Food was prepared exactly how it was ordered and the young man that brought it out was very nice!

Not fault to the waiter (Abby) who did a great job. However the kitchen needs to get the act in order. The bar needs a major training course in drink preparation and presentation. Food took over 30 mins to come out while the restaurant wasn't packed at all. My wife's burger came out with the bun cold and cheese un-melted. I don't know what's going on but please fix it soon. read more

01.11.21 update We we have returned again only after 2 days, my wife's mother pasted away and we had company in town and Outback was picked for dinner. The issues started as soon as we got to the restaurant, on our way my wife called ahead for seating. She asked the person that answered to put us on the list the girl said to wait in the car until they called us, we pulled up and it really didnt look too busy so we waited in te car. We kept watching people just walking in the restaurant so after about 15 min my wife called again the girl say oh there's no wait just come in. We were seated in teh bar area table our server Arnaldo took our dink order while we decided on dinner. First off he brought our drinks we ordered the Boomaritas 4 different margaritas he carried all 3 orders 12 drinks at once, I should have sent back the one order when I saw that the cup was rubbing against his arm. it wasn't that far of a walk carry 2 and go back for the last one, he took our order and we started our drinks. Then while I was drinking one of the drinks I noticed the glass has a 3 inch crack in it so he came over and I told him about it he took the cup from me didnt say nothing to me went behind the bar and threw the glass in the trash, never siad oh im sorry I didnt see that nothing.. Our food came out a different person brought out the food she handed our guest first then my wife and then mine. before she could take her hand of my plate I looked at what I ordered the Blooming fried chicken sandwich with out bread. It was totaly BURNED crispy I wish I had of taken a picture, I said to her i can believe you even brought this out. She said well I wasn't going to bring it, well why did ya??? So Arnaldo came over to the table after she left asked how everything was well I had no dinner still never said he was sorry Ill get right on this. Finally someone brings my dinner out, he comes over says well I hope that one is better.. He brings the check and he double charged me for my sandwich he came over I explained an now I'm a little upset and I mentioned to him about my drink in a broken glass that he also charged me for. So he took the ticket and fixed it brought it back and I said well you didn't ask me if I was a diners reward member so he had to go back and get that done but this time he made us wait 10 min. while he took care of 3 other table delivering food and drinks. He finally came got our payment this time 15 min went by and finally the manager came over and says here is your check I took off the chicken and the drink for the broken glass never apologized. This isn't how Bunny has trained her workers to be I know if she had of been there this wouldn't have happened.. The other nasty thing I saw the manager do was she was walking through the bar area she stuck her hand under her shirt and she pulled a card out of her boob to give to another server for something they were asking for, people don't want to see that and who wants to touch that card after its been in her boob? 01.09.21 Updated review Its been a while since Ive wrote an updated review about this Outback, we use to come once a week sometimes 2 times just depended on what was going on. We like sitting in the bar Bunny the manger is great she always comes up and talk to us to see how things are going. Today I just had soup french onion and a salad chopped salad and the wife had a salad and backed potato. Everything was excellet! The server we had was very polite and made sure my wife's tea was always full. Its sad that they have taken away the chocolate souffle' that was my favorite, hopefully it will return.. read more

My fiance and I have been regular customers at this location, but our recent takeout experiences have been extremely disappointing. Twice now, our orders for a loaded baked potato arrived completely without any condiments. The manager on duty suggested that I drive back to the restaurant to pick up the missing toppings. When I asked if they could provide a coupon for my next order instead, I was told that it wasn't possible because a $10 coupon would exceed the value of the toppings. To top it all off, both of our steaks were overcooked and the bread was stale despite the high price point of over $100 per order. I expected much better quality and service, and we will not be patronizing this establishment again. read more

The service here is slipping. We had to flag down members of the wait staff in order to have our drinks replenished while waiting way-to-long for our orders to be filled. The barramundi was tasty but over cooked (read: dry). The ribs were also dry and over spiced. Now I remember why I quit going to the Outback Steakhouse. Really inconsistent service here. On our last visit, we were seated immediately but never received service and eventually had to just walk out and leave. After my kids colored their whole menu, played many rounds of tic tac toe and all of us had long decided on our meals, my husband went to the hostess stand to let them know we hadn't seen a waiter at all yet. The young girl said she'd look into it, the manager just looked through my husband and didn't say a word. Well, never did a server come. We left. We're just a family of four. We are sympathetic to busy evenings, short staff, etc but this was too extreme to ignore or tolerate. read more

Ordered carryout. Just checked bag to make sure everything was there but didn't open the containers til I got home. Found 4 Burnt steaks. Called restaurant, spoke to Mgr who said he will do a re-fire of entire order for free. I arrived, he did and these new steaks were better than the first group. Rest of the food was ok, Only other thing I can say wasn't up to par is the lettuce in their salad. If you get the house salad, look through it real good and you will find wilted pieces (greasy dark colored) mixed in. So just be aware. As to the pic above, why the cook , front line, order packers ever thought this was acceptable to send out is beyond me. It will be a veryyyyyy long time before returning. read more

I haven't been here in over 10years due to a horrible past experience. My daughter and I decided to give it another try as she had a good recent experience. I happened to be greeted by the manager Mrs Lim (bunny I later found) whom took us to our seats in the bar area, where I said to her fingers crossed for a good experience I haven't been here in 10years. She said that's before I arrived. We both giggled. But sadly the giggles tuned into us requesting her to come to our table for over cooked steaks we had ordered! I was very pleased that Mrs Lim took out food and came back with two amazing perfectly cooked steaks :) .... Then after talking with her more, she is trying hard to make much needed changes. Went to the establishment at 6pm on a Tuesday and was told it was a 15 minute wait for a table. 45 minutes later we ask about how much longer it would be. They said it would just be a few more minutes. So 1 hour later we ask for the manager and he said they were just under staffed, this whole time they had empty tables that could accommodate our party. And they continue to seat guests of the same size party as us they entered after us, the only difference was we had two small children. The manager was horrible, he seemed to be at the bar the whole time. Trying to get the bar tenders #. I will never enter that establishment again, and can only hope it closes its doors permanently. read more

15 minute wait for a table, 20 minute wait for our waiter to ask what we wanted for a drink, 10 minutes to get the drink, 30 minutes more to get the appetizer with 1 of 4 main entree meals! Waited another 20 minutes for the other 3 entree meals!! This place is absolutely banned/canceled/removed from our dining locations. Absolutely ridiculous service! People who got there 30+ minutes after us were served faster and we were just left with little to not service at all. The food was not at all good, it was burnt, tough and down right nasty. The manager checked on other tables but walked right past us with a completely absent waiter. Horrid experience. read more

Loaded mashed potatoes was on point. My Queen enjoyed the creamed spinach and loaded baked potato. The Prince Frederick Outback is second to none. The waitstaff, management, and patrons alike help to make the experience pleasurable. They did good tonight. Our server Jose did a great job in being attentive and getting the order right. One snafu came from the kitchen when they gave my wife the wrong type of breaded shrimp. They gave her the smaller ones and not the larger ones. Honestly we wouldn't have known the difference, but the manager spotted it and brought out extra shrimp that was the right size on a separate plate. I wasn't complaining because I got to eat some. The music was at the right volume. The decor looked fairly newer and contemporary. I'm not sure if this place was recently refurbished. Out of the chain restaurants in Calvert county, this is one of the nicer ones. I chose the chicken and ribs and although the portion size was medium for the chicken breast and ribs, they filled me up (the shrimp too) and they were TASTY. Over the last few years it's just been a steady dive down, food is mediocre servers don't care about their customers and food is lackluster at best. While waiting for my streak the manager brought replacement steaks to neighboring customers. I ordered a ribeye medium. It came out gray and it smelled 3 days old. We were waiting for a movie across the street and didn't have time to argue. I shared my kids burger. The waitress never bothered to ask why I didn't touch it. The wait staff was as bad as the food. As others have said, this location is really "hit or miss" in terms of service and food quality. Today, for example, went for lunch...it was not particularly crowded (maybe 4 other tables) yet it took a hour for soup/salad, and a prime rib sandwich with fries. Our server never checked on us, and when the food came and our tea glasses obviously needing refill....nada. Sadly, this location is more "miss" then "hit", and today is a experience we have had more often then not with respect to long wait and lack of server attention. read more

Was looking forward to going to an OutBack steakhouse, unfortunately I picked the one in Prince Frederick. Dirty is the first thing that comes to mind, it can't take much effort to clean the floors, it felt like walking on ice. We were seated pretty quickly, but ended up leaving after 15 minutes when no servers came. The ride to Annapolis is well worth avoiding the aggravation of Prince Frederick's outback. read more

I forgot to post a picture of the prime rib dinner I had at The Outback in Prince Frederick, Md. on Sunday. Don, Ronnie, and myself each ordered their 8 oz prime rib medium rare. Tim got a steak. We were shocked when our plates were brought to us! They were huge! We swore they couldn't possibly be 8 oz.! They were over an inch thick. And it was pretty tender. Almost as good as the ones we get at Owens in Nags Head. What was funny is the manager on duty came to the table to see how we were enjoying our meals and commented on it looked like we had the 16 oz prime rib. We laughed and told her they were supposed to be the 8 oz ones but we thought they were huge for that size. Tim said hopefully whoever cut them wasn't going to get in trouble. She said they wouldn't. But we could tell she was surprised we had ordered the 8 oz prime rib. I have a feeling we'll never have that big a piece when ordering that size in the future. I had issues there in the past. However, major improvements this summer! Great service, cooking to perfection, and overall great experiences. That is dine in, carside to go, and delivery! It's one of the only places that deliver to Huntingtown. But, it's awesome. The app gives an estimated time of delivery and they were there exactly on the Money. I don't know if it's new management, new servers, new cooks, or just a whole new makeover, but, it's major improvements. Highly recommend. read more

It was not the service that was unpleasant. It was the quality of the food that was a major disappointment. There was a sticker from the lime in my friends margarita, the special of the month came to the table looking like it was just thrown together on a plate with zero care about presentation, & fries were rock hard. I'm giving this particular location 5 stars. My husband and I had an early dinner here for his birthday a few weeks ago. It was a nice Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. The server was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. We ordered wings and coconut shrimp, and both were served hot and delicious. The bread was soft and warm and the server was quite cognizant about bringing more out, as it was obvious we enjoyed it. My husband enjoyed his ribeye steak and I enjoyed the salmon. I ordered white wine and that was served cold and tasty. Service was also very expedient . We did not wait long for any food item we ordered. I definitely recommend this location. read more

Very sad, saw at the bar tonight and was pure chaos with the bartender. She was overwhelmed by everybody's orders and the other waiter is just there demanding their drinks and not helping out or contributing. No teamwork no nothing. This is after having come in 3 nights ago sat there for over 15 minutes never got anything to dri've got anything to drink and got up and left. Management needs to step up and fix the problems.
