Really cute spot, fairly small - even with a reservation we still had to wait for around 15 minutes for a table on a Tuesday evening (though the host was very apologetic and offered us free wine for while we waited). I like the interior art, but the inside is a little cramped and loud. We went for the $60 deal - one appetizer, pizza, pasta, and dessert - which was very much worth it: I was expecting small portions due to the cost but split between two people we both went home feeling very full and with enough leftovers for a solid one person meal. Starting off with the prosciutto and burrata plate, which was much larger than expected (though there's not a lot of burrata in proportion to everything else in the bowl). The candied pear in it was especially good. The pizza (Tyson punch out) was decent but nothing special. The vodka pasta was a standout, really creamy and flavorful and the pasta itself had a very nice al dente texture. For dessert we got the tiramisu which comes in a plastic takeout container - was also good, there seemed to be more cream/filling than cake but I enjoyed it. Came here for dinner on monday and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience. The place was severely understaffed, which led to very slow service and a server who kept forgetting our basic requests - we had to ask for bread five times before it ever showed up and ended up asking someone else for it to arrive at our table. We were seated outside only to find that the patio heaters were out of gas, leaving us freezing the entire meal with no warning. As for the food, it was just okay. The mussels were soo fishy and didn't taste fresh, and the crust on the pizza was way too thick for our liking. While the flavor of the mussel broth was very unique we were thrown back by how many pieces of mussels that were not cleaned properly. As of 2/22/26 The place is a bit tiny so make sure you make reservations! The staff is SUPER friendly and depending on your music taste, this place is very fun. They don't play your normal restaurant music, last night it was VERY colorful songs from 50 Cent type genre. I personally love that music. Sounds weird I know, BUT there is only a speaker with a colored light in the bathroom so it's not the brightest in there. At least you get to listen to great music . Next course was our pasta- Rigatoni Vodka $16: this is definitely one of our favorite dishes and we try to order it when we see it just to see the difference between places. We like that it's spicy pasta. The pasta didn't look like rigatoni, but it seems like the rigatoni curled and looks more like shells, which doesn't really matter to us, just thought we'd mention it. But the flavor was really good and even better when you have a sprig of basil with each bite. Would definitely get again. It was almost like the one at Carbone in NYC, just minus the sausage. Drinks- Pliny the Younger $9: Of COURSE we had to order the Pliny the Younger, it's only out certain times of the year and it's hard to find on tap for sure...it's like a pot of gold when you find it. This all depends on your taste though. We love IPAs so this is right up our alley. We don't normally drink beer but this one, if we see it..always have to get. I ended up getting 2! At 10.5%abv...it's definitely a sipper...no chugging this one. Last but not least was our pizza- The Guido (Large) $31: A very simple made pizza with a fresh handful of arugula on top. After the pictures I spread the arugula more evenly across the pizza of course and we went to town. As I said earlier, we didn't expect the salad to be so big, so after most of the salad, half of the pasta, and beer, there wasn't much room left for the pizza so we each had 2 slices and took the rest to go. Like I said, the pizza was good, the best I've ever had..prob not, but for the atmosphere, the staff, the owner, and other Wednesday night perks I was recently told about, I would DEFINITELY go back. My friend was visiting form LA and knew she wanted to come here for her final casual dinner in the Bay. The waiter recommended that the combo (small pizza, pasta, appy, dessert) is ideal for 3 to share. Since we had a group of 5, we got the combo and added a salad and large pizza too. Everything was presented amazing and although we sat outside, the pasta and pizza stayed warm! The vodka pasta and Caesar salad are a must-try. Pizzas we got: the Magic Mushroom and Gotham! Both were amazing but the mushroom was our favorite. PRO TIP: KEEP THE VODKA SAUCE TO DII THE PIZZA CRUST IN! Amazing. read more

Pink Onion Wednesday deal: 1 appetizer, 1 pasta, 1 pizza, and 1 bottle of wine for $60!! They have this deal on other days as well, just without the free bottle of wine. This deal can definitely feed 3 people, so keep that in mind when you come/ order! Also if you come on a Wednesday, or any night for that matter, I would highly recommend coming later in the night. I had a 9:15pm reservation so that basically meant we were a part of the last seating, and we were not being rushed off our table. It was nice to be able to take our time enjoying our food and chatting with the servers, Nate and Gabe. By that point in the night, the music is going, people are tipsy, and the restaurant becomes a mini wine bar/ night club! I genuinely only have good things to say about my experience here. The Wednesday $60 meal deal is always the best, but you do need to book MONTHS in advance. The service is always very fast. Our server for this visit was very attentive. The restaurant itself is very small, but if you have a party of 3 or 4 the seating is more than enough. (Be careful swinging open the bathroom door - You can accidentally hit other customers). The food is so delicious. With the deal, you can get 1 small pizza, 1 pasta, 1 appetizer/salad, 1 dessert and 1 whole bottle of wine for $60. We ordered the burrata caprese, pasta tartufo, truffle pasta, magic mushroom pizza and basque cheesecake. The salad was a good start. Nothing over the top, but was delicious. The pasta was creamy and had real slices of truffle. Also very normal, but still delicious. The pizza has the best dough - It is so light and fluffy. This was the favorite for me. The dessert was good - Not much to say. It was just a cheesecake. Though, everything, besides the pizza which excelled, tasted normal delicious (if that's a thing), this deal is just something you cannot beat in SF. I absolutely love this small local gem in the city! I mean, how can you go wrong with super creamy pasta and delicious pizza along with the best tiramisu?! The best part of this place is they have a special deal on Wednesdays where you get to pick one pasta, a pizza, a salad or appetizer, dessert, and drum roll for the best item...... a bottle of wine - all for only $60! That's like the sweetest deal ever! Most importantly, aside from that good deal everything we ordered is delicious and amazing! My favorite items is the truffle pasta and the combo meat pizza. The Caesar salad is also a hit. The customer service is very friendly and they make you feel very welcomed! They'll happily give you advice on what to order if you have any questions. The place is small and you definitely might have to wait in the line so I would recommend making a reservation, but it's a very cozy restaurant so be ready to make friends! read more

I cannot believe I've left this review in draft for so long. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants ever! Obviously come for wine down Wednesday and get the free bottle of wine with the combo. It's so much food and really good high quality food. Everything is so good. You won't be disappointed. The service is fast and everyone is polite.
