Typical Outback fare and as Tony suggested, a little difficult to figure out how to get in there. Once we found the parking lot, it took awhile to find a place to park - eventually parking outside of the Outback lot and in an adjacent lot. We came here with a large group for dinner the weekend of my step-daughter's wedding and we waited the typical 45 minutes to an hour, but once our buzzer was called we were seated and service was very good. Most of us ordered steaks and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Our server and my little girl flirted back and forth as she challenged him to a game of tic tac toe. Strong Kudos to the staff here for knowing the Heimlech maneuver. My MIL bit off more than she could chew and tried to swallow it... she isntantly started to panic and choke. One of the staff reacted very quickly and with a few thrusts of the Heimlich that rather large, unchewed piece of steak was dislodged and the panic was over. All was well that ended well. Went here for a birthday dinner almost a month ago. Of course we ordered a Blooming Onion. It was good and the bread was good. I ordered a Caesar salad and did not care for the dressing. It was heavily peppered. It was also pretty salty. I got a ribeye steak with fries. The steak was supposed to be medium-rare but came out well done. Sent it back and the replacement was RARE. I'm talking still blue in the middle. It was also heavily salted. By now, my friend has finished eating, so I just got a box and figured I'd cook it more at home. I treated since it was my friend's birthday. For $70 + tip I expected more. Not going to try here again for a LONG time - if ever! It's a chain so one instance is much like another. Some comments about this specific location: 1. They're spot-on on the gradations of doneness; you ask for rare, you get rare, ask for medium well, you get medium well. The wait staff are good about communicating this to the cooks and they deliver on what they said. 2. She Who Must Be Obeyed (SWMBO) praises the seafood here, saying its consistently better than other Outbacks she's been to. 3. They do a very good job on salad here with enough to be filling without having extra. Salad dressings are standard Outback, but seem fresher and more well seasoned than usual. 4. I'm not much of a fan of the wood-fired items in general but SWMBO likes them when she's in a mood for beef. I'm more for the classic method stuff. The ribs here are very passable. 5. They've managed to assemble a very friendly and fun set of servers. They're good at what they do, and aside from the occasional off night for one or two people who had a rough day for some reason, they're really pleasant people. They all know the current menus and specials, and are really good at making sure you get a fair deal. If for some reason they make a mistake, no hassle to get it corrected, and several have personally made sure the second meal was correct. 6. If you plan to go here, go early (before 6 when the hordes have returned from work). At peak hours, the wait can be substantial. Fridays and Saturdays can be quite loud and somewhat boisterous. Overall, it's a good meal for the price. Not fancy, but they get it done. Price for two entrees and soup plus beverages is about $20/person plus tips, so not a every day choice, but not totally out of reach either. read more

So first, I understand that it was Mother's Day and they were busy. The wait was not the issue. It was that our party of five had two disabled people and 3 plus size women. A booth with a chair at the end is not a suitable option. A hightop table is not a suitable option. So, eventually we're seated outside. The weather was nice but there is nothing blocking the direct sunlight from beating down on me and one other member of our party. Being outside is to be basically forgotten and you will be served by very server in the place *that's and exaggeration but it felt that way*. The food came and one person in our party order mashed potatoes, got Mac & Cheese and didn't receive the mashed potatoes until we were almost finished with the meal. One of the hostess seemed rude and unaffected by our visible unsatifaction and the server we were assigned was basically invisible. The food was OK, the service than stellar and my mom didn't enjoy her Mother's Day evening. We won't be back anytime soon. read more

Just a classic example as to how these big corporate restaurant aren't really struggling during these tough times. I don't think any struggling LOCAL restaurant would reject the possibility of acquiring a $70.00 order. Began the online ordering process at 8:35 and when the order was submitted we received an error about a unavailable menu item. Continued unsuccessfully to navigate the online process to no avail. Decided to call the restaurant only to be told that that they are no longer taking orders because they close at 9pm. It was 8:45 when we called. We went there for dinner Saturday night and it was the worst meal we have ever gotten. They have changed the way they season things. I couldn't taste anything but salt! At first I wasn't sure what score I was going to give this restaurant but that was before I spoke with the Mgr., Dolores. You see my son and I had dinner there tonight and it was wonderful, as always. Hubs couldn't join us so we opted to bring home something for his dinner. Upon unbagging his meal at home, I was less than enthusiastic with what I found. I had ordered QUEENSLAND CHICKEN & SHRIMP PASTA w/Alfredo sauce. I opted to eliminate the shrimp and had expected the chicken to be cut up and more than a thimbleful of sauce. Needless to say, I was not happy paying nearly $19 for what was in the take-home box. Even though it was in the middle of their dinner service, I decided to call and speak with the Manager...Dolores. She was kind enough to not only listen to my complaint, but did her best to make it right for me, her loyal customer. In the future, I will take her advice and ask for extra Alfredo sauce for this particular dish. While I'm at it, kudos to our server, Sarah F.! Just had lunch there. Visiting from out of town. Ordered a prime rib sandwich. Lots of cheese, mushrooms, onions, but not much prime. Told waitress. She said "I'm sorry". That was it. I never know what to expect with Outback chains. We were in the area and gave this one a try. We came at 4:00 pm and we're seated quickly. Our waitress was prompt and efficient. She kept our glasses full and although she forgot a few times what we asked for ie: extra butter, ketchup she did bring them after being asked a second time. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The broccoli and cheese was lacking with a fake after tasting cheese sauce. Other than that a nice experience. read more

When on date night with the mrs. Ordered salmon was uncooked and the waiter said that's how they cook it. Three customers sent there food back the also had the fish. Waiter told the customer to have another drink it will taste better!!! never came to check on us no silverware on table and no to go bag for leftovers. I've been to this Outback location one time... and for a reason. The experience was just not good. I'm probably a bit of a spoiled cry-baby but my steak was just not that good and the service was pretty horrid but as with most chains your server is hit or miss. I got the ribeye steak and it was mostly fat and what wasn't fat was tasteless. If you aren't used to eating dry-aged steaks like I am then I guess you may not know any better. For some reason whenever I eat dry-aged steaks I not only eat the steak, but the fat is just as yummy so my plate is clean when I'm done. Sorry for being snobby about this, but just trying to be honest. Someone should take the steak "Outback" and shoot it to put it out of its misery. I won't be back. read more

Unlimited shrimp and steak with a choice of one side for $14.99 is a pretty good deal. There was three different types of shrimp--shrimp scampi, buffalo and breaded. The buffalo was the best. A little spicy. The steak was pretty good as well. Overloaded on the bread to begin with. The waiter & waitress that we had was constantly at our table. Refilling our waters, asking if everything was okay, asking if we needed more shrimp, etc. it was nice to of always had a full glass but I felt like our family had more conversation with them than ourselves. After our experience this evening, I definitely had to give 5 stars! We walked in at 5 PM on a Saturday night. We didn't use the "call ahead seating" because we really didn't think it was going to be so busy this "early" on a Saturday night. Well, I was wrong. The place was PACKED. There was quite a crowd waiting at the hostess stand. I walked up to the hostess and asked how long the wait was for a party of eight. I was told 45 - 50 minutes. I put my name in and we decided that we would wait it out. Less than 20 minutes later we were sitting at our table! Our waitress, Val, was SPOT-ON. I've been to various Outbacks more than once and I've never had the menu explained to me! Val asked us, "Is this the first time you've been here since we've added our new wood-fire grill?" (which it was). Val told us all about the wood-fire grill and she even made an entree recommendation. Make sure you get the wood-fire Ribeye! Val didn't stop there! We had two servers (Val and someone else, I have no idea why we had two servers). Val was AWESOME! She went above and beyond. Just her personality and also she made sure that we had everything that we needed. I asked for the manager to be sent to our table. When the manager arrived, you could tell that she was expecting to hear a complaint. After I gave my report on how Val had taken care of us, her tone changed and she said that she would make sure the kudos get passed along. Thank you Val! We often go on Bloomin' Mondays, when the Bloomin' Onion is free. We eat just a fraction of the onion (since it's close to 2000 calories!) and get a couple of small salads (to repent for the onion), leaving our total check under $20, even with drinks and tip. read more

My wife and I dine at this restaurant every month or so. We have been pleased with the service that is provided - friendly and efficient - and with the menu choices. We have not yet had a meal that was less than satisfactory. The Outback does draw a crowd so we tend to go there on "off" nights like Monday and Tuesday and rather early, 6 PM or so.
