They give you an option to provide blankets & tie downs which we declined. We declined the minimal cost and wrapped our items up beforehand. Reading the reviews, some people don't understand that this is how it works with pod moving and why it is so cost effective. Suggest adding that service if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself. read more

I hired Ox and Bull for a full-service move on June 10, 2026, and it was an awful experience from start to finish. They were supposed to arrive between 9-10am. I heard nothing until I reached out at 10am, and the crew didn't show up until noon -- after calling me at 11am to ask what supplies they needed to pick up from Lowe's. For a company that advertises "White-Glove, damage-free service," they arrived without many basic supplies, including scissors. They asked to use my quilt as a moving blanket and used my kitchen knife to cut tape and packing paper without permission, ruining the blade. The job was estimated at 4-6 hours and took 11 hours - they left my house at 11pm. I've hired full-service movers twice before with a comparable amount of belongings. Both times it has taken them under 4 hours. This crew spent over 6 hours just packing. Worst of all, my furniture was damaged, most of which was never wrapped or blanketed. Definitely not the "White-Glove, damage-free service" promised. I sent a formal written complaint requesting a partial refund and their insurance information to file a damage claim. No response in two weeks, even after reminder emails. I've noticed they sometimes respond to reviews here, even when they don't respond directly to customers so they pretend to care on this platform, but actually do not. Run away! We hired a moving company expecting professional service and unfortunately received the exact opposite. Despite paying for packing and protection services and providing moving blankets, our furniture and appliances were never properly wrapped. The crew repeatedly ignored instructions, packed the trailer incorrectly, and had to be constantly directed throughout the move. Some of the issues we experienced included: * Failure to properly secure the load until we insisted. * Boxes loaded before furniture, wasting valuable trailer space. * Storage totes opened and contents dumped into the trailer. * Damage to our refrigerator during removal from the house. * A dresser dropped down the stairs. * A broken leg on an antique cedar chest. * Inadequate equipment for the job. * Unprofessional behavior, including intimidation rather than customer service. The poor performance was so significant that the crew had to return the next day to continue the move, nearly doubling our costs and extending an already stressful process. Moving is stressful enough without having to supervise the crew, worry about damage to your belongings, and pay more because the job wasn't done correctly the first time. We're sharing this experience in hopes that the company will take responsibility and explain how they intend to make this right. We have documented damages and are seeking a fair resolution. This company is literally hopeless. They have no respect to talk to a women. Finally I got hold of a man today and I was trying to explain him my situation and he started calling me names. He said I can go to hell and that I was a bitch. Actually it's the other way around. Just because you don't want to pay for my damages the representative started yelling at me and called me all kinds of names. This says a lot about them and their character. This company and their people are definitely not worth staying around. They're inefficient, liars and have language issues. Very unfortunate experience, leading to more than 10,000 dollars worth of damage and a probable lawsuit in our future. Damaged our home by getting a sofa frame stuck in a door frame requiring all movers to get involved and ultimately having to force it through, damaging the door frame and denting hardwoods. (it was placed in our home unscathed in one piece). No moving blankets were utilized, a very basic principle of moving, despite being available in the moving truck. Photos say it all. And the movers did not once acknowledge the damage they did to our home or apologize. They do not care for your belongings and I wish this experience on no one else. Please do not use this company please. They are horrible company. The young men cursed a lot and talked about their criminal records. But the worse was their loading of my items with them not being tied down (I did not know I was to supply them and they did not tell me). Did not pack things correctly and took furniture apart but did not bag or put pieces together with item especially my sleep number beds and my grandson's bed ( found screws in his room after they had left) Now we need to unload everything and tie it down and secure heavy stuff. Also they didn't have their own equipment so used my screw driver and left pieces all over the house. Also they dropped my upright freezer off the dolly they had which was not supposed to be used on heavy appliances and did not have straps to hold it in place. As I said before do not use this company if you want to save your mind and valuables and money. Would give it no stars if able. Also Pods should not use companies such as Hire A Helper who would not checkout companies and personal that provide services. Shame on both. read more

I would leave a -5 stars if I could. Very unprofessional. They confirmed moving time the day before our move. The day of the move driver claimed to be lost and needed to speak with his supervisor and they would reach back out. Didn't hear back from the driver or the supervisor. Tried to call both back several times to be sent straight to voicemail. This move was originally scheduled for 10:45am and I only had the u-haul truck for a short amount of time. After 3:30pm I was left with no other choice but to hire another moving service. Poor communication, poor customer service, poor consideration. read more

While I'd like to write a positive review for this company for the work they did, I can not because they totally lied about replacing a bed that was damaged. When I sent them a picture of the broken bed as well as the replacement bed to order, I was assured they would file the claim and they even took down my new address to "ship the new one". Well, after multiple calls, texts and emails I have not heard anything from Qualon or anyone else at Ox and Bull regarding the replacement. This is a $2,000 bed!! I almost never post reviews, but I feel it is my duty as a fellow mover. We reserved this company via the U-Haul website when we reserved our truck to help an injured friend move. Ox and Bull were difficult to get in touch with (e.g., no response to email or text, voicemail box full), and they never initiated pre-move contact with us. Once I was able to reach them on the phone, I gained some confidence that we were set for our move. The window of time for arrival that we agreed upon was 10-11am. At around 10:50 am, someone at Ox and Bull called to let us know the scheduled team was stuck in Atlanta, and they could send another team with approximate arrival time of 12:30. We had to cancel the service and load the truck ourselves with very few people. We were depending on Ox and Bull to load and then had another team of friends set to unload at the move-in location an hour away from the move-out location. We didn't have that much flexibility in our schedule. Had they let us know earlier, we may have had some time to secure some additional, even last-minute, resources. Very disappointed in our experience. Thankfully, they were rapid in refunding us the money we had paid at the time of our reservation through U-Haul. read more

Hired Ox and Bull to help us load our U-Haul for our daughter's move from Atlanta to Virginia. They communicated with me prior to the work and set me up with an appointment in the timeframe I asked. For. Kenny and JC were assigned to help us. We had loaded some of our boxes before they arrived. They scoped out what was that in the truck already and what was left in the apartment. Rearranged a few things and then quickly and efficiently wrapped the furniture in the pads I had rented, and loaded that and the remaining boxes onto the truck. They were very careful when moving things to the truck and as the loaded it. Finished the job in two hours and made sure I was satisfied when they were finished. Asked to make sure there weren't any other things to load, and then were on their way. I would highly recommend them for any packing and loading services and would definitely hire them again. Update after arrival in Virginia. Opened truck to unload, everything in place with no shifting. After unwrapping/unpacking no damage to anything. Great job. read more

I was told the moving crew would be there between 11:30-noon. I called at 12:24 to find out the status and was told they'd call me back with an update within 30 minutes. No call. I called them back 90 minutes later and we arranged to reschedule for 5:30pm, and they offered three movers to expedite the move. I asked that they call or text me if they were going to be late since I had already wasted hours waiting for them. No call or text that they'd be late, so I cancelled the service at 5:32pn. If I hadn't already spent so much time waiting earlier in the day I probably wouldn't have been so quick to cancel, but not once were they proactive in communicating the status of the crew or any delays. Moving is always a pain, but these guys made me feel comfortable from the initial call to the last box was out of the truck and in to my new place. Arrived a little later than expected, but I fully understood with the way Atlanta traffic always is. Move occurred on May 29. Arrived almost an hour after their scheduled time and their packing job was terrible. Items were not secured within the truck and when we commented on the quality we were told 'I have been doing this for 20 years. I think I know what I am doing.' We specifically disclosed that we were moving 1800 miles and needed everything to be very secure for that long move. Within 2 hours of being on the road, the foot board of our bed frame fell on to a fragile box of expensive artwork because it was not secured. We then had to climb into the truck to secure the footboard as best we could for the remainder of the trip as well as other items that were moving around. When we arrived at our destination, many boxes and items were damaged despite being labeled fragile. Glass was shattered, boxes punctured and furniture damaged. When we unloaded, the helpers were floored with how bad of a job was done and how much was damaged. The unloaders called their boss and said we should put in a claim. Safeload insurance has refused to cover the damage, and neither Uhaul or Ox & Bull will help us. Would not recommend this company as we have $3000 in damages and safeload insurance is garbage. read more

I booked this moving company through U-Haul/MovingHelp and their communication was terrible. I had to call them to get a time that they would be here which I was told between 1-2 PM. It is 2:30 the day of and I haven't heard from them, so I called with no response. I left a message, no call back. I emailed them, no response. At around 3:30 PM I called U-Haul to see if my things were picked up and they weren't, so I contacted MovingHelp who reached out to them and they said they had been trying to contact me to get me rescheduled. I still have not heard from them, so I had to cancel and rebook. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend. Moving is stressful enough without the added stress of companies not being reliable. read more

These guys really dropped the ball on my move. UHaul didn't send the Uboxes that were ordered, but OBL did no follow up to make sure they could deliver. They never called to confirm - I had to call them. Then, they told me movers would show up on a certain day/time when they hadn't even confirmed the Uboxes were available. (They weren't!) I spent hours on the phone but had to cancel the whole thing. Very poor management of my order and leaving me high and dry is not acceptable! It cost me a lot of money to have to make a whole new moving plan at the last-minute! Their phone number is just a Google voice number that seems to forward to a cell phone. Shady from the start.
