Went here once for a quick brunch on a weekday. Wasn't too crowded. Was easy to find, and the server was really friendly and helped us with good recommendations. I tried the chillaquillas, it was really good. However, I had tried it at another place it had more flavor and spices with it which I had like more. This was different but this was good in it's own way as well. Not sure which is the more authentic version. Also there banana French toast was really good as well.

First time at Over Easy. Was happy they opened at 6:30 but the Yelp Reviews were not stellar. Menu is pretty basic, they feature several items that were on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. Breakfasts range from about $14 to $18 which is pretty much on par these days. Ordered the Southwest Skillet with chorizo, potatoes, peppers, chili and black beans. If you want a slice of toast added it's an additional $2.50 if you want two slices it is $4.50... WTF? Did not ask about English Muffin. Dish was ample, service was very good as was the food. Did not really need the bread, however the add on pissed me off. Who charges an extra $4.50 for toast? First and last time here, too many other choices in area if you can wait until 700 am.

Our first time here and was pleasantly surprised. The building itself looks like a fast food joint and wow was it busy! They had outside seating and it was packed as well. We were greeted by our smiling and very nice server who took our orders, delivered our drinks and kept checking up on us. She had on the coolest ring.. it looked like a crown. Everyone at our table cleaned their plates so you know that means it was good. I had the chorizo Benedict and it was delish. Will we go back?? Oh yeah!

Arrived to have breakfast and was greeted by Haley. What a pleasant young lady. Very happy always smiling. Service was quick and will definitely come back. One suggestion get Red Bull for a morning boost. Vodka red-bull would be great. Food was really good as well

First time here. Seated right away our server was great. Freshly squeezed Orange juice was great but $6.00 for a small glass is a bit pricey. Food over was good nothing special. Good atmosphere! Would I come back yes I would.

I've only ordered from here. I haven't visited the restaurant, yet. The potatoes O'Brien were delicious! They're very flavorful and come in a large portion. The toast was great, too. The bread was fresh and of good quality. The bacon was yummy, as well. The banana nut French toast was fabulous. My iced chai was really good...I wish it was a bit larger. My son enjoyed his breakfast sandwich. He says he wishes it had sausage patties versus links. It's a bit expensive, but the portions are large. There are a wide variety of options I'm looking forward to trying.

Best fresh squeezed mimosa! Service is great as well as atmosphere. Photo is the BLTA, which was great.

This is a great place to eat. My favorite dish is Gary's Croatian Spinach Loaf. It may sound odd, but trust me, it is delicious!!

I'd been meaning to try this location after seeing a few of my fellow Yelper friends review this place. Just like they said, this place did not disappoint! Serving up quality diner food with friendly service, classic hits, and blast from the past decor. What We Ordered: - Steak & Eggs: Under $20?! Count me in! Seasoned well and cooked perfectly to order for both the over easy eggs and medium rare steak. Breakfast perfection! - Patty Melt: My boyfriend said it was delicious, and the small bite I tried was great. You can tell they season their burger patties. Honestly, we both left very impressed as all the food was seasoned well and cooked beautifully. Who says diner food can't be done well?! Nana Dee's has set the standard for diner food!

We arrived for breakfast and the place was packed. Even so, we were seated within a few minutes. Menus were brought for us to peruse. For a starter we both had a large glass of cranberry juice. $3. Emphasis should be on the word large, as in most places you would get a small glass for the same price. Companion ordered the "Fresh Start", which is a big bowl of oatmeal which comes with cranberries, raisins, walnuts, brown sugar, and milk ($6). Companion was unable to finish it all. For myself, I had the Hawaiian omelet which had ham, bacon, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese. While I must admit I have never before had an omelet with these ingredients, it was delicious and big. I could not finish it all. The coffee was bottomless and the service was excellent. Unlike many other places that serve breakfast, we were made to feel truly at home, with friendly people all around. We will be going back again and again, possibly for lunch next time. This is a new favorite place to eat for us. Sanitation was good and food came out quickly. 5 stars.

The empty plate would probably have been better because it was delicious.

Good food, spoiled by bad service. We have been curious…read moreabout this place ever since we stopped and talked to the person seating people while we were waiting for our reservation across the street. He mentioned a pickle martini, which I ordered at lunch and was very good. My wife ordered the welcome burger and enjoyed it except for them getting the toppings wrong. Our granddaughter really liked her mac and cheese and there was a generous serving of sliced fruit. And my Jose Burger had just enough spice and was very tasty. That what's the good. So we stopped here for lunch on a Friday about 12:30 with our 3-year-old granddaughter. Our initial server barely said two words to us and we felt like we were an imposition. When we ordered my wife asked did they have Pepsi or Coke products he said we have bottles and cans of everything, so she ordered a Coke. It was Mexican Coke which is fine, but $5, and it wasn't until we noticed other people had cans of regular Coke and realized he did not give us a choice. When we ordered our burgers, again he barely said two words and did not ask us how we wanted them cooked even though the menu says cook to order. When we got them they were very rare, see the picture, which we're okay with although we would have ordered them a little more done. My wife said no onions on hers, and of course there was onions on her berger. Later we were served by a waitress who was much more friendly and we realize was probably just not there yet when we sat down, so the initial waiter didn't really care what we thought since we weren't going to be his customers at the end. So sadly what could have been a very pleasant lunch was spoiled by the initial waiter, even though the food was good we may not be back.

But I can judge simply food or filet a trout or chicken and add a homemade beurre blanc sauce. I like simple red wine but relish a Camus anniversary bottle. We eat at hole in the walls and expensive places. But often we look at each other and choose between Dennys or VI, and are happy! Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.

Just 2 minutes from the ALB airport, this spot hits exactly how you need it to hit when you're either coming off a flight or heading into one: easy, classic, no-frills comfort. I went with the corned beef hash + pancakes breakfast, and it delivered that old-school diner energy. The hash was hearty and filling, eggs cooked just right, and the pancakes? Soft, golden, and exactly what you expect--nothing fancy, just solid. But let's be clear... the real reason you come here is the pie. Village Inn doesn't play about their pies, and the banana cream pie is the headline act. Light, creamy, not overly sweet, topped with whipped cream and just enough texture to make every bite feel intentional. For under $20 a pie, it feels like one of those rare "still worth it" moments in today's food scene. Yes--it's a chain. But this location in Albuquerque shows up like it understands the assignment: quick service, consistent quality, and that nostalgic diner comfort that doesn't try too hard.
