The prices for tires here are really great. But I came in and had my tires replaced, and the tech had no idea what psi to sent them to. So after starting my car after getting home from the tire shop, all of my tires are under deflated. How do you not know the proper psi for the tires are installing not only is this a huge inconvenience, but a safety concern. Now instead of having two tires with a problem all four of them do soooo thanks for nothing

I can't thank Oxnard Tires enough for their fast and reliable service. After discovering a nail in my tire, a friend recommended I check them out. The next morning, I drove straight there, and luckily, they weren't too busy when I arrived. As soon as I parked, one of the workers came over. I explained the situation, and after a quick look, he spotted the nail and asked me to wait a couple of minutes. Shortly after, he had me pull up closer to the shop. I stayed in the car while he jacked it up, removed the tire, and rolled it away for the repair. In what felt like no time at all, he was back with the patched tire and had it reinstalled. When I asked how much I owed, he simply directed me to the office to pay--and just like that, I was back on the road with money saved and peace of mind. I truly appreciate the honest, no-fuss service and the work they do for the community. These guys are a Godsend, and I'm incredibly grateful. Thank you again, Oxnard Tires!

Service fee of $20 to change the tire that the guy didn't mention upfront. What a rip off for a used tire. My son went there and was told $50 . Once he paid they added an additional $20. I called the shop and whoever answered said yes $20 to change tire and hung up. Unprofessional

I had a nail in my run flat tires and needed to get it patched. I've been to Oxnard Tires before for a patch so I was happy they were able to do a run flat tire. I looked at my tech, Ashmeal, as he did the whole process and I'm content. Only time will tell how long they hold up. But I would do an update if anything. Jorge was kind. The team were nice. And it's very busy.

5/18/24 DO NOT RECOMMEND Hi yelpers! I don't yelp to often but need to get into the habit of it more because some businesses make solving issues a bit more of a headache and stressful. I came here because of another shops bad service. Right away had what I needed. Gave me a discount so thank you guy at front. But deep down I feel they could've been worth less. HOWEVER, it's just near the end of my service. One of the specialist throws the tire 1-2 feet away into my vehicle. Shocking. 20 minutes later now the reality is hitting. Then, I called the man at the front after being in shock. Called explaining what I experienced as a customer. In the end they said they cannot help me resolve this. And he tired to play off that he gave me a discount before hand. Believing it would substitute for the man throwing the tire into my car after a price was settled on. NEXT, So if a tech treats it like that in front of me. Imagine how nice he is treating your wheels when they take them to the back. There shop has a wall of tires and the machines behind it. Only could hear not see them work it. FINALLY, DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

I have the absolute worst luck with getting nails in my tires! I don't know why my car has become a nail magnet but I'm not liking it! But I digress - Oxnard Tires was so helpful in replacing my tire. I was in and out of there in minutes. I recommend coming early if you can as it's a shared lot with Castle Automotive and it gets a little tight with cars every which way.

This is a great little shop. No corporate run-around or upselling, just a decent neighborhood joint that will give you a good deal on tires. When I came it was a little busy so I waited a few minutes, but I didn't feel ignored and once they got around to me things moved quick. Jorge, the store manager, told me exactly what I needed, which was good since I barely know what a tire looks like. He quoted me $140 for a pair and I was pretty amazed to find that my bill was -- wait for it -- $140. No labor, tax, shipping, handling, nasty tire dumping fees. So a real good experience and highly recommended. read more

I work near a construction area and get nails in my tires all the time. So happy this place is close by. The guys here are so nice and friendly. They always patch my tire in minutes. They never try to up sale me. The only time they sold me a new tire is when i had 10 patches in one of my tires and they said it couldn't be patched anymore. I come here all the time and have never been disappointed! read more

Yay...found a nail in my tire on a Sunday! Not exactly how I wanted the day to start off, but, oh well. Could not find a place open on Sundays, until I stumbled upon Van Nuys Tire. Not only are they open on Sundays, they're awesome to boot! I was in and out of there in 10 minutes...not kidding. It was like being in the "pit" on a racetrack. They did a fantastic job, were thorough, and really nice and professional. Checked all of my tires too before sending me on my way. $15 to patch...excellent price! All the reviews here are true! I had a flat tire and went to get it patched this morning. I was worried that they won't patch my tire since the nail was towards the side. The guy was honest and informed me that he can patch it up but there's no guarantee that it will completely seal the hole. Given the fact that I have a Mercedes and each tire costs $250+, I immediately agreed to patch it up for $25. I have had a flat tire before and the place I went to didn't even give me the option of patching up my tire and tried to sell me a new tire instead. Needless to say, I'm quite happy with the service and the fact that I saved money! I was in and out in under 10 minutes! I've driven my car for about 30 miles since the patch and the tire sensor on my car shows no leak. Yay! Will be back. read more

This was my first time having to get a tire patched. I made sure to read plenty of reviews. Van Nuys Tires had the most consistently good reviews and I'm glad I gave them a try. Everyone is right in that they are FAST! That's something I look for. They were very nice and efficient! I went early in the morning and I was in and out in about 15 min at the most! I came here today to get my tire fixed since I had a nail on the edge of my front tire. I called ahead of time to ensure they would still be open by the time I got there. Jose ensured me that even if I came at 5:59 he would have still helped me which I thought was nice since Pro Tires in Sherman Oaks told me I had to be there before 5 since they close at 530. Jose and his team suggested I get a new tire since my old one was demolished. I got a used tire for $50 and it was fixed in 10 minutes. Great service, great prices! I'm a fan! read more

Horrible Tire Shop. I payed 400 dollars bought 4 used tires run-flat tires, less then 2 weeks later i notice my tire pressure is low. Took it to a different tire shop and the gentlemen said "that all my tires have bubbles in it." When i took it back to Van Nuys Tire the owner did nothing for me and all he said was "No warranty on used tires" It's no coincidence that all four of my tires have BUBBLES.... Wouldn't recommend wouldn't go back to Van Nuys Tires and I actually have been coming here for years for tires. Lost a loyal customer! read more

This morning my tire started to shred on my way to work. I yelped the closest tire spot and found this place. I called them for a quote on used tires and the guy over the phone was super helpful in helping me locate the tire size so that I can get a more accurate quote. Once I arrived I was helped right away I only spent a max of 5 mins to get 2 tires replaced. I will def be returning. I was way more than impressed with their service. read more

Very happy. They are open on Sundays, which is great and I showed up a little after 9 am and was given a quote which was 10 dollars a tire less than pep boys. Got two tires and one patched and was done in less than 30 minutes and for less than 200 dollars. Much better than I expected. Will go back and I think the BF will as well when he needs tires. read more

Wow, these reviews weren't kidding; these guys are insanely efficient. Pulled my car in to repair two tires. They spotted the spare and the one in the front with a nail in it immediately. Within 5 minutes both of my tires were in the back getting patched. Within another 10 minutes my tires were back on my car, good as new. The whole process took less than 15 minutes and the price was great as well. These guys are friendly, very experienced, very professional and could probably do just as good of a job if they were blind-folded. read more

After getting there, I don't get his name but he had a bald head. He inspected the tire and found the area where the tire was punctured. They patched the tire and was kind of enough to give some recommendations which I know most places wouldn't but he still presented his concerns on why I should get a new or used tire. I ended up just patching it because I normally get my tires from another place. The patching wasn't expensive, it only cost me $25 but I was solid for a few days until my new tire was ordered. They came to me - took off the popped tires and returned with 2 brand new about 30 min later. I would have had to tow my car twice to manage the situation. they saved me so much money and stress. When I call,…read morea guy with a middle eastern accent says, I close at 11, and when we punch in the address to get there, it said closed at 10. Like, what? There already, I was annoyed. When I called him to verify he was open and we didn't waste our insurance tow miles, he tells me oh, cash only, (weird) and oh I close at 11, when are you going to be here? Very persistent guy, no empathy whatsoever because of the fact we just got a flat tire in this doomed state full of potholes. We get there and as our tow truck driver leaves us and takes off, the guy on the phone wasn't even there, he's like big brother or the godfather, boss of everyone, but he never shows his face. The attendant is short and not nice as well, he says oh 150 for a new tire and that's it. He tells me to call the godfather to see if he'll go lower, to which he says ok 130. Like, prices shouldn't be negotiable, your product is what it is, that's a huge red flag. That tire is probably 50 bucks brand new, I don't recognize the brand but we needed one and it was the only place nearby that was open. They attendant took a while to make me a receipt, just hands it to me and walks over to another customer that was there. No thank you, see you later or have a good night. Complete disregard for their customers and no manners. No wonder they have like a 3 star rating. Never coming here again, if I don't need to. Save your money and go with a trusted business that treats you like a human being. PS: looked up the price of the tire we got, it's 75 dollars, got charged 130. DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!!

I Went There 3 Years Ago, To Get A Tire Patched, And The Undocumented Immigrant, Illegally Working There, Asked, What Model Car It's For. I Asked, "What Difference Does That Make?" He Gave A B.S. Answer That, "It's Different Tires For Different Cars." I Said Mercedes Benz, He Said, "$25." Earlier This Year, I Needed A Tire Patched. I Thought, "Let Me See If These Scam Artists, Pull The Same Stunt, That They Did To Me Before. The Same Thing Happened. A Tire Needing A Patch Should NEVER BE OVER $15. 3 Years Ago, I Went To Cali Tires At 13145 Sherman Way NoHo, And My Peruvian Compa, Hooked Me Up for $15, Just Like He Has Been Charging Me, For The Past 20 Years. One of my tires was in such a bad condition that it was smooth all over. I hate the fact that tires cost an arm and a leg, and I didnt have the fund to replace all my tires, let alone buy a new one. My mom told me that this place sells used tires in good condition for only $30! They installed the tire relatively fast, check the pressure on all my tires and I was off. But as i was driving my wheel began to shake and my car felt weird. I turned around and came back and without any questions whatsoever they replaced with with a different tire, check the pressure again for good measure and I was off again...for the second time. This place is definitely the broke mans alternative to replacing your tires. Or if your just a cheap O bargain hunter. ;) read more

I just stopped by Van Nuys Tire because I thought the tires on my Jeep needed to be replaced. Luis approached me as soon as I drove in, and within a couple of seconds he said that my tires were in great shape and all they needed was air, he immediately did that and sent me on my way. My ex-husband used to take care of this kind of stuff so this was a first for me and It looks like I landed in the right place, if Luis had told me I needed new tires (like I thought I did), I was ready to do it. My take on this, THESE GUYS ARE VERY HONEST, I will for sure return when I have the need for their service in the future. Thank you so much to Luis, Gerardo and Jorge!!!! read more

Great experience here. I bought a set of 4 tires online, and just needed to get them mounted and balanced. Other places I've been to have grumbled about not buying tires through them, or tried to upcharge me. But this was super easy. Drove in. Told 'em the scoop. Walked home, and they were done in less than an hour. Car related stuff has a tendency to take all day, but this was so easy and simple, I'll definitely be back when I swap out the wheels on my other car later this year. read more

Very fast service the crew gets you in and out of there shop in no time. Very help full with all my questions I asked and the best part of this experiences was the cost I was able to get a practicably new tire but at a used tire price . Now that what I'm looking for!! Had a flat and went here to get it replaced. Their service was all right, but I think they screwed me on the price pretty bad. I found the same tire at two other places for a whole lot cheaper. I think they figured that since I had a flat and needed it replaced, they could charge me a little more. Not a big deal, but if you're looking for a deal, go somewhere else. read more

Drove in at 3:30 in the afternoon. Lots of business. Guy came out and asked me what i needed. I had a leaky back tire. He said to pull it right into the bay. He showed me the piece of broken glass that had penetrated my tire. They patched it and I was on my way. $25.00 later... worth every penny. The whole thing took about 15 mins. Amazing. I've come here twice with a flat tire. Both times, I was helped right away and the holes in my tires were patched on the spot for $25. The mechanics who helped were polite and friendly and didn't try to con me into buying a new tire or any other service. I appreciate these guys and their work. read more
