So, like dummies we decided to give them another try. It was a simple take out order, nothing complicated. We got home and half of our order was missing. The chicken was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Totally inedible. And the price? Yikes. You would have thought we ordered from the world's greatest steakhouse. I honestly don't see how they are staying open just on their prices alone but you add in the low quality food and abysmal customer service and their doors should be boarded up. It's sad. Picture it. Valentine's two days after the rush. Light cried, dressed down, and doing the Valentine's special. Things we noticed... Our server was great! Kept the tea and DP going strong. The young man cleaning tables and carrying food out never stopped. He worked nonstop and did a terrific job. Our steaks were melt in your mouth gooooood. My broccoli was grilled to perfection. I took my son on his maiden voyage to the Outback and had to show him the works with the Bloomin' Onion and Jumbo Coconut Shrimp appetizers. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. He ordered ribs, fries, and bowl of chili. I just had the side salad. He didn't touch his ribs, just too full, but they were consumed for dinner. The waiter was the absolute best, watched her run around for about 40 minutes by herself before being able to help us. We ordered the 3 course meal and added on an extra dessert that ultimately costed extra. AFTER waiting another 30 minutes to get our food and AFTER paying then they come and tell us that the dessert we paid for was not in the building with us. We like going to outback as a simple date night, normally ordering salads, wings and shrimp only with a few cocktails. our waitress was good as always, but the kitchen staff that brought out our blue cheese chopped salads thought he had us snowed over with a house salad with reg blue cheese dressing on it (wasn't even chopped) when questioned he said we had to ask for the vinaigrette dressing. He kept on and on and we just went along with it. The bar tender thought she was friends with everyone and didn't know how to use her "inside voice" so the rest of the entire bar didn't have to hear the conversations. My husband even switched booth sides tomorrow his deaf ear to the bar! The rest of our food and service was good. Arrived at 11 am Barely greeted at the door, sodas were flat and tea was bitter, wanted the prime rib but were informed it wouldn't be available until 3 pm, ordered a blooming onion, came out drenched in grease, ordered the ribeye/ coconut shrimp combo and the steak was cooked to the correct temp but was bland and not seared properly almost looked steamed. Baked potato was ok but the Tasmanian shrimp pasta was by far the worst thing all night. The sauce was so off putting, hard to describe it's flavor, almost like something in it was spoiled, maybe the cheese, I don't know. I had others at the table taste it to ensure it wasn't me and everyone agreed both the salad and pasta were OFF. I hate that this experience was so unenjoyable. My wife and I stopped here for lunch after I was released from the hospital following back surgery on March 4. I hadn't had anything to eat since March 3 after 10 pm, so I was getting pretty hungry by March 5. We got to the North Little Rock location right after they opened at 11 am. We were seated quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer, which was well prepared and delicious. My wife ordered a petite sirloin with the vegetable medley. Her steak was a perfect medium rare, and the vegetables were okay but could have used a few more seconds of cooking. I ordered the Toowoomba Salmon, which is grilled and covered with a shrimp and mushroom creole sauce, served over a bed of seasoned rice, and I had the steamed broccoli. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was a good 6 ounce or so portion. The sauce was delicious and seasoned well. The broccoli was cooked perfectly as well. My only negative has to be the rice. While not cold, it was too cool for service. Everything else was hot, but putting a hot piece of salmon over cool rice is not good eats. It's like they had a big pot of pre-cooked rice that was warmer in some spots and cooler in other spots, and they hoped the salmon would bring the rice back up to serving temperature. Epic fail. My entree was a good dish overall, but the rice made it off-putting. We might be back, but I hope the rice temperature issue gets resolved. read more

While they didn't have room on the patio for me, I was seated inside and probably 15 feet away from the nearest table. I felt safe eating here during covid. Tyler was my server.
