Outback has been going downhill for a while, this outback has now reached the bottom of that hill in my opinion. The Cesar salad I ordered to come first arrived at my table only after my main meal and after I mentioned to the server that it seemed it had been forgotten. If I had to describe the taste think of the way old sweat socks smell and translate that to taste. The manager seemed to care less, she walked past me and asked how everything was tasting and when I mentioned that I hadn't received my salad she made a comment that it wasn't a dessert and walked off. The outside of the steak was burned and the inside was over cooked and not close to the medium rare I asked for. The broccoli was Luke warm at best. The best thing about the meal was the mashed potatoes and they were just ok. All I'm all a lousy experience and I will not be back. Generally I love Outback because it serves tasty steak which is really affordable if you like eating steak often - which I do. I had a disappointing evening recently due to bad service but the manager made it good in the end - although this wasn't forthcoming. It is kinda hit and miss at this place - sometimes you get a fresh potato and sometimes not, sometimes your rib-eye has too much fat and sometimes not. Always - you get a nice cold beer and usually it's friendly service here so I would give this place a 4. If it is a steak that you want you can't go wrong - for this price. I celebrated my birthday by bringing my family here. It was our first time trying it and I'd say it was worth it. I love how our server was always there to help us whenever we needed. The environment and the ambiance is nice - not super fancy, but classy. I ordered Baby Back Ribs and I wasn't disappointed. The serving size is enormous - definitely worth it! This is a national chain restaurant. So it will never be my favorite place to go. I typically avoid national chain restaurants when I can because I grew up in a place that ONLY had national chain restaurants and, like, a bakery. But my boyfriend loves them because he grew up in a place that didn't have any of these national/international chain restaurants (another country). Needless to say, I've been to them more in the past year than I have in the previous decade I've lived in LA combined. Yikes. That being said, this Outback isn't bad. I used to love the blooming onion as a kid and Outback was always a special treat for my family because we had to drive a little further to get to it. Now that I have a super fun medical dietary requirement, I couldn't enjoy the blooming onion BUT they actually have a good gluten free menu and an take it pretty seriously. I was able to choose from a plethora of options and next time might even try their GF pecan brownie (but I hear the whipped topping is not GF anymore). I had the salmon and veggies and it was really good. Cooked perfectly. I added a side of mashed potatoes because I will never pass up restaurant potatoes. My bf got a creamy pasta dish that included shrimp but I can't remember the actual name of it. He really liked it and now I know for sure we will be back for dinner before too long. The service was quick and friendly. My dirty grey goose martini was perfect and his cocktail and beer were both refreshing. We both left full, happy and a little tipsy... which is fine in this location. We were able to sober up while shopping at Best Buy and Nordstrom Rack :D read more

For a chain this place stacks in not so bad at all! The people seem to care, the service was exceptional. The place is a great spot to take kids as they seem amused by the gaming devices on the table and I could eat my food at a warm temperature because of this. The food was way better then what I thought it was going to be but I only got an onion soup and a salad. Pleasantly surprised. Not bad outback, not too bad.... Today, was my mother's 70th birthday and when she realized that Outback had a curbside option, it made her day. Had I known what our experience was going to be like, I would have gone into the stores and purchased all the food necessary to make her a steak lunch myself! She and my dad ordered a sirloin steak, to share. The first bite my mother got, she had to spit out. The fat hadn't been seared off properly and even though she'd ordered it well done, it was dry as leather and burned. She wound up giving her half back to my father! He had to spit out a few bites as well. My sister had ordered the fillet mignon cooked to a medium-well, which she didn't get. Hers was well done, but since it's a fillet mignon, it's much more forgiving than sirloin. My sister gave her fillet to my mother, so she could have steak for her birthday. The fries she ordered were so greasy and soggy and that we threw them out into our garden to compost into fertilizer! I ordered my burger, medium well, but guess what? It was well-done and it was burned black on one side and pale gray on the other. For the first time in 30 years, my parents actually picked up the phone to make a complaint. They NEVER complain about their food. The person they talked to, was sympathetic and asked them to hang onto receipt, that there would be credit coming to them after that experience. I honestly think this steakhouse needs more stars. Out of all of my experiences going here the food exceeded my expectations to the point where I knew this was a safe place to eat for a steakhouse. They also have a little tablet filled with games to keep the little ones busy but I wish that was an option available to the parents if they want the distraction at their table. The staff is always wanting for their customers to leave with a full stomach and they never disappoint. Avoid ! Awful experience! When we came the restaurant had only few customers but lot's of dirty table, and nobody seemed to care. It took a very long time to get our hamburgers. The hamburgers were very lousy and cold. I dropped my napkin on the floor and I asked several times for another one and never got one. Finally I was brought some paper towels from the restroom. Restroom was disgusting. It looked like it has been remodeled since it was open. You have so many choices of really great restaurants, choose something else! Let me preface by saying this. My wife and I have been to this Outback over a dozen times. We order almost the same thing every time. A Bloomin Onion, Alice Springs quesadilla, and loaded baked potato soup. We were super excited to find that we could actually get delivery from a service like Postmates. Just received a call from the delivery person saying that they don't carry the quesadilla anymore. This would be all fine and good, but their website and Postmates website both still have them as available. Apparently this menu change happened over a month ago. Now I know this is not the fault of the staff or possibly even management, but you're a national food chain, how hard is it to update your stuff online? PS Outback Steakhouse still has the Alice Springs Chicken entree, which is basically the quesadilla without a tortilla. I've been coming here for years. This is my favorite restaurant chain but this location isn't what it used to be. When you order curbside pick up please check your entire order before leaving a $13 tip lol This time they forgot all condiments i.e. the mustard sauce for the Alice Springs Chicken, dressing for our salads, no butter for our bread. When we ordered over the phone, we asked for 3 loaves of bread. We even paid extra for the bread to guarantee that there wouldn't be a problem and they still gave us 1. We let her know that we paid for the extra bread and she had to check our receipt before getting it for us lol she never gave us the receipt back so I couldn't get her name, but it was a girl with black hair working curbside Sunday March 5, 2023 at 8 pm if the management is interested enough in checking the cameras lol we had to park in a handicap parking spot because someone double parked next to it and there was no way to get in. Went in at 4:00pm and were seated immediately. Plenty servers all standing around talking and laughing. A guy came and threw down the bread without saying a word. Great steaks and everything else! No wonder these guys are ZAGAT rated #1. They have some of the best food and customer service for the price you pay. Everytime I order the prime rib, rib eye or New York strip or filet mignon, I get it cooked medium rare and they always get it right. My wife always gets her steaks cooked medium well done and they always get it right. The salads and appetizers are consistently delicious. Parking is easy here and we never had to wait more than 5mins for a table. I'd come back and eat here everyday if i could afford it...financially and health wise! read more
