We bought a whirlpool refrigerator the beginning of September of this year. Not even a month goes by and the freezer starts frosting up. I had to throw food out because of freezer burn. Two weeks later the same thing happened. PC Richards won't do anything. They said we have to have a repairman come out at least three times to fix it. The repairman said the freezer isn't sealed properly. THIS IS A NEW REFRIGERATOR. We wanted them to take it back and we would buy a different model and even upgrade but they refuse to do it. This is a piece of junk and no one can help you bee are stuck with it. read more

Buyer Beware. I purchased a television for my wife for her birthday, it was a surprise. I explained this to my salesman and made sure I was able to return it if she didnt like or want it and also needed to make sure it would fit where she wanted it to go. The salesman said it was no problem, so I went ahead and purchased it. My wife did not care for the television as it was not much larger than the one we already had. When I returned it one week later ( Their online return policy states 30 days)...I was informed by the RUDE customer service agent Brittany that televisions are NOT returnable if the box is opened...How do you give someone a gift and expect them not to open the box? She went on to say that it is on the receipt, and yes in this tiny print its there reinforcing her verbiage, however, the Salesman said something much different to me, and this is just absurd. There is also no mention of this fact on their online return policy that I saw. Now previously within the last few years spent almost 20K on an entire kitchen from them, however it was a different more friendly store than this one. DO NOT BUY TELEVISIONS HERE if you may need to return them. Brittany did refund me for the television in the end, but it was an extremely upsetting and frustrating road to get there. In line ahead of me was another gentleman with a similar problem getting just as aggravated as myself. Trust me, there are better places to spend your money....NEVER AGAIN. read more

This is a long review, even though it is a very shortened story but anyway who's buying anything important for their home should absolutely read! The very short of it is that I was sold an appliance package on the premise that the particular brand had no wait time despite others having a standard wait like most things at this time and at the most would take 6-8 weeks. After 5 months, we were still missing the stove and my weekly/biweekly check ins were always left at "We're getting some in next week." We finally learned we were never told that we were for example number 1XX on the list and only 10-20 come in per delivery. Finally after 2 weeks of calling several times a week, our sales person told us he could get us on the next delivery and for a discount to make up for his poor communication leading up to this. He never got us on the delivery/contacted us and when I called the store to find out what happened, it happened that we were not anywhere on schedule to get this stove as promised and they even said that they don't know why I was told what I was. To reconcile this, I went directly to customer service and they put me in contact with the Regional Manager, who offered to upgrade us to an in stock stove for the price of what we originally owed without the apologetic discount for my previous disappointment. If this part of the experience wasn't so bad I don't know that I'd be so compelled to write a review. My experience with the Regional Manager, although bringing a resolution, was completely unpleasant. He spent the phone call completely talking over me and when I read him a section of the NJ Consumer Fraud Act stating that we should have at least been satisfied with an greenest 60 days after purchase, he interrupted me to tell me that I was technically not right, despite me reading it directly from the law, that because it was "Covid." I again reinforced that I knew they couldn't make a stove appear out of thin air but that I should have been contacted to agree upon their status. (There's no clause in those laws for covid anyway!) We finally found someone that was doing the legal duty to "honor and satisfy" a consumer but he was m condescending and wouldn't even listen to what I wanted him to know about them not abiding by their legal duties. The problem this entire time has been with the lack of expectations being managed and being given a non-stop runaround. Myself, my family and friends are totally put off from PC Richards altogether and I was influenced by many others to send in this review to the BBB and dept of consumer affairs. Completely appalling experience from what has always been a go-to store in that category. read more

Shopped for a microwave countertop oven here at Brick, New Jersey. I have been sold added wires in the past that were half the price elsewhere. I also bought a TV here discounted model that was so complicated to use, a so called smart TV that must of been a first generation model, thats not worth the box it came in....The microwave I wanted was thirty dollars higher then Walmart, same model, same color. The salesperson agreed with me to price match as I said its cheaper at Walmart. He thoroughly checked my proof and also scrutinizing my proof. Then politely said ," the microwave was out of stock at this PC Richard store and they only had the floor model". I quickly exited the store and went to Walmart, made the purchase and got an extended warranty for six dollars for two years., half the price PC Richard wanted for a warranty extended plan. Over priced across he board. I suggest you check your prices before going here.....I will never go back........ I also suggest you stay away from this PC Richard store.... read more

OK, so I did write a review in 2014, but listen to this. My washing machine went to laundry heaven on Sunday 11/1/2015. I was going to call for a service appointment with Sears, and I did. They were supposed to come on Monday, morning window, on 11/2. November 2 comes and I get a call that the tech is sick and Sears would not be able to come till Wednesday. I was not happy. I canceled the appointment. Figuring that the washer was 10 years old and basically was run every day in the that time, I went to PC Richards on Monday morning, bought a Whirlpool front loader. I would have it Tuesday morning. Next day delivery! 8am Tuesday morning, the delivery came. Old machine removed. Frank and Chris were terrific. Frank even helped with cleaning the area after the old machine was removed. New machine placed, connected, and done. Just reinforces that PC Richards is number 1 in my book. They are my go to guys. Our experience on Aug 2, 2019 purchasing a new TV was made so much better by dealing with Jason the manager and Dylan our salesperson. The manager, Jason, listened to our concerns and our Sales Rep Dylan provided us with options in a TV that we would be happy with. They went out of their way to give us a good bargain and have developed a relationship with us based on their dependability and honesty. Visited the Brick NJ location 3 times within 2 weeks recently to shop for Washer, Dryer, and Freezer. Each time the prices on every appliance we looked at were higher and did not match the PC Richards online price thus the 3-star rating - seemed dodgy. Two salespeople blamed others for "playing with" the tags which are removable and fit into plastic slots. On all three appliances we were considering? Hmm. Make sure you price check while you're in the store. Other than that, the salespeople are pleasant and seem knowledgeable. Found that with any appliance purchase, best to rate and compare online before you buy. We did buy all three appliances at the Brick PC Richards because past experience with the company at another location had not disappointed. Just beware of the price tags here. Amended review: The night I posted the above review, I received a call from an assistant store manager followed the next day by a call from Jason the store manager. Both apologized for the experience and said the issue re the price tags would be addressed. Jason further assisted us with additional information and photos for the installation of the washer/dryer. In addition, he credited my AMEX card with a price adjustment as per their price guarantee. So it remains to be seen if the price tag situation will be corrected, but Jason did go above and beyond in customer service. I have since raised my review from 3 to 4 stars. read more

Very disappointed with PC this time around. I've purchased three tv's: a kitchen set and a washer and dryer, all within the last eight years, except for one tv. I've always been satisfied with PC when I ever I called. This time was the exception. I finally took advantage of a Chrismas sale in 2017 with a purchase of an OLED LG. A beautiful tv for sure except for a burnt image I noticed a month ago. I called PC store since I paid 300 dollars for a service contract. I was told that PC does not cover screens. I pointed out that the sale person told me it did when I was reluctant to purchase the added protection. The woman then told me she would check into and call me back on Monday; never received a call. I then called LG. LG wanted to see a sales slip and a picture of my burn image, which I supplied. Without further debate, LG ordered the screen and had the unit repaired in a week. The end of the story is that LG made good on their product and PC Richards didn't. I will continue to purchase LG products only not at PC Richards. read more

The service that we gotten from the Brick store mainly Brittney and Jason the store manager has been outstanding, My problem is with the service man that was sent to my home. We were met with " Who put this in Russian, Mexican or Greek" !! When he was referring to the stove that was put in my home. As a recently retired 25 year Law Enforcement Officer I have dealt with many different situations. I have never had anybody come into my home and say anything like this service man said in my home. We reported the problem to service department told them we did not want (Richard) back in our home.2 weeks went by did not hear anything about the broken oven door. Called service again for some reason it was not in the system. This morning same guy (Richard) called he was told we asked for someone else to install the door. I really don't understand why he would think it was OK for him to come into anybody's home to make racial comments. read more

bought a sharp aquos 70" tv set from this store. it was delivered and installed yesterday by steven & his helper. they were both extremelly competent & professional. they answered all our questions & worked together with our direct tv representative via phone to set up our system. their workmanship was very clean & smooth. our screen was hung on the wall and looks beautiful with no wires showing.they showed us how to use the remotes and explained the features that came with our set. i also would like to commend anthony the salesman who worked with me to select the model and the price for which i was searching. he was very knowledgeble & understanding and helped me select the proper finance package. i am truly pleased with this store's buying process. i was a pc richard customer in long island for many years and am continuing our relationship with the brick nj store. love my new tv & thanks for making it possible. andy rizzo barnegat,new jersey. read more
