We're big fans of the Great American Restaurants group and usually dine at Coastal Flats, but we recently decided to revisit Ozzie's after quite some time. On our first visit back, we ordered the chicken Parmesan and their well-known ribeye. Both dishes were excellent--the chicken Parmesan was a standout, and the steak was delicious. On our second visit, we ordered the same items. While the chicken Parmesan was just as good, the steak wasn't quite as flavorful as the first time. Still, the service was exactly what we've come to expect from Great American Restaurants--attentive, friendly, and consistently reliable--which always makes for an enjoyable experience. One small note: the four-top tables feel a bit cramped. It can be tricky to fit an appetizer plate along with the entrées, and there's also a small knob underneath the table that my leg kept bumping into. Based on that, I'd recommend asking for a booth if possible. Overall, Ozzie's is another solid Great American restaurant that we're happy to recommend. read more

First time at this GAR. Liked the tuna taco appetizer Our friend had the ribs and side of Brussels sprouts. Loved them. My SO had the chicken parm. His linguini was one single clump of pasta stuck together in a ball. Wouldn't get again. I tried the jambalaya which was tasty, but had only 2 shrimp. Loved the Ozzie rolls, as usual. Wonderful place with plenty of weekend energy. Make sure to make reservations if you go on the weekend. I love the interior design of this place. The bar area is huge. Dining area is unique and plenty of places to hang your coats. Be careful to not eat too much of their yummy bread. It's Warm and sweet and very addictive. I tried the jambalaya for my main course. The goat cheese salad was also excellent but again, it could have been a bit better of a portion for the price. Okay so the food is absolutely phenomenal. Like literally everything we had was amazing. The rolls are to die for with the honey butter, the arancini was cooked to perfection, even the salad was tasty. I got the chicken Parmesan and my Italian girlfriend who has had every kind of pasta said it was some of the best she has ever had. Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because their system was down and we had to wait around 30 minutes past our reservation. Highly recommend for a great tasting meal. read more

First time here with my son. Great service from the minute we walked in. Super nice and friendly staff and helpful! Wes was our waiter, he said he was a guest server the night. My wife and I have been to most of the American Restaurants franchises (Artie's, Mike's All American, Coastal Flats, etc) and it's almost always a high quality experience - but this was probably the best. My wife and I both got chicken Parmesan, and absolutely loved it... the chicken stayed crispy even under the sauce. It was very tender, sauce had great flavor, and the noodles seemed homemade. It was actually surprising, no offense to the restaurant chain but we didn't expect to feel like we were eating at a fancy exclusively Italian restaurant - but that's what it tasted like. Our dinner guest got a hamburger and fries, and he gave a great review too. The other thing that stood out to us was the service, maybe we got lucky with our waiter but he was fantastic. A quiet younger kid, but super on top of things. We har some special requests (EG I wanted penne noodles instead of the normal) and he made sure we received everything we asked for, and also kept our drinks refilled appropriately. He was there when we needed him, and wasn't hovering when we didn't, really the perfect balance in a server. We really enjoyed ourselves and we'll definitely be back! read more

I used to come here an awful lot with my sister when she lived in Fairfax. This was a place we had to come at least twice a month. It wasn't my sister's favorite, but she did really enjoy a few items off the menu. We would always start with the delicios calamari with marinara and lemon to squeeze all over them and parmesan cheese. Hot, delicious, and bright with lemon drizzle. So delicios with appropriately fried calamari. I could eat that daily. My sister loves the filet mignon or Ribeye with sauce and mashed potatoes as well as the bacon Brussel sprouts. The meat is perfect "Pittsburgh" style with a great char on the outside and a lovely pink middle. My always go-to is either a salad most of the time and then, at times, the crazy lasagna. The crazy lasagna comes hot, cheesy, meaty, and scrumptious. The beat ball on the top is just....chefs kiss. Very flavorful and homey! A very tasty lasagna. One reason to always go are the delicious ozzie rolls. Fresh rolls that are lightly fried , hot, and have a hint of sweetness. They are very addicting as they are very tasty! Another item I used to take for me to eat later is definitely the flour less chocolate waffle served hot with soft vanilla ice cream (tastes so perfect) and drizzled with chocolate syrup. It creates a symphony with every bite. You may want to share as the dessert is very rich and decadent. The employees here are always upbeat and funny. Can't wait to go back. read more

I came here for a friend's bday and they made the experience especially when they brought out the drinks and shook them right in front of us. The food was good and filling I got a pasta and had to take some home because it was so much food. The restaurant was very busy so I probably recommend getting a reservation for dinner time. De toute façon, je suis allé au bar et j'ai remarqué que cet environnement était si bizarre et étrange. Puisqu'il n'y avait pas de formalité ou de soin qui m'agaçait comme noble Français. En outre, j'ai passé la commande gentiment et l'ai donné en argent complet, mais a été raccourci et cette jeune fille portant un maillot américain de football qui avait des lunettes et des cheveux blonds aussi. Elle était agacée par moi pour être si formellement française et si stricte à ce sujet. Je lui ai demandé si elle suivait et tout ce qu'elle disait pas vraiment. Puis il y avait un gars qui travaillait au bar et après avoir eu le mauvais changement et lui a montré ma calculatrice du changement que je devais obtenir puis il s'est plaint que son collègue court change tous les clients comme d'habitude. Leaning 3,5 stars, but will try again. Such a cozy, typical American eatery for any day of the week. Gives me Clyde's vibes, but actually the menu is slightly more eclectic. Started off with the infamous bread rolls, which I have to admit were warm and filling, but too "doughy", almost like donut holes for me. Unfortunately we could not try any appetizers cause our server forgot about it, and disappeared for at least half an hour with no backup. The entrees come with a pretty large field salad which is fresh and tasty. The entree portion, at least for my blue cheese crusted filet, was on the smaller end. Ended up with the tiramisu, which lacked chocolate sauce IMO. Overall, decent, family-friendly experience, cozy vibes for the holidays around the bar area. May have a wait. read more
