Had food doordashed. They left out post of the order and didn't send any eating utensils! How am I supposed to eat this...

I personally am in management so I get we can NOT compromise everyone. We originally called for a party of 10 (NEVER were told they don't "typically" accommodate parties over 8). they are a very small facility so I understand first hand policy and procedures. We get there and are already told we would be split up into two separate booths not even facing each other. Poor planning in that department for sure. Along the middle is a straight booth with tables that could have EASILY accommodated our party. Now even giving them some give...we ended up having 14 people vs 10 and pretty much were told either 4 of you have to sit completely apart from your party OR we can't assist you tonight. Interesting. So we get the booth that is BACK TO BACK (can't even see the other part of our group) and we were separated. We were VERY willing to wait for another area to open up to have our group together. The facility is beautiful. The food was great. Our waitress was darling! But the little smiling overjoyed lady walking around in the blue as well as the front staff Quit frankly suck at their job and obviously need more pointers on planning, preparing and accommodation. Also next time someone calls with a party of ten maybe inform the caller you don't accommodate anything over a party of 8. The food was pretty good. I ordered a steak which was the 8 oz center sirloin, the Caesar salad and mashed potatoes. Overall the location was very quiet. We were seated by the bar in a booth and could see our waitress while eating. The wait time was a little high but expected on a Saturday night. The food was pretty good. The salad overall came out before any of the other food so it helped limit my carb intake. I didn't eat as my bread (due to my diet but I did cheat with mashed potatoes)! The mashed potatoes were on the salty side. I thought they were good just very salty. The steak was supposed to be cooked medium but was more on the medium-well side unfortunately. Went to this location for Mother's Day dinner. This was my first Mother's Day, so I was really excited. We ordered an appetizer (some sort of steak/cheese dip, can't remember the exact name) and it was swimming in grease. We tried to soak some of it out with napkins, but it didn't help much. My partner and I both got steaks (filet mignon and porterhouse) and both ordered medium rare, but of course they both came out wrong. My steak was medium/medium well, but my partners was extremely well done, so he sent his back. They brought him a new one that was completely raw, so he sent it back again, and this time, each bite of the steak was cooked differently. One side was completely overcooked, another raw, etc. He got about three bites that were medium rare (which is what he ordered). We also ordered a kids Mac n cheese and vegetables for my daughter. Vegetables were fine but the "Mac n cheese" tasted like buttered noodles with absolutely no cheese. Manager and server were both nice, so we appreciated that. However, we were a little upset that they wouldn't give us at least a discount for the mess ups. Wouldn't recommend going to this location. read more

This location is worn out. We visited this location a few weeks ago and was disgusted with the cleanliness, we started in the bar as we waited for an open table ordered 2 draft domestic beers from the bartender who seemed bothered we were there! After our lukewarm beers and looking around we left, the bar was sticky and the service was less than inviting, no need to stay there are other options. This is just sad. read more

Curbside Carryout order on 3/22/21. Two rib dinners with sides of potato and salad. Ribs were absolutely excellent. Fall off the bone and meaty. 3 stars because salads were a big disappointment. We decided to stop here as there aren't many of them located in Columbus anymore. The last time I visited this restaurant chain I ordered a steak and wasn't too impressed with it so I opted for seafood this time. It was good..wasn't amazing but wasn't bad either . Came with crab cakes (and homemade tarter sauce which was pretty good), shrimp stuffed with lobster stuff and a lobster tail. I've had better seafood but it was good. I was full and had leftovers. Two stars because we had to wait 15 minutes for anyone to notice us and seat us (we came in around 2pm..no one was in front of us and plenty of tables). The bartender saw us waiting and did nothing . Ordered online to-go. I was so disappointed and irritated. Victoria's Filet and Lobster - asked for medium rare and it was well done. Lobster was super dry (I know seafood isn't their specialty but I've had better lobster tail from outback plenty of times.) Aussie Fries - Paid EXTRA for more cheese and bacon and got less than what we normally would get on them. Side of macaroni - so dry, luke warm, and some shredded cheese wasn't even melted. Potato - barely got any of the toppings but I even accounted for that by asking for an extra ramekin of it online (didn't get the extra) Side of shrimp on the Barbie - dry as if overcooked and cold Mushrooms - were the best thing we ate Chicken sandwich - husband said it's was cool he was suppose to get side of Parmesan creamer spinach but they put rice in there. Luckily I checked that before I left and got that fixed. Honestly overall just very disappointed. I was in last week and had a rough experience. We were sat near the back away from everyone and in a hidden spot. We waited about 10 minutes before we were waited on. I ordered the streak and shrimp pasta, the pasta tastes very slimy. My steak looked nothing like the picture and looked burnt. The taste was very dry. The biggest Suprise for me was the price.... Love, love, love the steaks at Outback! Especially the fillet mignon. I also like the tangy tomato (French) dressing on the salad and the baked potato with butter. Well had an interesting evening. All 5 of us ordered Filet and Lobster tail. The service was late to even great us at the table. Then when we finally got service, dinner took over 45 minutes to come out and our waiter never stopped by during that time to say our ordered was misplaced or that anything went wrong causing the delay. On top of it one steak was under cooked and mine was over cooked. The one undercooked came back looking exactly the same and mine went from a filet to a sirloin. Mine was cooked perfectly, but they gave me a discount but had given me a cheaper cut like I would not notice. I am never more frustrated then when they mess up your meal and not everyone gets to eat together and then the fail to remove the individuals meal from the check. So, the food was less than perfect and the server was the same. Pleasant but.... and lastly our drinks were never once refilled. Vey disappointing. So from two experiences: The first was me and my Fiancé decided to try there new delivery service. The food was fine but it was 20 minutes late and a bit cold. They gave us these Curtsy 10$ next purchase coupons. It was a Friday night so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and with our us asking they tried to fix it... the second one I went in by myself to sit down and eat. Everything was good up until my mash potatoes witch were cold as ice and I asked to get a new side and it came out only slightly warm but still cold in the middle. At that point I gave up on the potatoes. But I will say my server Madalyn was a great server she was friendly and attentive my drink never was empty. Bad Customer Service In april i did a pick up for dinner steak and ribs it was my second time doing a pick up for the same dish. The ribs on my first order were dry rub the steak was med done the meal was great so i decided to order the same meal a few weeks later. I asked for the same dry rub instead i got the ribs with sauce on it . i called back and spoke with the manager and was told they would seen me a coupon in the mail as a Courtesy. well i never got it so i called again and spoke to another manager who said he would check on it (because it was not listed in the book) and call me back. Well he never did. The meals were tasty and i really enjoyed them but the service is lacking when you are told one thing and it never happens i was very unhappy with the customer service . If you have issue with your carryout i suggest you take it back instead of waiting for a coupon in the mail. read more

Typically when I get Outback food, I choose the Alice Springs Chicken. It's delicious. Well, today I didn't feel too great so the hubs offered to get me a steak on the way home from work. My first mistake was to let him get it from Outback (their steaks ain't shit). When I want a juicy steak I go to Texas Roadhouse (TRUTH). Ugh! This Outback ribeye was fatty, flavorless, cooked more rare than medium... the dog loved it. $21.99 for me to be more annoyed than usual. So, yeah... Outback is just ok. ESPECIALLY if I send it back the first time, and the replacement comes out overcooked again. My boyfriends mom decided to take us to outback for dinner, it's one of my boyfriends go-to restaurants. We ordered our steaks - my boyfriend and I both get a ribeye medium rare like we always do and his mom orders her steak well done... When our steaks come out and my bf and I cut into ours, both of ours were clearly over cooked. My bf knowing me, can tell Im not happy with mine.. I'd honestly rather not have steak at all than have an over cooked steak. Finally, after my bf is halfway done with his steak our waitress asks us how everything is. I didn't want to be rude since his mom was treating us but they laughed and looked at me so I asked her how long it would take to get a new steak, and she said not long at all so she took it back. 5 minutes later she asks for the steak back to show it to the cooks I'm assuming. And then after about 5 more minutes and everyone is finished with their meals a new steak was brought to me from who I'm assuming who was the manager. He then asks me to cut into the steak while he stands there awkwardly. My steak AGAIN was undercooked! I couldn't believe it. I almost laughed. If a steak is sent back wouldn't you make SURE that it was cooked to the correct temperature this time? I told him it "was better" but I didn't send it back again because I didn't want to seem unappreciative in front of my bf's mom and clearly waste my time.. Also - both steaks were extremely salty and very tough. Not like the typical ribeyes I usually get even if they are over cooked. Also - I don't understand their "call ahead seating". What is the point? I live right across the street from this location, so I called and they told me I could do call ahead seating for 3 people at 645 but it would be a 25 minute wait - so I said ok let's make it 7 then so we won't have to wait as long at the restaurant, and he said well it will be even busier by then. So why even bother with call ahead seating if you're going to have to wait almost 30 minutes no matter what time you show up? Why do I need to wait 25 minutes at the restaurant when they could just put our names down after calling and allow us to show up at the time they have available? It doesn't make any sense to me. Oh.. and the funniest part... When I went to check in with the host to let her know we arrived they apparently didn't even have us on the call ahead list and had to add us right then and there! The giant crowds and 30+ minute wait for a table on a weekend evening is not worth it. This is embarrassing how bad this was. I've gone to Outback many times in the past and had a decent experience, but this time will probably be the last unfortunately. read more

The medium rare I ordered came out medium. It was a cheap cut with a large area of gristle and extra wide thickness at the bone increasingly thinner towards the edge of the steak. The side salad was crispy and had nice ingredients. The Bloomin' Onion was in a pool of grease. It should have been drained better. The grease encapsulated about an inch of the onion bottom. The top was crispy enough, but the onion pieces didn't pull off easily due to the greasy bottom part. The curbside take out was excellent. The items were well packed and ready at the exact time promised. The OK review is especially for the steak CUT and the lack of draining for the Bloomin' Onion. The worst experience since ever coming to this location. My mom and I ordered the steak and chicken combo with baked potatoes one fully loaded and one with butter. I added the Tasmanian Chilli also. When the food came to the table the ONLY thing hot was the steak. The cheese in the potato or the Chilli wouldn't melt because it was lukewarm. When I told the waiter his response was it was hot when I brought it it's not going to get any hotter than that. He was unavailable for at least 10 minutes while we waited for him to come check on us. The manager brought out our potatoes which this time were COLD. The Chilli must have been microwaved because it was piping hot. The manager had a nonchalant attitude and credited my bill $10. My first choice was to go to Texas Roadhouse but decided that outback has always been spot on. Texas Roadhouse will now be my first choice always. read more

The special with unlimited shrimp is a great add to your entree. However, the lobster rail was perfect! Outback had made menu changes and it seems to get better each time! They have quite a few new menu items and drink specials starting at $4 (that's not the happy hour price). It was definitely worth a try! Well, they sort of take reservations, or a spot in line, or something. We arrived at our appointed time, 6:45, and were told "we are on a 30 minute wait, but your wait will only be 15 minutes". Huh? Ok, well we went to the bar for a while. We finished our drinks and the bartender asked if we wanted another. It had been 30 minutes at this point so we said we were waiting on a table and she said she'd check on it. She came back with a weird look and said we'd be seated right away. Our pager never went off, but it was pretty obvious that we had been skipped since people that came in after us had been seated. No apology, no explanation. That's what costs the star. I don't expect everything to be perfect, but when it's wrong, own up to it and make sure that I'm not ticked off. The food here is really a very good value. If you can handle sub professional service (my name is not "boss") other diners in undershirts and sweatpants, it's really not a bad place for a casual steak at a good price. read more

We stopped by here after a visit to the nearby Tuesday Morning outlet. Not knowing what restaurants were nearby, we chose a familiar chain. We started with the ahi tuna appetizer, which was excellent. For entrees, my husband had a rib eye and I had a pasta dish with chicken. Both dishes were better than average and the service was prompt and pleasant. My experience with Outback is that they provide consistently good food and service. Went here for dinner for the first time in awhile and realized how much I missed this establishment! Caedance was our server and she was so sweet and friendly our entire visit. She knew everything down to a tee on the drink menu and food menu, had a great sense of humor, and was refreshingly down to earth. She was on top of our drinks and had wonderful recommendations. I got a margarita flight, it had the usual marg, black cherry, mango, and watermelon flavors. I liked the mango and watermelon margs the best. We also got the friend Mac and cheese bites as an appetizer. I've had Mac and cheese bites multiple places and these were by far my favorite. Super crunchy, not greasy, and nice and cheesey. For my entree I got grilled chicken with grilled veggies and a Caesar salad. It was so good I ate the leftovers for lunch the next day. The service was great and the restaurant was clean with a nice, upbeat vibe for lunch! Service was not real fast but the advertised lunch entrees did meet the timeframe advertised. We ordered one lunch meal from that menu and it was good and came out one time! I ordered the traditional wings and they were among the best that I've had anywhere! They were very fresh, hot, seasoned just right and very good! I was very impressed with the wings! The salad was good and fresh as well! The burger was a good size and enjoyed as well! It's nice that they provide the wheat bread and butter in plenty, as requested. We like the honey butter which can be requested rather than the regular butter. The bread is fresh and tasty! my mother turned 68 today, and 26 of her closest friends and family decided to celebrate with her at outback. if she weren't my mother, i would not have gone. i traditionally avoid dining with large groups like the plague. the service is usually bad and inevitably someone in the party complains about something ridiculous. we had a reservation and arrived about 5 minutes early. we were seated within 10 minutes. we were promptly greeted by our servers. i cant say enough good about the way matthew managed our party. he was outgoing, fast, attentive, efficient.. matthew possessed every quality i want in a server. matthew is making me think twice about dining with large groups. the food was good.. not great. but our overall experience outweighed others we've had at much finer establishments. sorry for yelling, my caps lock is stuck... but honestly, matthew is worth yelling about. . give them a chance. you'll be glad you did. read more
