We came in about an hour before closing to get some dinner. I ordered a dinner salad with ranch dressing. The salad was fresh and had plenty of ranch dressing on it. We shared a combination plate that came with ribs and chicken as well as fries. The ribs were really tender and flavorful. The chicken was a bit dry, but had good flavor. The fries were cooked and seasoned really well. To top it off, we had the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under, which is a warm brownie with ice cream, whip cream and chocolate syrup on top. Every part of the dessert (especially the brownie) was great. Overall, the service was good and we didn't feel rushed (despite it being near closing time). I'll definitely come back. read more

One with dine in with terrible service where we had to look for a server to help us, one at take out where they screwed up the order, and now for delivery where after waiting 40minutes the postmates delivery driver called to say sorry, they don't have prime rib tonight. My husband and I use this place as we are renovating our home, since it's just a couple blocks away. They generally get our orders right. And sometimes the presentation is just not there for our take away, looks like they threw everything in a box and shook it. But it tastes the same when you are tired and can't cook. My biggest issue is that when I get emails about specials on wings (my husbands go to food) they generally refuse to honor it. So we could drive 2 towns over and get it but not the one just up the street. And it's sporadic about when the honor wing specials or don't. Like we have to talk to the right person or something. We arrived shortly before 7pm this evening, we placed our name on the list and visited the restroom, walking past and empty four top table. After a 40 minute wait, we were seated at that same empty four top table, by the restrooms after walking past an empty four top booth. We had menus and drink lists but nothing else. We conversed amongst ourselves and waited 20 minutes before we finally asked a waiter from an adjoining table if he was the waiter for our table. He stated no, that "Caitlin" was our waitress and he called for her. She then came over and said "Sorry I didn't see you because you're in the corner." When we replied we'd only waited 20 minutes for a waitress and 40 minutes for a table that had been open the whole time she got rude and "snippy". We ordered water and bar beverages and 10 minutes later received our bread and then five later our water arrived, still no silverware or napkins. I got up to find napkins and even went into the waitress station and no luck and no help offered either. Returning to the table, hungry and empty handed, the others have voted that after an hour and 10-15 minutes, it was time to leave because we still haven't seen our bar drinks nor our snotty waitress since. We finally left and told the young man who waited on the table next to us that we'd had enough and thanked him but we were leaving. Now at Blank Angus and only 10 minutes after sitting down, our drinks, bread, silverware, water have arrived and our food orders have been turned in. No more Outback for us!!! read more

This location lost the Outback handbook. The seared Ahi tuna was not made the same, the mashed potatoes were terrible. (and I have NEVER had them be bad at any other location) There was no garlic in them and it tasted like a gallon of milk was poured in them. Went there with my boyfriend. My food was good, but he ordered the steak with a baked potato on the side... the steak was so small and burnt, it was smaller than the potato!! It looked more like a big chicken nugget. My wife and I came to celebrate my new job. I haven't been here for a long time but it was just as good as I remember. I get the New York steak and frites with the chimichurri sauce. As my local steakhouse, I've been to this Outback nearly 100 times in the last last decade. As others have stated...with Outback, you generally know what you're getting yourself into. It may not be the best steak in town but for the most part it's consistent. I've only had to send a steak back once (due to it being such a bad cut), but the manager was really cool about it and made sure it was perfect in the end. The specials are a hit or miss...but can often lead to good deals on a few new menu items. I do suggest looking on the Website for coupons. We just happen to go online before we went down, only to find that a Outback sponsored race car driver had won a race and after a few secret words to the server, we got a free Bloomin Onion. Be sure to check for specials yourself before heading down. Overall, my experiences there have been above average...but not by much. The staff is pleasant enough, and you occasionally get a gem in the rough. On our last trip there, we actually had an Australian server...imagine that (all jokes aside, she made for one of the best Outback evenings me and my husband have had in a long time). The place is ALWAYS clean and the environment is always bustling. So if you can't handle an occasional noisy kid or loud bar clientele this may not been the best place for you. I'm choosing to give this place a 4. The overall experiences have been getting better in the recent months. Not sure if they are under new management or they've made some policy changes. I spent 60 dollars for dinner as take out for my husband and I. My husband ordered chicken which came with a tiny portion. He had a 1/3 rib add on which was burnt. I ordered the filet mignon and it lacked flavor and texture. I didn't receive very much dressing for my salad. If you order take out be sure to ask for the extras. They're not going to offer them. We didn't get forks or napkins and no steak sauce. It's literally the last time we go there. The price for the portions and the fact food was burnt sealed the deal. Management should work on the customer service and communication of their front of house staff. Front house staff was short, rude and not hospitable. Took 10 minutes for someone to greet us at our table and another 10 minutes for us to receive our drinks. Took another 15 minutes for our order to be taken. My husband ordered a medium rare steak. When I food finally arrive 40 minutes later, his steak was purple and cold in the middle. It didn't even look "rare". It looked raw. Took 20 minutes to "fix" this same steak. By that time the rest of the table had eaten their food. Ordered the Caesar salad which was drenched in dressing and could only eat half of it because the rest was soggy. Manager brought new steak and said sorry and asked if it was better. That was the extent of the customer service. We used to love going to Outback..it was always a treat for us. For the past year we have been super disappointed. Their quality has gone way down, portion size reduced, and the staff is not nearly as friendly. We were told it had improved, so we tried it again recently, but unfortunately, it was still as bad as our last visit. I hope that new management comes in and cleans it up. Nailed it!!! I really prefer to eat in, enjoy some cocktails, etc, so I was hesitant to order steaks to go. But it's Covid, whaddya gonna do. Well, dinner was absolutely perfect. We ordered our steaks rare so we could warm them up a bit once we got home (genius, I know, thank my husband). Once seared at home they were a perfect medium rare. But the ribeye quality was superb, the salads were lovely, and even my baked potato had a perfect little package of toppings.
