1st time here bc i got a giftcard. Strawberry lemonade was delicious. Got the onion ring blossom. It was alot. Too much for 2ppl. The bacon mac and cheese was super salty. The mashed potatoes felt like they needed more flavor. My steak was good and soft. Service was chill.

What can I say - I love the Outback! Especially this time of year when they offer the gingerbread cookie martini!! I wish it was around all year This visit I had the Gold Coast shrimp - coconut shrimp - served with a fruity sauce - so crisp and tasty! This lunch portion comes with one side - salad for me. My husband got the lunch cheeseburger with fries, another winner. Our server was amazing and checked in on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. Interior is always nice and clean. I'll be back for another martini before they're gone for the season!

My wife and I went to Outback in Lakewood on Sunday 4-19-26 and the overall experience was great as usual. Outback is one of those chain restaurants that provide a good experience every time. The service was great, the appetizer was fantastic, and the steak meal was awesome. We almost always order the coconut shrimp appetizer. And this time it was as good as usual. The coconut batter and the orange marmalade sauce go well together. My wife had a steak and shrimp and I had a New York steak, and both meals were great. The ambiance in the restaurant was nice as well. I'd definitely go back again.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for date night yesterday. We've been here a couple of times and had great experiences. We started off by ordering drinks, one of them being the Blossoming Rita, which is one of their alcoholic beverage options. The Blossoming Rita was very tasty and refreshing, with a good balance of alcohol and sweetness. For food we shared the 20 oz Bone-In Ribeye and chose the Dressed Baked Potato and Tasmanian Chili (one of their premium side options at an extra cost) as our sides. We also tried their Roasted Garlic Butter (costs a bit extra), and two different horseradish sauces (mentioned by our waitress) to go with our steak. Our food was very delicious and full of flavor. The Tasmanian Chili was especially delicious and worth the upgrade in cost. The service was also great, and our waitress was very attentive throughout our entire dining experience. She had our food brought out quickly and communicated with us on the status of our food. The restaurant itself was very spacious and clean with a pleasant atmosphere. They also had modern pop and country music playing in the background at a comfortable volume. We had a great experience as usual, and we're looking forward to coming back soon!

Visited on a Monday evening dinner time like at 5pm. Parking lot looked full so I was like that's it bc I've been here before and theirs times it's busy and times it's slow at serving. Well jinxed my experience. They are a bit infamous the servers about disappearing and not coming around for more bread and refills. Which was the case for myself. Ordered steak and a chicken plate. I had to wait a few minutes for A1 sauce my steak was getting cold at that point. But it was the best deal and was really tasty so made up for the service. It was a bit cold inside the restaurant. Overall it was the food that was good.

Absolutely disgusted by this restaurant and the food. Ordered a sandwich to go and when I was eating discovered a long hair embedded within the sandwich. YUCK

When I was younger I always wanted to try the American food chains like outback, red lobster, Applebee's etc. my parents always said no, the price is too expensive for the quality of food. Well I finally got to try it as an adult as we got a gift card to this place. Sad to say, my parents were right about the food. The food was underwhelming and salty. Very heavy as well. The best thing in our opinion was the max n cheese and the baked potato lol. The service was very nice, our waitress split our entree in half without us asking so that was a nice surprise. The presentation of the food was pretty. Lots of parking. Also we got charged to play the little game tablet lmfao .

Came to visit for mine and my husbands wedding anniversary, visit on the 3/20, with our son. The service and staff was amazing. My son is still unable to sit down for too long without screaming and they were completely understanding of his curiosity and wanting to explore, joking with me (I started it) that if he wanted to go into the kitchen he needed a job with them first. The manager, I'm going to guess by her attire and attitude, was really amazing and friendly as well with our son trying to play in the kitchen (never got into the kitchen and I wouldn't have let him). The food was really good as well. We ordered a bit more than needed but we enjoyed everything we ordered. We loved the Aussie fries. The bread as usual was SO GOOD! And the steak was just amazing, I got the D something or other (see photos). Our server, Feli, even let us know if it needed to be cooked a little longer they would have done so for us. The ambiance is that of your usual outback and that isn't a bad thing.

The Outback Steakhouse is our favorite Steakhouse and the first time I took my girlfriend at time and now my wife to have dinner and a movie that was many years ago. Through the years The Outback have make changes like their internal to make like a real Steakhouse establishment second they change and improve their menu but take away some of their classic dishes. Plus creating new cocktail drinks with a Australian theme to it. Throught the years,we enjoy the food like their salads, steaks, ribs, chicken plates and especially their dessert. But we also their great deals they are awesome we like their three course meal started at 14.99 then 22.99 and third one 27.99 price might be varies. This Outback Steakhouse in Norwalk still continue packing with crowds on the weekend.

I ordered the prime rib for my teenager and he gave it a 9/10. He loved it with the Au Ju & garlic butter and it was cooked well at Medium. The mashed potatoes and veggies were probably a 6,7/10. Now my favorite item on the menu the blooming onion was disgusting and was total trash, a waste of money. It tasted like the salt shaker broke off and spilled all over the onion, that amount of salt would maybe kill us if we would have eaten it. Finally, being as it was a curbside order, I would have expected a bit of customer service especially since I left a 15% tip. The guy bolted in and out so fast that I didn't have a chance to ask about utensils. There were no utensils and I was locked out of my house so I really needed some. Anyways, I do love Outback Steakhouse, so I may give it one more chance for redemption.

I was once told that when the people serving your food are attentive and welcoming, the food tastes better and the beer is colder! I didn't have a beer, so I can't confirm whether it was colder, but I can definitely say that our waitress, Brittanie, was on point with everything. She was very knowledgeable and helpful with her recommendations. She explained that the grilled asparagus has more flavor than the steamed asparagus, and of course, you can never go wrong with the tri-tip! She even offered to make a fresh pot of coffee for some very tired people. When it came time for dessert, Brittanie told us that the butter cake is one of her favorites, but she also said you can't go wrong with the peach crisp topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I want to personally thank Brittanie for the amazing service she provided last night. Her never-ending smile lit up the room, and she made sure everything about our dinner was perfect. They are ON IT! Not only were they on top of getting us in and out in 30 minutes but they were nice and with a full bar, we didn't feel rushed at all. Loved this! My friend ordered a cocktail and it was beautiful and the color was amazing. She said the taste was great. We were served 4 amazingly delicious hot bread rolls with butter and garlic. This was top tier! We shared a two meat plate of brisket and baby back ribs (pork) with fries and Mac n cheese. I'll say this the baby back ribs were the best thing on the plate. The brisket had no flavor. The Mac n cheese needs a heavy makeover. Please! The fries were great! All in all, I'd come back! I would highly recommend the baby back ribs!

The place comfy, the ambience is dark and bar-like, the drink vibes look chill, I have no complaints about the service. The service was good and the staff was nice. All this makes the steak disappointment that much worse for me. We ordered Ribeye and Shrimp Salmon Lobster Mac and Cheese Asparagus Lobster Roll (Sushi) A drink from the bar The Steak.. The steak came served on a cast-iron skillet. I ordered it medium-well. It arrived a little more medium than usual, but that was not an issue. What disappointed me was the puddle the steak was sitting in. Traditionally said puddle is a mixture of butter, thyme, and whatever seasonings you used on the steak when cooking it. In this case, that puddle was flavorless. It really tasted like the steak was just sitting in a flavorless oil. The steak was very bland, very difficult to think someone could send out a piece of meat out like that, especially when you find out what it costs. It was not worth it and not worth the final tab unfortunately. Really wanted to find a steak W for Downey but I don't see myself being interested in this place again.

If nobody can be bothered to clean and maintain the entrance of the restaurant, what on God's green earth is going on in the kitchen? Again, walked in, spotted the dirty floors - needs power cleaning way past a mop and bucket at that point. We wait about 10-15 minutes on a Sunday night although the place was visibly empty, maybe a lack of waitstaff but who knows. Get seated, booth is covered in crumbs so I have to clear them off myself. Sit, table is covered in grease so by now I'm extremely wary. Just felt like there was a lack of care behind the restaurant. Used to come here as a kid and although as a child I probably wasn't concerned with anything like cleanliness, I still think these are basic standards that did not seem to be met. My previous visit was not this concerning and last night left me very doubtful about ever returning. I had a bad feeling overall so we just ordered an onion flower to start. It was undercooked. Raw, crunchy onion, and raw batter in the center of it. The ends of the onion appeared burnt so it seemed like someone in the kitchen goofed a bit. Onion normally comes apart easily for easy grabs but we had to tug at this one quite a bit so I think it maybe wasn't cut all the way through and that made the cooking uneven. I felt there was no sense in spending $50 on food that's more likely than not going to be a disappointment so I ordered a baked potato - can't go wrong, right? - and a piece of garlic bread. Garlic bread arrived much later than the potato and it came cold. Potato came wrapped, uncut, undressed, with packets of butter and a to-go container of sour cream mixed with green onion. Sat at a restaurant, paying restaurant prices and being served by a waiter... I'm not really expecting to have to cut and dress my own potato especially when it's $5, and you can get an entire sack for that price. Size of the potato was laughable as well. Normally a baked potato is a good sized Russet but this one looked like a fingerling potato. Total for 3 was around $50 (with tip). All we got was the onion flower, 2 baked potatoes, the side of garlic bread, and one cheeseburger meal. Pretty steep considering there was really only one meal and one appetizer. We didn't even get drinks... Not coming back anytime soon. Hopefully the owners make some necessary changes to the restaurant.
