order could have been better. We sat at a booth in the bar area, and the area was fairly busy. I happened to overhear a single gentleman in the booth behind me tell a passing waiter, "I'm ready to order now," in a tone that told me he'd been waiting a bit long already before we arrived. The waiter said he'd be right back, and about five or ten minutes later he did come back, but came to our table instead of his. I politely indicated that the other man had been waiting longer and should be helped first. I don't think I should have had to tell him that. That seems like Waiter 101. Anyway not a huge deal. Otherwise our food was excellent, our service was good, the manager even came out and visited several tables including ours to check on guests, and we had a nice conversation with him.

Their potato soup alone is a reason to keep going back. Although I wish they would give you more potatoes in the soup because a bowl is $10 should not just be all liquid. They have a good lunch special for 15 bucks you get a very tiny piece of steak taste delicious though and a side and of course they're warm bread. I don't mind the portion of the steak because I have to cut back on my food sizes. So it's perfect for me but for other people I would assume they would be disappointed in that size. Again the food is good though and I'm not complaining.

Celebrated my sister's birthday lunch and had the best experience! From the customer service to the delicious variety of dishes, we couldn't have chosen a better place. Although Outback if a franchise, I'd chose here over any of the overpriced privately owned restaurants in LA county. We ordered the Aussie cheese fries, wings, Caesar salad and steak with a side of mashed potatoes. We cleared every plate and had definitely got our money's worth. Thanks again for making my sister's birthday so special!

We came to Outback because we didn't feel like driving anywhere and we'd been shopping nearby. I haven't been to an Outback in years and I must say I wasn't missing much. After looking at the menu I realized nothing stood out to me. I just could not find anything that sounded appealing. I ended up going with the Aussie fries minus the bacon and I ordered the blooming onion because, I mean, you have to when you go to Outback. The hubs and our oldest got the 5oz sirloin lunch specials...one with the sweet potato and added Caesar salad and one with the loaded baked potato. Our youngest went with the outback burger lunch special with the loaded baked potato. I was not impressed with the Aussie fries as they were bland and the ranch given tasted like Hidden Valley. They would've been way better if they'd made the ranch homemade. The blooming onion was delicious but I didn't care for the sauce that came with it. I asked for ranch but that didn't taste any better so I ate it plain. Everyone else enjoyed their food. The hubs devoured his sweet potato saying it was the best thing he ordered. He especially loved the cinnamon on it. He let me taste his salad and it was fresh and crisp and the dressing was delicious. Our waitress was nice and attentive making sure our drinks stayed full. Outback is a basic franchise restaurant. It's nothing fancy and usually you go when you know exactly what to expect...basic. If that's for you, then you'll be happy.

So we walked in to what seemed like a slow night. Sat bar and ordered our food. The place looked clean for the most part and the bartender was very friendly. BUT... then the smell came about. A foul smell lingered around the bar and then we started to see a bunch of gnats flying around the area. It was to the point that some people moved from their seating area Ends up the bar sink was near us and that is where both the smell and gnats were coming from. Not something we enjoyed.

Came in for a quick bite and ended up loving this crispy combo plate! Everything was fried to perfection crunchy, hot, and super flavorful. The mushrooms and zucchini strips were a surprise favorite, and the shrimp had a great texture too. The trio of dipping sauces hit all the right notes, from tangy to creamy to a little spicy. Paired it with their strawberry lemonade, which was super refreshing and not too sweet. Service was friendly and fast, and the booth setup made for a comfy, chill vibe. Great spot if you're in the mood for solid apps and a good drink.

I haven't been to an Outback in a while! My friend secretly loves this place so we decided to meet here for lunch. I had gone onto their website the night before and joined their Rewards Program and got an email for $4 off two lunch specials. We both ordered the tacos combo - I got fish and he got steak. There was a two taco combo which I thought we had ordered but the waiter put us down for the three taco combo which was slightly more expensive, which kind of defeated the purpose of the coupon and we didn't even touch the third taco. Still the food was tasty - took a little while to come out and the waiter was MIA quite a bit during our visit. We had to track him down for the bill and to pay, and asked for boxes but they never came. The little screens they have on the table would have been nice to used but we apparently had the wrong one and our meal was listed on the machine. Other than that, this place is pretty good. read more

Came with my boyfriend for a date night, when checking in the gentleman said it was going to be about 25 minute wait and spot on 25 minutes after we got called to sit. A must have appetizer is the blooming onion. Entrés took about 15 -20 minutes. Our server Kiera was great! Great services over all. read more

My partner and I came here for dinner while visiting town from Hollywood, FL. Our server was Jordan who was professional & attentive. We ordered the Aussie cheese fries for an appetizer & they were delicious. For drinks I had the Blackberry Martini & my partner had the castaway cocktail. For our main course choices I had the Sirloin (11 Oz) and chicken & my partner the Sirloin (11 Oz) & Aussie twisted ribs. Both with seasoned rice & Steakhouse Mac & cheese. I haven't been to an Outback in at least 10 years but we had a gift card for it so it was time for a trip. Their signature appetizer is the Bloomin' Onion and I remember that it was extremely salty years ago when I had it. Well, after 10 years, some things just don't change. We ordered it and it was very salty. I can't be the only one that thinks this so I really wonder why they continue to make it so salty. After a few bites, you just can't eat any more. My boyfriend and I ordered some steaks which were decent. This Outback had a photographer going around that was taking photos of each table. I didn't know restaurants still did things like this. I thought I heard her say it was free when she was at the tables around us so I thought it'd be fun to get our picture taken. But during our entire time there, the photographer didn't ask us once if we wanted our photo taken. She asked all the other tables around us but not us. It's not like she was swamped with taking photos. I literally saw her the entire time just walking around basically looking for work. I was honestly offended In addition, there was a manager that went around to the tables to ask if everything was okay. Again, I saw him stop by all the tables around us but he didn't stop by ours. It's frustrating to be treated like second-class customers. Needless to say, we won't be back at Outback...unless we get another gift card! read more

My friends took me here last night to celebrate my late birthday dinner with them. We got seated pretty quick since my other friend already put his name down. Our server was Robert and he was very friendly, along with attentive to us. We started off with the Steakhouse Mac and Chesse bites which were alright. For our entrée, we all got the 15oz Ribeye Steak. I got mine at medium rare with double aussie fries since none of the others side looked good to me. Our serve also brought out some bread and they were good with butter. For one of my fried side he got the coconut shrimp and blooming onion. I tried the coconut shrimp and it was alright to me. When my Ribeye came out, it looked so delicious and flavorful. My aussie fries looked already dried since the chesse hardened up and there also wasn't that much bacon on it. If I was to go back, I wouldn't order the aussie fries again. My ribeye steak was delicious, cooked perfectly to medium rare and seasoned wonderfully. The parking in this lot is fine, you'll be able to find parking nearby or a little bit further away. read more

Fantastic birthday experience!!! The filet was tender, juicy-no fat on it. Cooked as we asked. Lobster also great as well as the bread & broccoli. Associates were awesome!!! Along with the raw steak and unknown item contaminated peppered ahi we were not given bread and butter and were served beer in a crusty dirty and disgusting glass. No empathy from management besides a smile and to go cook off steak. Server was never around. I will never come back here. read more

Everything about our visit was phenomenal. Oscar took care of every request & was super friendly too. We called ahead for our party of 6, and our wait time was reduced SIGNIFICANTLY, which we appreciated SO MUCH!!! When we were seated, Dayana promptly greeted us and was extremely attentive to our needs. She provided excellent service throughout our experience. This was my first time here. We ordered steak and ribs, both of which came with 2 sides. The baked potato side was my favorite. My husband liked the ribs the best. We ordered the Prime rib Sandwich and the soup/Salad deal for curbside pickup. Only giving them a 3 because of price to portion and making an order direct was a little bit of a hassle. also, curbside is right next to the dumpster and it smelled really bad. Rib sandwich was a like a half size portion and I couldn't tell if they gave us Au juice sauce...because whatever it was, it tasted just like a left over portion of the French onion soup ... The person taking the order over the phone felt like it was a call center as they didn't know the menu and sounded like they were reading the script, asking me the same question I had just told them. When I got to the curbside lot, I had to research and found I needed to call to let them know I was here. Not a real problem, but with the cell I had to call a few times to get through. Texting works better. read more

Food was trash. I don't know who's the cook in the back but this food was disgusting. The baked potato soup had grease around the corners. The wings i ordered, they're hot wings right tell me why the came out super dry, I had to literally ask for "extra sauce" on the side since the waitress said they already had some. Crazy how you go to a different location, same establishment and the food was perfect but coming to this one made me not want to go to any other outback again. Im sticking to the one i always go to. Never coming back to this location again. Y'all blew it. read more

I recently visited the Outback Steakhouse in Florence, AL where I live. Always appreciate the service and consistancy of the food (I frequently order Chicken on the Barbie). I also like the vibe of the restaurant. It's never so loud you can't have a normal conversation, and the seating is comfortable. This visit was a little step up due to the exemplary service I received from Joe. He went above and beyond to make small suggestions, even though he knew I was a regular. As a result, I found I am a huge fan of their lemon butter, which I had on the side with my Chicken on the Barbie, broccoli, and salad. I'm not unfamiliar with lemon butter, but this was delicious! Joe is an excellent representative of your restaurant. I highly recommend Outback Steakhouse, and this location in particular. read more

i took my grandkids to dinner last night 11-2-24 here and it was busy. We opted to be seated with no wait on the patio, after all there were heaters right? Its November for gods sake right? Surely the heaters were on and working right? NO, NO THEY WERE. NOT! We waited for staff to turn them on for at least 15 minutes and when they came they couldn't get them working because they were out of propane! So we were freezing! I went inside to request we be moved to a table inside. I approached the hostess desk and the woman manager with the dark hair and snotty attitude told me it's a 40 minute wait! when I tried to explain that we had already ordered our meals she told me that I would still have to wait 40 minutes . I took a look around and there were several empty tables available. This woman was very rude to me and offered no fix to out freezing situation. She clearly doesn't know what hospitality is, or who supplies the funding for her paycheck. I will NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE! Discraceful customer service. I've driven past Papa's Meat and Seafood on Glenoaks Blvd a dozen times, on our many trips to the area. We alway promising that we would stop in, and I'd finally stop in. Honestly, my only regret is waiting this long. I ordered the Luka Sandwich, which is loaded with their 14-hour smoked pastrami brisket, cheddar, pickled cherry peppers, iceberg, and Papa's aioli on toasted sourdough. The pastrami itself is a work of art--smoky, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and seasoned perfectly without being a total salt bomb. The pickled cherry peppers give it this incredible, bright pop of heat that cuts right through the richness of the beef. It's a messy, beautiful monster of a sandwich. My wife went with the Surf 'n' Turf Bowl, which comes with their marinated "Crack Shrimp" and grilled angus beef over rice with a fresh shirazi salad. The beef was incredibly tender, but those crack shrimp stole the show--snappy, heavily seasoned, and completely addictive. You can clearly taste the quality of a high-end butcher shop in a casual, quick-service lunch. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is the wait time and the seating is also pretty limited, so it's much better suited for a grab-and-go situation than a sit-down date night. That being said, the quality of the meat here blows standard sandwich joints completely out of the water. If you're in Burbank and want a lunch that actually feels high-quality and satisfying, do yourself a favor and drop in. I'm already eyeing the A5 Wagyu Cheesesteak for my next visit!

Pork was slightly undercooked - which is a bit understandable given how thick the pork chop was - AND the team immediately repaired it. Delish! The mango chutney was a great compliment. (Sadly, the wait staff misunderstood me when I asked to have that packed up to go, so just make sure to check your togo bag for it) Ribeye was cooked to a perfect black and blue... Which is very difficult for many steakhouses to do because it requires the steak to be at room temp In order to get the outside sear just right. Pretzel bread... You can never go wrong. Gnocchi in the cream sauce, chef's kiss. I wish we had more pretzel bread to go with the remaining sauce. We tried the rabbit cocktail, the peach mezcal mule, and the old fashioned (with Hayden Basil). All perfectly made. Joe recommended the rabbit one, and it was excellent. Do not let looks deceive you the mixologist knew what they were doing. We ended the evening by getting two desserts: sticky toffee pudding and the chocolate chip cookie. The sticky toffee pudding was not what I would call a traditional version of it. It was more of a cousin to a sticky toffee pudding; think cinnamon roll dough meats toffee drizzle on top. Tasty, but again not what we were expecting. The cookie beats any pizookie you could find. Crispy on the edges warm in the middle. Can't go wrong with a classic. We parked in the neighborhood, but there's also valet. Note that there is a dress code. So long as you don't show up in workout or yard-work clothes, you should be fine. UPDATE (June 24th, visit #2) Excited to return. This visit solidified Blvd Steak as our go-to steak house (And I've tried several LA and Vegas institutions). This vist we met Sunny. She was excellent; helpful and considerate. FOOD. Many new-to-us items 1) Asparagus Starter, w/honey & fresh ricotta. The asparagus were as thick as your thumbs, so i was anticipated needing a steak knife to eat it. NOPE! These were cooked perfectly; eat to cut and delicious to taste. 2) 14oz NY strip (black and blue) perfect cook. High quality cow. Perfectly seasoned. 3) Steak frites. Holy Moly on that 48hr marinade. Divine. Fries must be double fried, because they are perfectly crispy. This could easily be a shared plate. 4) Short rib mac&cheese. I always enjoy a mac that includes panko for a nice crunch. 5) & 6) Cocktails. We went for the bottom lines of the Cocktail menu: Blood Orange Mule (rich and cozy) and Watermelon Margarita (perfectly refreshing for a CA sunny day) 7) Butter cake with strawberries & vanilla ice cream. chef's kiss. Of course we got another pretzel bread and chocolate chip cookie. FYIs for Parents of small ones. Portions are sizable, so depending on the appetites/depth of the stomach of your LO, starters and steak frites are good share options. Get a 2nd pretzel bread though: one for you and one for the Little. And while there is no dedicated Kids Menu, the staff can easily provide kids cups (w/lids) and suggest kid-friendly items. AND, i got some of that delicious mango chutney (plus another wonderful surprise) thanks to Chad... who might have been a Magician or Mentalist in a past life. We just ate dinner here last night and I have to say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had eating at any restaurant. We made a reservation for our party which was a group of 14. When we arrived we were told that there was still a large party dining and we would be seated as soon as they finished. Only problem was that they were nowhere near being finished. They had us wait outside while we actually got to watch the party we were waiting for eat, talk, laugh as they were sitting outside a mere feet from us. We were told they already paid the check but we had to wait for them to actually leave. An hour and 15 minutes later they finally started to get up and leave. We waited so long we had to get Jamba Juice for the family to keep the edge off the hunger. I'm 7 months pregnant and almost fainted from hunger. We had quite a few small children in our party and as you can imagine keeping hem busy for that long was quite the challenge. I find it extremely unprofessional and absurd that a family restaurant such as this one cannot accommodate more than one large group at a time. That is unacceptable. And knowing this they still booked our reservation. Also very unprofessional. We saw the rest of the outdoor dining area open and they could have easily pushed a few tables together to accommodate our group but they said it was against fire code. Unbelievable. The food was ok, not great that's why I gave 2 stars. If it was based on how we were treated I'd give zero stars. My wife and I decided we would treat ourselves to a steak dinner at outback. We used to be regulars and haven't been to this location in years but visit many other locations. We had to wait over an hour for a table and asked if we could sit on the patio to be seated faster and they quickly said no. There were no customers on the patio and barely any tables sat inside. My wife wanted to speak to the manager and while we were waiting to ask someone there was no one to be found. All the sudden everyone was gone. My wife went to go get something from the car as I waited and she found the manager.... A tall goofy guy talking badly about the customers not understanding why they have to wait in a little room toward the kitchen with the employees. The conversation didn't end there. They were then talking about what they were all doing after work which consisted of very inappropriate language and highly concerning for a professional atmosphere while a manager is present. This is the most unprofessional thing we've ever witnessed. Just because we asked about OPEN tables now we're being talked about by the manager?!? HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. we will be contacting corporate and hope they don't have people this unprofessional running such a huge name. Came here on a Thursday night. I had never been to this location but was pleasently surprised by the decor, free parking, and nice area to walk around after. The food was as good as I remembered but the portions were way smaller. I ordered the steak & shrimp and my girlfriend ordered the ribeye. Very well seasoned steak, seafood and sweet potatoes. Loved the ceasar salad too! Our waitress was friendly but everything seemed very rushed. She came over immediately after we sat and asked for drink and appetizer orders. Then after I had my salad for a few minutes and was not done, dinner came out. Then before I was done with dinner she brought the check. After we paid, she never cleared the dinner plates. Maybe everything was so quick because barely anyone was in the restaurant, but I would have liked to have taken my time a little more. read more

Ok I just want to say I have been coming here for 4 years now give or take a couple months. Food is good to great most of the time so that keeps me coming back although this might be my last visit. Now I'm not saying this is or should be the classiest joint ever but what are you doing with the silverware? Just bring me a set rolled up like normal and we are good. Why are you doing this? Are managers trying to cheap? Is it some big wig thinking she's innovating over here? Well it's crap and I can tell you from looking around the restaurant everyone thinks this is terrible. I might be too nosey and trying to read minds but the table next to me said the same thing I was think, "where's the silverware and napkins?". Seat me with silverware. Not the best but still one of the best values around with steaks, excellent starters and sides included. Usually good food but sometimes inconsistent,a few times the steaks are a bit dry and overcooked. I usually order the Victoria Filet with Aussi fries, a safe choice. I usually add the soup or salad for around $2 extra.Love the bread they bring out before the meal. Downside is the seafood it does not taste fresh more like frozen, I will not order it every again. The Bloomin' Onion a heart attack waiting to happen, but yummy!I On weekends you can expect to wait 20-30 minutes for a table, even if you reserved it. Outback doesn't disappoint. This is one of our go to restaurants when my husband and I are in the mood for a juicy Ribeye steak without breaking the bank. Their bone in ribeye with two sides is perfect for sharing. We usually order it Medium rare and it comes out just right. I love their seasoned ranch dressing in the house salad as well as their hot complimentary bread. If you want to get an appetizer I would highly recommend the chicken wings which are meaty and seasoned well. Oh and if by some miracle you have room for desert then definitley go for the thunder down under! haha its a decadent warm brownie with vanilla ice cream and a big dollop of whipped cream on top. mmmmmm cheers! read more

Outback used to be one of my favorite places to get a good steak. However, I ate there recently and was disappointed. Ordered steak (fillet mignon) and lobster. The steak was medium rare exactly how I like it, but had so much gristle that not all of it was edible. The lobster, although tasty, was small even for a crawfish! Also, when I go out for dinner, I expect a somewhat quiet enjoyable meal. But this night there was a child running around the tables laughing and screaming; I looked over only to find that one of the food servers was chasing and playing with him. Is this a restaurant or a playground?! When I'm paying that much for dinner I expect a little more. read more

This place is ok. Outback seems to have declined in the quality , but it's still better than McDonald's I guess. We ordered the prime rib and bone in ribeye. The steaks were alright, a little too over done, although I requested medium rare. The mushrooms are also different here than at the other places, seemed to have been a little on the undercooked side. Customer service was real nice this time. I think we got lucky and got someone who actually likes their job. The drinks were fine too. Had a Samuel Adams and Old Fashioned. I'm not really too thrilled, but I'm also not turned completely off. read more

I hadn't been to Outback Steakhouse in a while, so I decided to stop by again -- mainly for their famous deep-fried whole onion. It's every bit as delicious as I remembered... even if it does come with a whopping 2,000 calories! Definitely worth the indulgence. We also ordered the steak and lobster tail, and both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. A great combo if you're looking for something satisfying. I had a very uncomfortable experience a busser by the name of Mason would not stop staring at my daughter (age 14), and when confronted about it he denied any sort of actions. So I told him if he did not want to admit his wrongs he would end up on yelps review page for his place of business. So here it is, and all the men who work there are just such creeps and stare at girls of any age, they all seem so desperate and horny to get with girls. Wouldnt recommend eating there unless you're a man who hates women. read more

Wow! My husband and I did our Christmas shopping in the Empire Center and then headed to Outback for some Down Under deliciousness. We had the kings land pasta and blooming burger. The bartenders who took care of us were very attentive even during what was clearly a huge rush. They even asked us what our New Year's resolutions were. I guess I'm not the only one complaining about the quality of food here. Was here 2 weeks ago and has a chicken and it was decent at best. It was tough and rubbery, I'm pretty sure it was old since people really come here to eat steak. The veggies were okay but the other plates that were ordered were just fair. My review won't stop people from coming here since the wait here is always a long one. I don't like that it's so dark, i always crash it things, people. read more
