I'm disappointed to share that I had a negative experience during my recent visit. I stopped in for what should have been a simple order--a thin crust cheese pizza--but after waiting over 25 minutes, it became clear something was off. During that time, the bartender appeared more focused on socializing and engaging with certain patrons than attending to orders. From where I was seated, I had a clear view of the bar area, and the level of attentiveness to customers seemed inconsistent with what I would expect from a professional environment. When my pizza finally arrived, it was unfortunately overcooked to the point of being inedible--completely burnt and very hard. This was frustrating, especially given the wait time and the simplicity of the order. (See photo attached). I'm sharing this feedback because I believe there's an opportunity to improve both service standards and overall attentiveness. ****This establishment has had approximately 7 health code violations which is one way too many to begin with. (Listed under their Yelp! Reviews). Customers should feel confident that their orders are being handled with care and that staff are focused on providing a positive experience. Love this dive bar! The staff and regulars are always friendly, and the bartenders make consistently great drinks. There's a mix of games like pool, pinball, and shuffleboard, along TVs to catch a game. The little dog-friendly patio is such a nice perk, and you can even order Sonny's Pizza while you're there. Do not go here if you are with a group of women. My girls and I got kicked out simply for being 21 and looking "young." Mind you our IDS get checked at the front door. Female bartender with dark hair and tattoos was extremely rude and yelled at us that she will not serve us due to our looks which then promptly got us kicked out after.
