Friendly staff and fantastic food! The steaks were delicious, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming.

I'm a sucker for a good steak but this was definitely not it. Showed up last week with a group of 4, it was pretty empty so we thought we would get seated pretty fast.. welp 15 minutes later I'm asking what the holdup is. The restaurant was decent looking, not the fanciest but the fish tanks along the back wall was pretty cool. This is located in a hotel so it's not very big. I ordered the ribeye and don't get me wrong, it was ok, but it wasn't purchasing worth it ok. It honestly tasted like the steaks my husband makes utilizing the basic steak seasoning. In addition I asked for medium rare and was surprised as to how rare it came out (I order steaks often and this was the first time it came out pretty rare). In addition I asked our server what came with it and she said nothing, everything is à la cart so I ordered a side of mashed potatoes and squash.. welp, the food ended up coming with carrots, so I was disappointed because I would not have ordered any sides if that was the case (this was the case for all of us). The mash potatoes ended up coming out with a pool of butter in the middle and around it (again, the case for all of us). I chose not to eat it for that reason. read more

The restaurant was amazing! First of all the staff was awesome. Our server Alex was friendly, polite, and attentive. His service was outstanding! They had a special that was 60.00 for 2. They split everything. 10 oz filet mignon, 4 shrimp, 2 sides plus an amazing salad bar! The dinner rolls were amazing, too! It was the best steak we've had in years, if not the best steak we've ever had. To make it even better They had a special giving you a free lobster tail! Outstanding! I got salmon and tried my husband's steak...I don't order steak but I would here, hands down!! Pretty good menu selection. Carb macaroni and cheese was sooooo good. Definitely try that. Dessert was okay (key lime tart). Menu fluctuates so try to check it before you go. For example they used to have crabcakes. Stayed at the Wyndham and thought we'd go out exploring the downtown area and eat elsewhere. The weather was a little cool and gloomy, so we decided not to venture out again. So glad we made the choice to stay in the hotel and try the Riverfront Steakhouse. They were busy due to a large crowd from a special event at the arena, but the service was friendly. Our service, Alex, was very friendly and polite. The staff clearly has a good teamwork ethic - we watched the hostess and management staff helping delivering food, drinks, and checking in with customers. That was great to see. The food - WOW. We didn't have high expectations for a hotel restaurant, but the food was excellent. We've eaten out in lots of steakhouses, and this one was just great. My husband had a 6 oz filet (looked like 8 oz to us) which was perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to medium rare. He enjoyed the onion ring and carrots that came with it, and his side of crab Mac and cheese was quite large (could easily serve 2 or be a main dish) and flavorful. He is pretty particular about Mac and cheese, so this is high praise. I ordered Large Gulf Shrimp scampi, and the texture of the shrimp and the seasoning were wonderful. I ordered salad bar as my side, and as others have mentioned, it could also be a meal in itself. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised and happy with the final dinner of our Arkansas road trip. Large portions, delicious food presented well with excellent, friendly service. What else can I say? We would definitely recommend Riverfront Steakhouse to anyone, and I'd stay here again if ever again in the area just to make it easy to have dinner there. read more

"You never know with a hotel restaurant.." Get that thought out of your mind with Riverfront Steakhouse. From the service, to the food and the wine list, this establishment hits all the marks. The beautiful decor of this establishment only adds to the great experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, while being knowledgeable of the menu. The steaks were cooked exactly as ordered, the sides were larger than most restaurants and the wine list was impressive, to say the least. Bryce was our server and he was excellent and very personable. While I'm not sure of his exact role (likely executive) Shampoor was a delight to talk to and so very appreciative of our enjoyment of our experience. If I'm ever in Little Rock again, riverfront steakhouse is DEFINITELY on my list of must haves. read more

The rolls are amazing, the onion ring batter is delicious, salads were fresh and the dressings homemade. Chip was my waiter and what a professional, he made sure everything was perfect!! Riverfront Steakhouse is in the Wyndham Hotel. This was a different experience. Our table was in a separate room down the hall from the restaurant due to a conference we were attending & it seemed we were forgotten about. The 2 servers did as well as they could since we were spread out over 2 rooms. So I don't think it's fair to rate the service as if I would if dining in the main restaurant (which was packed). Salad bar: as good as I remember it. Now I know some people are snobby when it comes to salad bars. I am not. Of course, it HAS to be clean (learned that lesson from a bad Shoney's experience back in the day they existed). The chicken salad was so good, I went back for seconds. Plus shrimp (& not the small salad shrimp with no taste); several pasta salads & other salads; usual salad fare; vegetables; 3-4 kinds of cheese. My goodness. $11.99 as a meal. I should have stopped there (but the salad bar comes w/all entrees). I ordered the 8 oz filet medium. Cooked perfectly. BF got the ribeye medium rare & it looked like steak sushi. He loved it. Mushrooms were a little on the small side & of course, all the sides are additional. Steak places seem to have the most varying reviews (in my exiguous opinion), but I'm glad to give RFSH 4 stars (or maybe 3.5). read more

So went here.... $30 prime rib cooked medium. See picture. Took 30 mins for a beer. No draft. First beer i ordered they didn't have any cold. Really??!? A $30 steak and the beers are warm... No draft, however my beer came in a bottle but another came in a glass. I asked why? Waiter said he poured from a can into a glass. Wait some steaks are $59.95 on the menu... are you kidding me. Do not come here. Waste of money. Just want to hit on service as well... the waiter brought out four beers at a time. Couldn't remember who ordered what. Waiter asked "who had the Sam Adams?" My friend said another guy had the Stella... waiter said "i was asking who had the Sam Adams". My friend said "well you have the Stella in your other hand." Dah!!! Ordered the 24oz porterhouse rare and it was amazing! Seasoned quite perfectly, I might add. The salad bar was quite legit also. Everything was fresh from the salad bar. They even had grilled shrimp to add to your salad! They have a decent wine list to complement the meat that will go in your mouth! Linda was our waitress, she was excellent! She hooked my friend with a birthday dessert. The restaurant is a bit dark at night. Wish they would turn the lights up a bit. They even had a guitarist to provide mood music. Nothing stinks out from my memory about the musician. A bit pricey, but I believe it is worth the money spent there for the quality of food you get in return. This review is not about the food, but the service on a night in February 2018. Our group of five was overcharged for meals that were supposed to be on the early bird special. Then all the charges were put on one ticket -- my ticket -- in addition to each individual being charged for their as well. Not sure whether the charges were taken off my card, I called the manager (Vince) after arriving home, who hung up on me -- twice. When I attempted to call back multiple times, no one would answer the phone. In my opinion, not a very professional way to do business -- no matter how good (or bad) the food is. An earlier visit to the Riverfront for dinner was a pleasant experience, but this night was definitely a nightmare. The owners of the restaurant should be aware of the inconsistency in the quality of service. read more

I have been here many times over the last 20 years or so but it has been at least 5 years since I have been here. If you don't like change,'this is the place to be. There hasn't been much here. We walked in to the front desk where 3 ladies stood. We were there easily 3-4 minutes without any of them even looking at as, so kit off to a good start. The ambiance here is really lacking, I felt like I was at a Shoneys. While the steak house advertises as the best in the area,'the ambiance sure isn't there. We started with cocktails and they were just ok. Then the bread and appetizers came, the bread was excellent and the salad bar is very good and the soup was ok. We then got a ribeye and filet and both were excellent! The sides of macaroni and cheese and mushrooms were very good and the mashed potatoes were forgettable. Our server was excellent. The bill was the same as the other high end steak houses in town which is just hard to justify with all the babies screaming etc. read more

They have Great servers and the nightly musical entertainment is just perfect for a dinner atmosphere! The singer/musician Ricky Tripp is a an absolute legend!! He can take just about any song and sing a version of it that fits the dinner ambiance like nobody I have ever seen! This place was SO, SO yummy! First of all, our waiter was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful with the menu. He suggested a wonderful red Moscato wine that I would have never tried in a million years otherwise, and it was absolutely delicious! It's now one of my new favorites. I sat at the bar because I was in town for work and dining alone. The service was okay but not great. I ordered the steak tips Cajun pasta dish expecting some kind of spicy and flavorful dish like the Cajun steak pasta at Nothing but Noodles. What I got was some kind of fettuccine dish with a few steak tips in a weird brown sauce. Nothing about this dish was Cajun. We ate here for our 21st anniversary and it was our first time to experience this restaurant. Our waiter Stanley did an excellent job. Environment was a little noisy but the world junior fishing tournament was here. We shared a 22oz porterhouse and got baked potato, mashed potatoes and wild mushrooms on the side. It came with 1 salad bar and we added a second. I was raised in a steakhouse as that was my family businesses but that steak was hands down the best I've ever eaten. The bone-in rib eye and filet were excellent. Cooked to our liking. The salad bar was also excellent and a nice touch for a steakhouse. The plates for the salad were in a chiller, very nice. It is a casual atmosphere. My wife and I were enticed to try Riverfront as they offer prime steak (and price them on par to slightly less than Flemings/Ruth Chris, etc) but do not overcharge on salad, side, etc. Riverfront is great for a prime steak, or for a more moderately priced dinner of other meats. Finally, Alex, our server, was a very nice guy and did a great job. This was our first visit and we plan to visit regularly. read more

I think the Riverfront Steakhouse is one of the best kept secrets in metro Little Rock, probably because it is located inside the Wyndham hotel. Don't let that put you off - the food and service here are top notch. A meal here is rather expensive, but the meats they serve are among the best you'll find in the area. I should note that they coat their steaks heavily in a black pepper rub before grilling, and if you're not fond of that, let them know when you're ordering. My wife is fond of their salad bar and the homemade yeast rolls. I've been here many times and never had a bad meal or bad service. read more

Drinks a little weak but OMG everything else was delish!! We had reservations for two at 5PM today and were promptly seated. We didn't know this ahead of time, but Monday through Thursday from 5-6PM, the restaurant has a BOGO special on select entrees. 16 oz Prime rib, 10 oz ribeye (my husband got this), 6 oz filet mignon (which I got), and some pasta dishes that I cannot recall at the moment. Salad bar is just a $3.95 add on. Steaks were perfectly cooked, and the salad bar boasted some of the freshest greens I've had in a while. Note that onions were not part of the spread (I love onions so they were dearly missed!) Service was A-1, although I didn't get our server's name...maybe James? I had a Hawaiiantini and a margarita on the rocks...don't get the Hawaiiantini unless you like orange-pineapple flavor, and the margarita was pretty flavorless.
