Hey I love this Outback. It's not that crowded, which is good for me but not so good for Outback, but the food is fresh, grilled perfectly and the people are so nice. I haven't been to an Outback Restaurant in a very long time, but I have to say that my meal tonight was a delicious reminder of how good a chain steakhouse can be. By far the best item on the menu is the Ahi Tuna appetizer. The tuna was so fresh and perfectly prepared that I can assure you that there isn't a restaurant including Japanese sushi places, that could prepare this Tuna appetizer any better. It is a definite must have! Salad was good and my steamed mixed veggies side was ok, although overcooked. And my T-Bone steak was huge (enough for 2 meals). Service was friendly and wait times were short. all in all, a very enjoyable good meal and experience for my first time back to an Outback in several years. TERRIBLE! We ordered delivery early on a Thursday night ($4 extra for delivery not including the tip). First - The food was 50 minutes late. I called the restaurant after our food was 20 minutes. I spoke with a lady manager (forgot her name) but she wasn't friendly at all and said she would credit my card back for the wings only. I mentioned to her I DO NOT want cold food and out of a courtesy to the customer a phone call would be great if the driver is running late. What is the purpose of stating a time online and the food is not delivered late. Finally, 50 minutes later the driver arrived. The food was luke warm. I called the restaurant again and spoke with another (guy) manager who stated he would send us a gift-card for the inconvenience. Pretty good service. Had the sirloin steak and shrimp; tasted great. Steak was cooked perfectly. Only complaint is the lemonade. Their "regular" yellow lemonade tasted terrible, and the pink lemonade was not much better. Other than that pretty good. read more

I took my mother to outback last weekend for her 75th birthday. She loves this place; but I have no idea why? Every special occasion she always request to go to this specific restaurant every year. As a family we spend over $1,000 every year to meet her request. The food was absolutely terrible on this last birthday dinner. The appetizers were horrible. The wings were under cooked, almost raw and soaking in grease. The coconut shrimps were over cooked and pretty much burned. See the pictures I provided. Also, I paid more for a salad upgrade and received a downgrade. I requested the blue cheese pecan salad and was served lettuce, carrots and shredded purple cabbage, no cheese, no blue cheese, no onions, no tomatoes and no other extras as seen on the menu. Mom ordered ribs, Mac and cheese; I ordered chicken breast and a baked potato. I cancelled my order after the poor appetizers, horrible salad and the cold soup. The manager was pretty concerned and tried to make things right. The appetizers were reordered and just so so in the end. I refused another salad after seeing how the reordered appetizers turned out. I strongly believe that the issue was the cook and he should have been monitored closer. My mom was sick before I could get back to Atlanta and then I was vomiting all night. We both ate the reordered appetizers which probably was the issue. I strongly caution anyone from eating any reorders, just pass and take the check credit. It doesn't get better and later is when you might feel the difference. This is only my opinion based on what happened to me. I was so embarrassed because I tried to make this a special 75th birthday for my mom. She ended up sick and tired for her 75th birthday. Hopefully, I can make it up to her on Mother's Day. My task is to figure out how to convince her to dine at another restaurant after so many years of Outback Steakhouse. This experience was the worse that we have had at Outback. read more

I've had some decent experiences at outback.. this place was bad, even for a chain. Service was confused and lacking. The steak was tough. I was never checked on by anyone,, not asked how the food was, which I would have described as cafeteria quality. Also, you may want to do something about the quite obviously very angry guy parked in the middle of your bar.. read more

Visit wasn't bad. Our server was friendly, food was halfway decent. I think our server must've forgotten about us halfway through the meal because she did disappear but other than that she was nice. Our food came our room temperature, and I thought it was a little pricey for what you get. May or may not return to this location. read more

The only reason this gets a 1 star is because of our server. She wasn't an exceptional server but that was because she seemed a bit beleaguered. We accidentally spilled a soda at our table, which was 10 feet from the hostess station and none of the 4 hostesses/servers that seemed to be holding it up noticed. Someone at our table had to ask for napkins. One of them handed him a stack and that was the extent of their assistance. There was still soda and ice cubes under the table when we left. One of us got the steak and endless fried shrimp, with the steak done medium. The steak was nearly raw and the shrimp were also. They were slightly bigger than shrimp you'd put in shrimp salad but not by much. The breading was done but the shrimp were cold and rubbery. I ordered the ribeye medium/well. It came out rare. The only flavor to the steak that I could taste was overwhelmingly black pepper. It drowned out every other flavor. It was also prevalent in the side Caesar salad. We got a Blooming Onion as an appetizer. This is usually a favorite of ours when we've had them at other Outbacks, and they generally are served at the same temperature as molten lava and you wait for them to cool. Not this one. It was barely warm, much less hot, and it was wilted looking and extremely greasy. We usually enjoy going to the Outback in other locations, but I would definitely skip the one in Conyers. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE. KEEP YOU MONEY AND PEACE OF MIND. I visited outback on October 18,2015. Me and wife arrive at 6 pm. We was told it would be 15 minutes wait time. We sat down and waited. the place started to get crowed. I ask the greeter could we sat at a empty table . We was told that two servers was on break. I was told if they let us sat there people tend to want a free meal and complain about the server taking long to come to the table. I told the young girl , that neither me or my wife wanted anything free. I felt insulted and wanted to leave. My wife wanted to eat there so I stayed. Once we sat back down, two other workers came up to her and she begin talking to them about me asking about wanting to sat at the table. Both of the coworkers looked at me and didn't say anything to me. One of the others lady came over and ask us did we want to sat in the bar area , we agreed. Once she took us and seated us. She said she had to clean the table. She sprayed chemicals on the table and misted me and my wife. I was ticked off. I held my temper , because my wife wanted dinner there. She should have cleaned it before seating us. She needs training. While sitting at table. Another family come an and tells greeter , there table needs to be cleaned and she got an attitude and was dropping stuff on the floor. We experience three other customers with similar issues. My wife ordered a full rack of ribs.( $19.79) I ordered a ribeye sandwich ($ 12.79) . once The Server for our table was great. She did an outstanding job attending to us. Once my wife food arrive. The full rack of rib came with one side item. Once looking a her platter , I notice that a portion was missing. I ask to speak with someone in charge. A male manager came and spoke with me. I ask him why was a piece of the rack was cut. He explain to me it wasn't. I am not blind or stupid. I showed him that the was no sauce and you could clearer see some was missing. He then told me , they don't come in full rack but by, full portion. He then changed and said they are served by the ounces. He did not know what he was talking about. I ask for a menu and showed him. He then asked did I want the other portion of ribs. I paid for them why would you ask. This is a lack of management. The manger wanted to go back and forth with me. If you pay almost twenty dollar for a meal , it can at least come with two side items. Once I got my ribeye sandwich I had enough and got a take out tray and left. My wife enjoy her food once getting home. I just ate my sandwich for lunch. It was ok .I will not be coming back after this Sunday visited. I was disappointed in the greeters but not my server. The management from Sunday October 18,2015 was lacking. This place will never get my money again. To whomever eat here , keep your money and go somewhere else. To the young slim greeter. They always mess up on the wings! It's like dry rubs which is not how Outback wings are supposed to be like! I've ordered wings from Outback all over the country and this is the worst location. The wings are always too small and it's made like a dry rub, no juiciness to the wings at all. I've been disappointed every time I order the wings here! It's sad to live close to one of my favorite restaurant and I don't even go there anymore. They need to check the recipe for this location and compare it to their other restaurants, it's not the same. The Conyers Outback is our local steakhouse so we try to patronize it. The only certainty this restaurant offers is the inconsistent service and quality of their food. When they are good (seldom) they are good. When they are bad (often) they are horrendous. I have tried contacting the manager, Cassandra Nix, and she offers great lip service and excuses regarding all issues, but the problems continue... In the past this restaurant has ruined family outings, served well-done steaks when "medium" was ordered (this is a recurring event) and will seat people ahead of you in line. We dine at other Outback restaurants when we travel and do not encounter problems like this one serves. read more

Went to Outback in Conyers yesterday after church; our party quickly increased from a party of 2 to a party of 16. We were told it would be an 1 1/2 wait, so we said okay. It eventually ended up being 2 hours, at that point the staff scrambled to seat us in smaller group however a large group left so we were able to sit together. You would think at this point we would have started complaining but we didn't (well not a lot lol). Once we were seated we had the best server, her name was Leeann and she took great care of us! Meant to review sooner but forgot. My husband took me here for my birthday on 11/3 for my birthday. They had a steak and shrimp stack special on a bed of hash browns that we both ordered. Neither of us wanted the hash browns and they were not supposed to allow substitutions but they allowed us to get another side. When my meal came, the steak was overcooked. The server apologized and allowed me to keep my sides and then took the steak back for a new steak. The manager then came out, apologized again and asked if I would "mind" if they brought me a brand new plate with new sides once they recooked the steak. I absolutely did not mind. I continued eating my sides and when they brought the new plate, I was only able to eat 2 or 3 bites of the steak because I was already full. The manager came back to ensure that I was pleased with the new plate. The steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. I basically had 2 entire meals to take home. I also received a free dessert for my birthday. Then the icing on this experience was that the manager did not charge us for my meal. Since the Conyer's Longhorns has been a disappointment the last few visits, we will definitely be visiting Outback more often. read more

Food was consistent with other outbacks I've been to. Steak came out far too rare but they were quick to fix it and brought an extra baked potato. Everything is a little heavy on the salt, but that may just be a general outback complaint. Rating based in comparison to outbacks. read more

I have been to a few Outbacks in the past, so I can easily say that this specific location is by far the worst one. When we first sat down, it took fifteen minutes before our waitress greeted us and took our drink order. After we got our drinks, we quickly realized that our waitress had a horrible attitude. She was very unfriendly and you could tell that she did not want to be serving us. But this experience only gets worse. She took back our order and we waited (during this time, she did not check on us once, ask if we wanted more bread, or drink refills) Once our food had finally arrived she put it on the table and walked away. My boyfriend unrolled his silverware and it was completely dirty with food stains on it. We didn't make a big deal out of it because we had extra and we were just ready to eat. But taking one look at the steak, I realized it was not the medium cooked steak that I had ordered. It was practically burnt on the outside, while the inside was brown and tough with no pink in it at all. So we told our server, and she said she would fix the issue. Fast forward to when my second steak comes out. This time the cook brings it to our table, and asks us to cut into it to make sure it looked okay (which should be proper procedure at any steakhouse). This time the steak was totally red, blood oozing out of it; like it hadn't even been cooked. At this point, I was starving, and I felt really bad because we normally don't like to make a fuss at restaurants. But we sent it back because it just didn't even look edible and that would be a waste of our money. I will say that the only thing that might have saved our experience here was the cook. She was very generous and apologetic; even offering to box our food up for us. Overall, I feel like if we had a better server this experience wouldn't have been half as bad. Your server really can make or break you experience, so I definitely think this location should take a better look at the people they're hiring. I'm a former employee at outback (a different location) and I know from experience that there were so many mistakes here and protocols that were not followed. With that being said, I would not recommend wasting your time and money on this place. read more

Had to eat at the bar because it was crowded. Didn't mind that, but the service was poor. The steak and salad was good, but I noticed that the person next to me who had ordered basically the same thing as I had, received bread along with the salad. When I questioned the bar tender who had took my order she said I should have received bread, but just shrugged her shoulder and made no attempt to rectify. read more

After an unpleasant incident at Smokey Bones in Lithonia we left there and went to this restaurant. By the time we got there we was a little heated but they heard our story and treated us great. Take out review: I tried twice to order and pick up food from the Outback in Conyers, Ga. When I walked in the door (take-out side) several waiters looked directly at me and ignored me (this included the guy who is supposed to prepare the take out orders).... No one said "may I help you." The store was ran fantastic and the workers was Pleasant ,and they still are. I recently came into town for the weekend to enjoy a dinner with a few friends. I did not like how one of your managers was talking to the host . She talks to them like stupid peasants and worthless slaves.she had an Indescribable sour attitude but it defiantly was not "outback attitude " y'all advertise . Only wish I could remember the waitress's name. As great a service as I have ever had. We noticed other people came in and asked specifically for her. Slightly plump black woman that had moved to this Outback about 7-8 months ago. We called for the manager to come out so we could tell him how pleased we were with her and the food. My wife and I met another couple at the Conyers OutBack Saturday night for dinner. Very disappointed. The service was very slow, my guest complained to me how long it took to get bottled beer from the bar. We had to make repeated request for water refills and then she only fills one glass, why not refill all? Orders not correct, ever the salad order was not correct. Staff was in no hurry to make corrections. I had to wait for salt to prepare my bake potato (no salt on the table), during which my steak became cool and later discovered under cooked. However, our sever nor anyone from management ever came to the table to ask how we were enjoying our food. The bathrooms were dirty and when my wife and her guest complained to a hostess, she was told to have a nice night, complete and udder indifference. Very disappointing, will avoid this place. I went a couple weeks ago with a friend and i was NOT impressed. That was actually my first time going to Outback period but he had been to another before hand. The service of just okay. Our waiter was nice but he didn't seem to know what was good on the menu when I asked him what he would recommend. He could not give me a straight answer and I don't know if it was because he hadn't tried most of the items yet or if he just didn't want to admit that he'd eat elsewhere. I ordered the lamb and it wasn't tender like I'd expect lamb to be for it to be medium well, nor was the flavor that great and the sauce didn't help to blend the flavors together at all. The garlic mashed potatoes that came with it tasted like something I would cook at home halfheartedly, if not worse. And my friend steak that he ordered (some type of sampler where he had 3 sirloin pieces with 3 different sauces) and the steaks were much smaller than anticipated and his steak sauces did not have a wow factor whatsoever. Overall we enjoyed the experience the most when all we had was the bread which wasn't very flavorful even with the butter so that's not saying much. I would not recommend this Outback to anyone. read more
