Well I'd like to tell you how the food was but we didn't get to enjoy any. I waited at the door for a minute or two to be sat which was fine. We were sat at the closest table to the door and then the server who sat us disappeared. My husband and I sat at the table and watched the bartender FaceTime someone on her phone while the other servers were SAT at the bar talking and VAPING. We stared at them for a while hoping to get greeted but we're ignored for over 15 minutes. We were so hungry but we still left due to the blatant disregard. Won't be returning.... I've been a manger of a restaurant before so I understand understaffing but this was ridiculous. read more

Food is very over priced! The burgers are premade patties as thick as a fast food restaurant and not good. The menus had old food all over them. The food is yummy! Try the poutine, it will knock your socks off. The burgers are huge so I suggest getting an app and a burger for two people to share. Last time I tried the chili dog and it was way better than I expected. Don't forget the burger on the pretzel bun with beer cheese! So far that is my favorite. Edit: I gave them 4 stars because they don't have many regular domestic beers available. I'm a michelob ultra girl myself but will settle for a Bud light. Their beers are all specialty. The food at the Over The Top Burger Bar was excellent. I had the Buford Blue burger and it was exceptional. My wife had the BBQ Pork Mac-and-Cheese and she really enjoyed it. Glad and disappointed, glad because I have finally eaten here, disappointed because it took so long. Great burgers, I expected messy with the amount of ingredients but it didn't all just fall on my plate, it was a well put together burger. Awesome beer selection, I will need to dive into the cocktail menu next time but you could see the detail the bartenders were putting into them. There was something about the fries we couldn't quite put our finger on, maybe it's a different oil, not sure. Lastly, great awareness by the hostess who pointed out two seats opening at the bar, it's not often that happens and we're always looking to snag seats at a bar instead of waiting for a table. I really wanted to like this place, because I think the concept is cool and the menu looked good. But the burgers just aren't very good. The staff was friendly and it was a fun atmosphere. Lots of nostalgic 90s memorabilia around. I actually did like the chili, and the French fries were also pretty good. But the burgers are dry and unseasoned, and like my burgers juicy and flavorful. The toppings on the burgers were good (although mine was supposed to come with an onion ring on it and it didn't), but the meat itself was bland and seemed over-cooked. I didn't eat much of it. I tried my husband's too and it was about the same. Decent toppings, but meat was not good. My son ordered a fried chicken sandwich and it came grilled instead. Went for an early dinner on a Thursday night, the server was not welcoming or knowledgeable about offerings. The server delivered the wrong beer to the table and seemingly ran away. We had to take the beer to the bar where the bar tender argued about what the server's mistake and eventually, reluctantly exchanged the beers. The menu price has increased to ridiculous amounts and the food quality has decreased by the same amount. The fries used to have a special seasoning and now they are regular battered fries from the freezer. One burger was ordered medium rare and it was passed well done with the lack luster fries. The other burger was ordered with a lettuce wrap and it was basically a salad with half a meat patty almost burnt with the super salty green beans. The server was not attentive and we had to flag down other workers several times in order to get our bill. For two burgers and one beer, the total was $60. That is unacceptable. We will not be returning and I will not encourage my friends to dine here either. read more

We had been wanting to try this, and we were so happy we got to do so today. Our waitress was very friendly. We each tried 3 different burgers, and could only eat half of them, as they are huge. Sadly, I found it to be mediocre. As stated in previous reviews, the service was good. Kinda slow on a Saturday at 4:30 though Friendly, and informative. The burger was a bit salty and the presentation could've been nice except for the "dollop" of butter or some saturated fat product found on my plate that I assumed was used to butter in my bun in a hurry ..We ordered the seafood dip as an appetizer and that was the consistency of warm cheese whiz with lumps of some thing I still am unsure of. I went to this place for the first time on Sunday, and I had a mixed experience. For one, the food was very, very good. I had the Georgia Summer burger, and it was amazing. The fries are really good, too. However, the service was subpar. The only times we were waited on is when we called our waitress over to our table. We could see her talking to other servers while we were waiting to order. Also, the music was so loud in there we couldn't hear each other talk. The band was very good, but overwhelming in the small space. We sat in silence most of the time. The staff were wearing masks, but all had them pulled down under their chin. And how do you not have marshmallows available??? Don't come here if wanting to watch sports. Was treated to watching the Bob Ross Channel and Vice. Decided to downgrade to one star. I had the burger and was told I couldn't have it cooked the way I preferred. Fries were lukewarm at best. Companion ordered the cab cake Benedict. Poached eggs were over done and the breakfast potatoes like my fries were lukewarm and not impressive tasting. Crab cakes themselves...seem like they used canned crab vs lump crab. Great burger, crisp delicious fries that comes with GRAVY...(GRAVY!!!!!) and the presentation was on point! My new best friend Emily (bartender) took care of me and suggested the Dark Knight milkshake to cap off my meal. Let me start out with the good, our waitress worked so hard to try and cover the entire restaurant by herself. Meanwhile the manager never left her booth against the wall on her computer. But let's talk about the disappointment of this experience. First the menu. Although it was days past the Tinsel event, they wouldn't serve anything but the things on that lackluster menu. I had out of town guest excited to try some over the top burgers, but the underwhelming menu choices meant 3 ordered salads, 2 orders just the plain burgers. And although the burgers were fine, we were all eating something we didn't want to order, but too embarrassed to walk out the door once we saw this menu. At least we were looking forward to the Rosemary Fries. ...until they came and didn't taste the least like the Rosemary Fries that I have had before and raved about. Cook error? I don't know, just again a disappointment. But we were then looking forward to trying their milkshakes even though they were $12. When they arrived at the table they looked decent enough. Lots of whipped cream, and I mean a lot, gave way to what could only be called a slightly flavored milk. It was as thin as milk, I'm not sure it even had ice cream because there was absolutely none to be found. On the cookies and cream type I had, it has a store bought cookie, and then milk that might have been slightly flavored with some chocolate. That was hard to pick up as well. One had a key lime cheesecake thing, but again, it was watered down milk. And each shake was $12. Every our easy to please kids were so disappointed by them. Again, we didn't want to make a scene, so we waited until after we paid to even let the waitress know that whoever is making the milkshakes needs to find a way to thicken them, because they were absolutely horrible. Probably the worst milkshake I can ever remember having. Sad to say, the whole night was a bust, and I so wish we would have just walked out to go just about anywhere else. read more
