There food for the most part is consistent. My resent trip was a disappointment. I noticed that the prices of steaks have increased but the quality has gone down. They change $30.99 for the 13oz ribeye. You can buy a steak from the local stores for $11 - $14/lbs. You know they are buying wholesale so they are not paying consumers prices. Not good! read more

I completely understand this is a chain and not a high end steak house so I am reviewing it as such. After a long day of travel we decided to order this to go through door dash. First , the shark drink that was almost 7.00 was not with our order even though it was the first item listed on the ticket tapped to the bag. It was taken off our bill. However, staying in a hotel I would like to have had my drink. Both the restaraunt and the dasher should double check the order so missing items is inexcusable. The pasta was decent. The portion was large. The sauce was just ok, the shrimp was very over cooked, and the steak was shockingly tender and juicy. The ribeye was tough, the Mac n cheese was super dry and very bland tasting. The mashed potatoes were nothing to write home about. Maybe we caught them on a bad night or outback has lost its appeal over the years. We won't be back on our future trips through. read more

I would give this place 5 stars, but some of the fries were a bit undercooked, and it was about 95$ for 4 people + tip. The food was still pretty good, and the service was great. Also ordered medium well 18 oz bone in ribeye. The steaks were far from asked temp. Even absolute rawness on the ribeye which I've tossed in the trash before I could even get a picture. I am 5 months pregnant and undercooked meat is not on the menu. This has happened more than once. Why I've came back is a mistake. Great if you love steak this way you're in the right spot. The best server you will have in the whole city of Missoula. We came in for a small date night. We get sat in the bar area, and that's where we met Eden. He was suggestive but not pushy. We ordered a bloomin' onion, and when we were done, about half left, Eden returns, box in hand with SAUCE ALREADY THERE TO-GO and gave us a suggestion on how to re-crisp it in the oven since we don't have an air fryer. He also was bartending and made our drinks which were AMAZING. It's also the simple things, like refilling our water when glasses were getting low. I've always loved this Outback and know I can count on them for a great steak. This time was no exception. I was lucky enough to get there before the end of happy hour which meant extra wine, also not a bad thing. I ordered the Sirloin and Seafood Mixed Grill. My steak was delicious and it was great to have a little seafood on the side. I always love their salad and baked potatoes too. The service was good and I was very pleased with my overall meal and experience. My only frustration is that I wanted to use the Yelp Special that is clearly advertised for the meal I ordered. I was told that this location "isn't corporate" so the special doesn't apply due to the salad that was included. I would've ordered the same thing anyway and it was only an extra $2, just seems like "corporate" and the local stores should communicate better. I guess that's the challenge with large chains. After being on the road since 5am, and finally checking into a hotel we just needed somewhere to sit down, eat, and relax for a minute. In our city that doesn't sleep, we were at a crossroads finding everything was closed down here by 10. The hostess was super friendly, and our waitress was so sweet! They didn't make us feel rushed at all. We BOTH work customer service, and we know well the inconvenience of showing up 30 minutes before closing..
