We ordered food to celebrate Mother's Day on Thursday May 7, 2020. We had a dedicated pick up time for Sunday May 10, 2020 at 4pm. When we arrived on Sunday at 4PM we were told the food was not ready and that we would have to come back. We were trying to be understanding given that it's Mother's Day and we get how things can get pretty hectic. We came back two hours later (I.e 6PM) and was told the food was still not ready and that it would be an additional 35 minutes! I don't understand how we ordered this from Thursday and this wasn't organize by Sunday. This was horrible and there is no excuse for this level of disorganization and preparation. The only reason for the three stars is that the sushi upset my stomach a couple times, and the dessert were lackluster in taste. I love going to dine here. The other day the bartender made me the most amazing drink called The Dragon that had rosemary smoke in it. He was so busy and had to run the whole bar by himself and I counted 7 tables but he was on top of everything with no help and it was amazing. And he had funny jokes and made great recommendations and was so pleasant and so fun. The restaurant is lucky to have Kevin. He's the best bartender I ever met! I never thought I would say I had the best cocktail of my life at a Chinese restaurant in a mall, but that's the truth! And I've been to New York City! Mother's Day nightmare! I hate to trash a business that decided to stay open during a pandemic but what was experienced today is just poor management. Placed an online order for pickup 2 days in advanced. When we arrived, they advised they are running 2 hour behind. Crappy but we waited. 2 hours came and went. No communication and many unhappy people waiting in the parking lot. Manager actually called the police because people were waiting by the door with questions about where their order was! I understand things happen but just be honest! If you can't honor an order due to being overwhelmed, let the people know so they can find something else to eat. Been coming here for years because we loved it so much -- tonight, a wonderful relationship has been ruined. Service was terrible, 10 minutes to even see a waitress, and the wait for sushi was almost a joke. The food is not what it used to be; dry, cold, tasteless... sad! We sat by patiently as our dishes piled up on our table waiting to be taken away. We eventually had to ask someone to clean up our table a little bit so we would have room to eat. The food was horrible, the rice was not fully cooked it was crunchy. The sushi fell apart and was basically just rice and thick seaweed, i dont know who is rolling their sushi but they should switch chefs. My wife and I had dinner there on 1/23/20. Nothing was as expected. Everything was old and needed refurbishing. The food was way below average for what P.F. Chang got us used to. The Dynamite Shrimp which had more breading than shrimp and was lumpy. The bbq ribs were cold and had a weird smokey taste. The crispy avocado rolls were decent. The chicken in the spicy chicken soup had a weired taste. No sauce was offered to us. The Changs spicy chicken had no taste. The white rice had brown things in it. The broccoli in the vegetable lo mein was old and yellowing. Will not recommend this location. Gives the name a bad reputation. read more

Went yesterday for lunch with a friend and extremely disappointing. I remember years ago this place was great. The building and menu have not been maintained and both were dirty - sticky, smelly, and dusty. Fire cracker shrimp tasted like dirty oil, Mongolian potstickers were just gross, and lettuce wraps were just ok. Service was very subpar. If standards and building maintenance were up kept at this location this review may have been different. So many other good options in area to go to eat - pick one of them. This is the second time we have ordered delivery from PF Changs for my mom. She lives in a senior residence and can't get out so we try to order in for her. She loved eating at PF Changs so we tried ordering. The first time, the food had no sauce and little flavor. So we tried again last night hoping for improvement. The crab wontons were burnt, the fried rice was dry, and overall my mom was so disappointed. She said to me last night she doesn't want us to order from them again. My review is specific to the PF Chang's at this location as I had good experience at other places.I went with a group of 5 on a sunday night at 10pm and ordered 2 appetizers ( chicken lettuce wrap and dynamite shrimp) both of which were ok. Thats where the good stuff ended for us. We got kung pao chicken which was just fried chicken with some sauce on it, a burnt mapo tofu extremely dry and a hot and sour soup which tasted like a sauce overload and worse than any mall food or food cart. The entrees were beyond unpalatable and we ended up making a stop at Taco Bell to help with our hunger. Service was good and we didn't have to pay for our entrees but we would have appreciated a headsup with our order due to the time of the day. It looked like the chef was gone for the day and somebody in the kitchen just decided to test his culinary skills on our order. It was a very disappointing experience and I'm never going back. read more

No food, arrogant nasty employee, no apology threatened to call police if I didn't get in my car. Ordered to go. Very disappointed in the portions. Paid $19 for a few pieces of beef -- and the Mongolian beef dish is supposed to be majority beef! The rice sure was plentiful though. Online ordering and take out was a breeze. Food was ready at least 15 minutes before expected, which was a plus. Tasted good, from what little there was. I've dined at numerous P.F.Changs around the US and have always had a great atmosphere and full belly. My recent experience was not the best visit I've had but it wasn't the worse. Our waitress was fantastic and on top of things but had mentioned they had new chefs on our side and informed us it might be a little longer than normal. When our appetizers arrived (we ordered dumplings and chicken lettuce wraps) the lettuce for the wraps were brownish and the meat itself was largely chopped when normally it is chunked smaller to ensure all was cooked properly which was not since most of the chunks were hard. The dumplings on the other hand were very good and very tasty. We also ordered drinks from the bar. These were only nothing Special. When our entrees arrived shortly after (ordered pork fried rice and spicy chicken) those were very good. P.F. Chang's has the best gluten free fried rice and we very much enjoyed our entrees. Overall the food quality for this particular outing wasn't up to par to what we are normally used to having while at P.F.Changs but the service was stellar and we enjoyed the atmosphere. read more

The lettuce wraps were not good at all . The tofu pieces were so less and many water chestnuts and sauces not good either. Its pretty overpriced. We ordered Shrimp Dynamite from appetizers and got a plate with only 6 shrimps. Later the hostess brought another plate saying I think the cook forgot to add all in your plate :) . The black pepper chicken looked awful so returned the dish and ordered Sushi. Its so overpriced again . The cook forgot to add a slice of fish on top on one of the sushis. I think Cook was very tired and it was pretty late at night. They should stop taking orders by 10 so late customers don't run into these kinds of issues read more

Having visited a number of P.F. Chang's restaurants over the past few years, I feel the one thing that almost always stands out besides the food is the impeccable and personal service. That is, until a visit to this location near the Freehold Mall. After being seated, it seemed like it took forever for a server to appear. When he did, it was blatantly obvious he had no interest in being at work that day. Sure, we've all felt that way, but in the service industry you need to check your problems at the door. He was slow, stoic and apathetic pretty much the whole time. I didn't even get a refill on my ice water until the manager came around and asked. However, I won't allow Dougie Downer to majorly affect the overall rating, aside from not giving it five stars, because the food is consistently satisfying. The lettuce wraps and Egg Drop soup always kick things off with a bang and the Kung Pao shrimp with peanuts and fried rice never fail to make me happy. Also, they thankfully changed their dessert options if you opt for the Four Course meal. I'd highly recommend trying the Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake Sweet Treat, a wonderful treat indeed. read more
