I met some friends at this establishment to visit and was very disappointed and left in dismay. I got the fried catfish plate which came with two sides. I ordered green beens & a house salad. I discovered a gnat in my salad while eating it and was disgusted. I promptly informed the waitress who then offered me another salad. I refused and learned that this is a "pre-washed" salad that doesn't get checked which means there could be plenty more where that came from. I instead asked the manager to remove it from the check and he obliged. Our waitress was very kind & apologetic about the situation. If I could apply a ZERO here I would! I am a full-time wheelchair user that went to this TXRH at 415pm on Thursday by myself to eat. I was told there would be a 20 minute wait. I did not have an issue with that. After just shy of 30 minutes I went to the bathroom while still waiting, being told that they were waiting on an open table, and on my trip there and back I counted 18 open tables and booths! Asking to speak to a manager they informed me that I had to wait even though one section was open with both tables and booths and 3 groups in there but was told I couldn't be seated there due that section not being official open and only having 1 server. So a person trying to dine by myself would be that much more of a burden?! I was denied access to a booth because they said I need a table in a wheelchair. I never requested only a table. And I was denied access to open tables and booths due to it not being open when people were already in there?! Total crap. They treated me different wholly because i was in a wheelchair! Plain and simple! Not mention that i counted 10 groups of people ranging from parties of two, up to parties of six being taken in front of that arrived after me. I have never been treated so terribly in public restaurant! Absolutely unacceptable. Manager would not even apologize was talking over the top of me and being rude & would not let me finish anything I wanted to say about being obviously treated different just being in a wheelchair. read more

We stopped here on our trip to the east coast. Our server was very nice then the issues began. We ordered an appetizer that never showed up. I ordered a premium cut 11 oz steak cooked medium with a salad and a baked sweet potato. Thankfully the salad and the baked potato were good. The steak was more chewy than the Michelin tires I have on my Toyota Highlander ( Best car I have ever owned by the way. It's a 2018) wanting something to eat I decided to order a chopped steak. Came to visit my cousin and today was our last day. We came out to eat dinner and enjoy ourselves. I have been to Texas roadhouse before in MD so I already knew how it was going to be. The service was amazing. We came in an hour after they had opened and it was already packed, but we were seated right away. The bread was already ready on the table. Our order came out promptly. Restrooms were located behind us, and the noise level where we were seated was not too loud. Come for those big portions and be ready to head home and sleep right after. The free bread and the honey butter or whatever butter it comes with...YUMMY! The service is good and the quality of their steaks is really good for what you get. Texas Roadhouse is no Ruth Chris, but for a budget friendly steakhouse their fillet is pretty damn amazing! Definitely feels like a win when you can have a fillet cooked to your temperature for only $20. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, my husband reports that the Porterhouse, Prime Rib, Sirloin, and Ribeye are pretty good here. About 2-3 minutes later I get my salad. Great! I start eating and after another 2-3 minutes, the cheese fries show up. So after approximately 4 bites of salad, I set aside for our cheese fries. Ate a few of those. Then our entrees came. (Hubs had chicken fried sirloin, with mashed potatoes with gravy on both and green beans). We dig in. Hubs did eat his steak. A few green beans. And a couple bites of mashed potatoes & gravy. He said the gravy tasted sweet. I start on my steak, which I asked for medium rare, it was medium, and have to saw a piece off. I then proceed to try and eat the chewiest piece of meat I've ever had. I tried 3 or 4 more bites of steak and couldn't go on. We paid the bill and left.
