Classic milk tea with boba and Classic Waffle
    Gina H.

My friend and I both got the classic milk tea with boba. I adjusted mine to 50% ice, 50% sweetness, and dairy free creamer. I like that you can adjust both sugar and ice levels. The service was friendly, even trying to give us the best combo deal to order with a waffle. The interior has limited seating but it was cutely decorated for valentine's day. In terms of bubble tea, I had better. It was not bad, but not the best either.

Walking into the shop, it had a very cutesy vibe to it. I love the toys and machines too. I bought 2 keychains. I got oolong milk tea and I hate to say that the tea was oversteeped. However, the boba pearls themselves were very well made. They also do not offer Thai tea. That's why I gave the shop 2 stars. I will not be returning.

One of the best boba spots i've had in Renton! I was over at one of my friends house and we walked over to the center that had this boba shop, QFC, and many other places. I've never had Over The Rainbow so I was excited to try their drinks. I got their Mango Green Tea which was filled with delicious flavor and the tapioca was so soft. The service was quick; the register person was super sweet and asked if we needed any questions to ask! The place itself was cute, spacious and had many seats for comfort. Parking is easy since it's in a little center, it is free and I would definitely stop by here again if I am in the Renton area!

FOOD: 5/5 STAR- We loved their drinks, my husband got the red bean slushy and it tasted like the Korean red bean ice cream. The milk tea with winter-melon was super delicious as well. Overall, we were super impressed. SERVICE: 5/5 STAR: Good Customer Service overall very good! AMBIANCE: 4/5 STAR: Just an average cafe, but some cute decors here and there. I recommend coming to try the drinks!

    Brown Sugar Milk Tea w/boba

Been here twice in the past two months. The first time I ordered a wintermelon black milk tea w/boba and it just tasted like really watered down milk. I did not taste the wintermelon tea flavor at all. I came here again recently and ordered a brown sugar black milk tea w/boba thinking this is the most basic drink on the menu, can't possibly mess it up. I was wrong. It still tasted like watered down milk. Barely any "tea" flavor. Giving it two stars because the service was not bad and the boba was sweet & chewy. There's other boba shops nearby that I'd go to instead.

This place is super busy and I could see why. The drinks were delish. Lots to choose from. You get that chill and relaxing vibe. I would come back for sure.

I am an inexperienced boba drink orderer. So I am that annoying customer asking loads of questions at the counter. I love boba, but never know what to order. The young man at the counter here was super patient about all my questions. I ended up with a mango flavored green tea with Lychee jelly. Super delicous and was gone by the time I made it home. This cute tea shop also offers tons of other choices including sweet cream, boba, black tea, hot and cold beverages and those yummy looking waffles. I appreciate the patience and answers while I decided what to drink/eat. The parking lot for this place is in a shopping center with a very busy QFC so be careful. I was visiting a nearby nail salon and that is why I ended up here. The prices are typical for boba, I think, but if and when I come back for my pedicure here I will visit this tea shop again. Sooooo many choices. Cheers and happy Yelping.

I zoned in and got the Honeydew smoothie (it was limited edition, also Buy 1 Get 1 Half off!) - Super impressed by how the smoothie tasted without any added sugar (thank you milk sugars!), and would order again on a super hot day (I was coming from a hike near Issaquah and this was a spot to hit on the way back home!) I've only got my order to-go, but I had a good impression of the interior and decor of the location! Renton people, if you need a spot to chill at, or just want to get a good boba smoothie, this is a fun spot to hit.

Solid bubble tea close to the QFC grocery store. Extremely dangerous because if you're hoping to just buy groceries, guess again because you can't help but go into this establishment. I had a black milk tea with Crystal boba. Not too sweet either which is good for me. My only recommendation is to not drink one of these right before a blood test and then get your blood test results and freak out but then remember after the fact haha.

Been here a few times, mostly out of convenience when I have a bubble tea craving. My go-to is usually the grapefruit green tea at most bubble tea places but this one falls a bit short. The grapefruit tasted a bit too syrupy. Milk tea here is a bit hit and miss, sometimes it's pretty good and other times feels like the tea flavor isn't strong enough. Consistency issues can be improved. They do offer bubble waffle which is nice, and they do a good job with it. Nice crust outside and chewy inside. I won't go out of my way to go here, but when you want a bubble tea fix and around the Renton Highlands this is your only choice.

Not very good. I tried their milk tea and my friend got the mango smoothie but both were very watery and had undercooked boba. The mango smoothie didn't even have fresh mango and I suspect it has mango powder flavoring. I wasn't impressed at all by the quality of the milk tea and could have made a better drink at home. I was pretty disappointed by my visit but in the bright side the workers are very nice and the drinks are pretty big. To be honest...I probably won't visit again.

They have board games that you can borrow and play. There is a huge parking lot so you will not have trouble finding parking. Since I didn't know what to order I just got what was on their list of top six drinks. I ordered the milk tea with boba and egg pudding and the total was $5.78 with tax. Is it slightly above average price for boba? Maybe, but I technically got two toppings so that might be why as well. The boba tasted really good. It was soft and chewy and there was actual flavor in the boba. I could probably do without the egg pudding and if I came back I probably wouldn't get it because I thought the boba itself was already great. I will say that I wish they had a couple more tables. I don't know how busy they get during the day but at 8pm on a Thursday night all the tables were occupied. This is one of the better milk teas I've had in the general Seattle area so I'll keep it in mind if I'm ever in the Renton area again.

Service was great. The overall product...not so much. Note to Owners: a 55oz drink that has a price adjustment of 20 cents off is shocking. We understand as a small/neighborhood business...your prices have to remain a little higher. But as a consumer...this is highway robbery. Drive the extra couple of mules to Share Tea or Boba Lust. J would avoid this business until they are able to bring back their normal menu. 1 star for good service/workers behind the counter.

Do over the rainbow near QFC have WiFi access? I am wondering because I also want to get some work done as well as get something to drink.

I was pleasantly surprised (and amused) to find their macarons with custom printing at the "REVIVE I-5" booth at the University Street Fair. I was amused enough to write a separate review for them. The quality of the artwork and print colors are fantastic and vibrant with the rainbow colors. Please see photo. If I was interested in custom macarons, I would most definitely order some from Macadons. The flavor in this case is a simple vanilla, which has its charms, though I typically buy other flavors. The shell doesn't have the characteristic slight crispy, which is understandable since these are not fresh from the store. The inside is a very creamy filling that squished out on the sides as I bite down. Everyone has their own texture preferences. I personally like it less creamy. I normally buy their ice cream macarons, but these are still very good. The individual boxes make them great for small gifts.

It felt so weird. All the songs were the grunge emo type, which I get is someone's personal taste, but you'd think the owners would monitor what is being played. The atmosphere is so different. The price is insane for what the product is. I got the mango sticky rice and before they would put a cute thai tea bear or something on top, with a lot of rice. Now its this tiny little sample size cup of rice, nothing cute about the food, so overpriced. I get why they almost never have people there anymore. Ah, 2021 was such a year when I first went here. Everyone was looking for an excuse to go outside…read morebecause of the quarantines but it was hot and sunny back then, and this place filled up my friends' IG stories back when we wanted to walk around Gene Coulon Park where this place is located not too far from. Parking around the streets touching here and the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport is not advisable since it's very limited. There is a paid parking garage near the Hyatt you can use, or you can use the nearby Coulon Park parking lot and walk over here like I did. There's no seating inside here; instead there's tons of treats, merch, tea bags, gummies and other products on tables and shelves filling up the right-hand side of the interior. There's also a grassy background where you can take photo ops of yourself and/or your drinks. Up at the front counter to the left-hand side of the entrance are two kiosks you can use to punch in the drinks you want. The menu is also up behind the counter as well. For this visit, I got their tiramisu milk tea with boba. The tiramisu foam ayer was large enough that when I stirred the whole drink in, I could taste the tiramisu's slight coffee-like, earthy hints throughout. The milk tea itself is very strong as I could taste the bitter undertones of the tea easily after just one sip. Also love how they put their drinks in a plastic container shaped like a can! As for their boba, I actually don't mind them being much smaller than many other boba places. They're both small and very chewable, and still look very good sinking to the bottom of the drink in case a photo op is needed. Regular size boba would take up too much space inside the can anyway. Overall drink was a tad too sweet though. This is one of the few places that come to mind for me when someone asks me what boba places there are around the Renton area, as I've gotten great drinks here for every visit since 2021. I'd love to come back again and try their other drinks when I'm around the area!
