P.F. CHANGS, BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FROM HELL Yesterday started out to be the perfect day to celebrate my wife's birthday. Five of us met at P.F. Changs at the Flat Irons in Broomfield, CO. to celebrate. Family talking and having a great time. Then all HELL breaks loose. One of their waiters dumped a full tray of food down my wife's back. It was a mess. Thank God she was not severely injured by one of the broken dishes when it hit the chair. Then they moved us to a new table. I'm still trying to calm down from this, as it ruined the celebration. After 1 hour, we finely get our meals. TOTAL CRAP. Then it seemed like they forgot all about us. They removed my wife's meal from the ticket. The manager asked my wife to send her the cleaning bill. $140.00 later, it's time to go. I think the total bill should have been on P.F. Changs. I love PFC food, but Flat Irons PFC is the place to avoid. read more

Boy they have really expanded the menu, I could see that they are wanting to appeal to a wider audience which is cool. I sat at the bar for lunch and it was good. Hey I know it's not too hip to frequent chain restaurants, but I love PF Changs... I could eat their Mongolian beef everyday! The ahi tuna appetizer is also a favorite of mine. I have never had a bad experience at a PF Changs, and thankfully I didn't this day either. read more

I've recently started trying to eat vegan for health reasons. I thought Chinese would have some good options and wanted to try PF Changs. Our server suggested a vegetarian dish with tofu Buddha's Feast which advertises "five spice tofu, savory sauce...". This was the worst vegan meal I've ever had! There was maybe one ounce of tofu sliced thin and had no flavor whatsoever. It seemed like they just opened a new package of tofu, sliced it and plated it without any preparation. We used to frequent P.F. Chang's every 2 weeks before the remodel. We came today about 3:30pm, and stood at the front desk for 10 minutes waiting for the hostess to get off the phone all while 8 servers stared at us from the bar area. She then took another 3 minutes to figure out which table would have a server. In the first 10 minutes of sitting down we had 3 different servers who didn't communicate to one another. Our drink order (a happy hour pitcher of beer and soda) took 12 minutes (we were at the bar tables), and the soda ran out of refills twice, and we had to ask for more. The meal was supposed to have broccoli in it, came, and did not. We had to ask for plates, and told our server about the broccoli, and there was no apology or excuse. It was definitely a slow time, and wait staff were constantly standing around, yet service was subpar. Apparently after the remodel they forgot how to function as a restaurant. Huge disappointment! Also, 3 other tables complained about service while we were there. I would stay away until they figure out how to be the restaurant they used to be. We would hope they fix their issues so we can return, as we used to. read more

Possibly the worst Asian cuisine I have eaten in my life, although I am not sure, if I should call it Asian. The thai chicken harvest curry, was missing chicken, the brown rice did not make an appearance. I got an experience of how cows feel when they eat raw vegetables, as the brocolli in mapo tofu was not cooked at all. Went there for dinner tonight. Silverware was wrapped in black napkin. Opened it up and stuck on food was on silverware. Asked for manager his name was Scott. Showed him and he said he would bring me clean silverware. Already lost my appetite and he never brought me clean silverware. He was sitting at a corner table with a server. I love this place. I really love the bartenders hat have been here for years. Allison is completely amazing and so much fun to hang out with. Unfortunately, they recently updated their menu and took off my two favorite dishes: hot fish and Dan Dan noodles. Hence the 4 stars rather than 5. Service was poor. While me and my husband sat there with our cups empty you saw a group of services standing and socializing together. The service was eh but th food was even worse. I haven't had a good experience the first time I went to pf changs but my husband wanted to be optimistic. I ordered sesame chicken since that's moderately difficult to demolish, but NOPE. I hated it. I have never had such bad chicken before. My husband ordered Mongolian beef and it was sooooo salty. It was as if salt was poured onto the dish..... Last month my friends and I went to lunch at PF Chang on a Wednesday. The service was slow even though we were the only ones in there. Could not get our server to get plates for entree's. When it came time to leave, all of my food was not boxed up. When I called and talked to the manager (Bob, which probably was not his real name) I was told I would be getting an gift certificate to cover the price of my entree. Great service is hard to find, especially Friday prime time, but we found it! We made a reservation and used a gift card. Love the lettuce wraps. They've been consistent for years. Our entres were very good. We knew we wanted the Great Wall of chocolate cake before we finished our meals, because we spied it on another table. It's enough for 6 people. We took 2/3 of it home, for 2 more desserts each! I'm not a chocolate cake dessert kinda person, but this I highly recommend. They sent us home with extra raspberry ganache sauce. Yum! read more

We had a good experience here. I would consider the cuisine to be higher than standard Chinese food, but not quite "high end." For appetizers we ordered pork dumplings (steamed). They were good, but tasted like any other dumpling, so it didn't stand out to us. We also ordered chicken egg rolls. The rolls were good, but the sauce is what we really enjoyed. I'm not sure what all was in it, but you could definitely get a mustard taste, which was a pleasant surprise. My husband ordered the chicken lo mein. The noodles and vegetables were tasty, but he chicken portion was dry. I ordered Chang's spicy chicken with brown rice. The chicken was good, nice heat level, but I found the quantity to be smaller than a "standard" Chinese restaurant. As far as popular restaurant chains go, this is good. I'm glad we went (how we went 30+ years of our lives without going to one before, I'll never know!), but I think we will only go again if friends invite us along. The drink you argued with us about NOT EVER having was called a coconut lemon sour. You can google P.F. Chang's coconut drink and is the first to pop up. I suggest you re-think arguing with your customers and instead, help them find alternatives based on a description of what they are asking for. Clearly you changed your menu, but a helpful attitude over a poor one will increase your tip instead of cutting it in half. read more

Don't get me wrong I love this restaurant the food is amazing but this location has horrible management. After being told our wait time was 30-45 minutes we decided to stay but little did we know that wait would last an hour and 15 minutes. The call ahead seating kept pushing us down the list. But the most annoying part of this was watching more and more empty tables appear while we sat waiting for a table for 3 hungry. Love this restaurant but not this location. I advise to go to another location or do the call ahead seating. read more

I find PF Changs to be consistently good wherever I may be traveling. Most recent visit was to the location in Flatiron mall area in Broomfield, CO. We were a party of 4 adults with 2 small children. The food was great and the service was exceptional. Our server was friendly, attentive, and very patient with the kids. She never seemed frustrated. RUDE hostess misquoted time, went to seat me in a booth said "sorry this is not for you please give us a few more minutes"... then tried to sit 5 adults at a table for 4 and got super upset with me when I said we couldn't comfortably sit there. She said "listen honey I'm dealing with alot of people trying to do the best I can" she was a rude young condescending hostess. My family left while I waited to talk to the manager...he was nice but not terribly interested in making up for the awful experience. Took for ever to get our food and then never came back to check on us on how our food was until done had to ask for refills. Reading the menu it states at the top that the portion sizes are big enough to share. I don't know about you but any Chinese, Japaneses ect. restaurant Ive ever eaten load you up on food especially for what this place charges it should have been loaded and it was not. The plates where enough filled for one person, so for 3 entrees, 1 pork fried rice, 1 combination fried rice, 4 egg rolls and waters the bill was $97 we where leaving hungry. Spoke with the manager of their sizes and stated they are not enough to share. He informed us that's just the way it was sorry we felt that way, and sorry we had a bad experience with the waitress, and did nothing. So here I am doing something about it. There for was okay nothing to brag about. Heaven Dragon in Thornton out does them by far. Their food, portion sizes feed 4 people, the prices are amazing and the service is above and beyond.
