My first post covid reopening social distancing in place every other table is closed off with red table topper. The staff is wearing gloves and cloth masks I made a reservation at this capacity it seams full only a few tables without red toppers left. The server was great the food was good but the limited menu choices not so much. New Limited The temporary menu is very condensed missing a lot of my favorites like the Chilean sea bass. This was my first experience at P.F. Chang's and I was impressed. The food was delicious and great portion sizes for the price. We sat at the bar and got great service from Karissa! I never knew they could screw up Pf Chang's since it's usually a reputable chain. This place needs new management and a better trained kitchen staff to learn how to cook. I ordered my food via delivery. My brown rice was literally a water OATMEAL. Someone clearly put too much water in the rice cooker. My sweet and sour chicken tasted like DISHSOAP! It had a soap flavor and not much else... did they not rinse the dishes or something?? Ended up vomiting after trying to eat this inedible "meal"...It was that bad! I got the Mongolian beef and while it was pretty good, I thought the large green onions didn't bring enough to the dish. Adding a wider variety of vegetables would take this dish to the next level. NY cheesecake was decent as well. I'm nocking off a star because the prices feel just a little too steep. It had been a good 15 years since I set foot into a P.F. Chang's. The food never stood out to me so I never had the urge to go back. I decided to visit this new location with a group of 8 friends to see if I had been missing out on anything. Honesty, I could go another 15 years without P.F. Chang's. The wait was ridiculously long on the Friday night that we went. We were standing and waiting for a good hour. They were not very efficient in clearing tables quickly. The food was mediocre. I tried two types of soup, chicken fried rice, and Chang's spicy chicken. The food was not anything special. The actual atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and our waiter was great. read more

Fantastic Happy hour menu, including the Tempura Poppers ($3), which were delicious and great for sharing. The vegetable lettuce wraps were also very tasty. We stopped by for lunch in the middle of the week. Everything was really good. Beef and broccoli had a hint of ginger and I enjoyed the brown rice as an option. My husband recently had some dental work so he was just soup. The bowl came and it was huge! My daughter got fried rice and she liked it and even ate the leftovers. Delicious! Super friendly staff. You can't go wrong with classic dishes like the edamame, chicken lettuce wraps, or Mongolian Beef--my personal favorite! Pros: the food was very good, loved their Wednesday week nights special of unlimited lettuce wraps for $10. Easily the best decision of the night. I would say if you're in the mood for flavorful, Americanized Chinese food - this place is not it. I think this a great place to visit if you need a place with a great ambiance and decor, but if it comes to food this place was not it. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, crispy honey chicken, mongolian beef, mapo tofu, and chicken fried rice. Overall, the only food option that stood out was the chicken lettuce wraps. The mapo tofu was not at all what it should be (it should be drenched in sauce), and lacked flavor. I think the chicken fried rice was really bland, crispy honey chicken wasn't crunchy, and the mongolian beef was alright. I think the service was great though - so that the experience more enjoyable than the food itself. The only food option that excelled was the chicken lettuce wraps, which is an appetizer! I think if you're in the mood for Americanized Chinese food, I would go to Panda Express and save yourself some money. read more

Our dinner experience at P.F. Chang was a very pleasant one! We decided to eat there because we haven't been in years. We are from the Atlanta area and relocated to Gainesville, FL. In Atlanta there is usually a wait and the place is thumping with music, loud talking, and busy people scattering around. This location in Gainsville was nearly the opposite and I rather enjoyed it! It was quiet enough for group functions or family to enjoy. The music in the background was soothing. Great atmosphere! It only took a few minutes to be seated as several people showed up at the same time. However, we were able to sit in any section we wanted so we chose the bar area near the tv. Our waitress was Laura, the bartender. She was very pleasant, attentive, informative, and she was able to ask all the questions we asked! Separately I would give her a "5" star. She is a great multi-tasker who is able to handle every table she encountered and carried her pleasantries to each table. The food was delicious! It was fresh and bought to the table with perfect timing. We purchased appetizers and dinner. The food presentation was great! The food was hot and very tasty. As we finished eating we were greeted by Cleveland who deals with catering and other departments but he took time to greet customers and he spoke highly of the waiters and waitresses, the food, he pretty much introduced us to the personnel, asked us did we enjoy the meal and spoke about the company. He too knew his "stuff" and presented himself and the company well! Needless to say, we will be back! They received 4 stars instead of 5 due to the lack of notification of their location. It is neatly tucked around the corner from Cheesecake Factory, however once you drive in the direction of the sign there is nothing else directing you to them and you can't see the sign on the door. Additional instructions should be placed at the end of the street directing you to turn right. Usually, we would turn left because if you look right there is construction. I think that there would be more visits if there was a visual sign at the end of the street to let you know where they are located. Regardless go visit P. F. Chang for lunch or dinner! Ugh I hate to say it but the food has really gone down. My husband recommended us going because it's been a while since we've been and we were hungry. Yeah the food wasn't the best at all. I had heard that the food quality went down but until you actually go for yourself and experience it, I don't typically believe. I loved P.F. Chang's too; I used to go back in the day when I was in college but the food we had last night was nothing to be excited about. My husband was annoyed after we left because he just couldn't believe how bad the food was. We ordered an appetizer that had edamame, wontons, egg rolls and potstickers and his entree was orange chicken with fried rice, I ordered wonton soup with miso glazed salmon; fried rice looked old and dry and I didn't touch mine. The lettuce under my salmon was a little weird; I had the salmon before but the greens I don't remember them appearing like that and the wonton soup, hmm, well I had better. My husband chicken and rice both seemed dry just not the presentation and quality we are used to seeing. read more

I still can't believe we have a PF Chang's as the restaurant used to only be a treat my wife and I enjoyed when in Orlando or Jax. The food is consistently terrific in GNV as are the servers. The last 2 times we have had Ambi who is very friendly, super accomodating about requests to change / add certain vegetables / sauce to a dish or to make them gluten free, and notices that you're about to need a drink refill before you do. read more

Placed an online order at 20:30 with an estimated pickup time of 20:49. Received my food at 21:20. Employees are friendly enough, but there is zero and I really do mean zero sense of urgency at this location. Ironically, the number of staff seemed to outnumber the amount of customers present, but I'm fairly confident that even if there were no diners present, you'd still be waiting at least an hour for your food. So let's discuss the food. Should fried rice be slightly crunchy? I had the combo fried rice without pork (though I still got a large piece) and none of the meats were uniform in size. It was almost as if the meat was from a butchers scrap pile--just odds and ends (I see you vegans). As others have noted, there's no apologies for the long wait. One guy I saw had been waiting since before I arrived and he was still waiting for his food after I left. He looked so defeated each time they brought out an order and he realized it wasn't his. I did see one apparent off the clock employee come in and pick up a huge order. He helped himself to a nice icy beverage in the kitchen as his lovely and long unrestrained red hair dangled above the ice bin. If you get an iced tea with a red hair in it, I can tell you how it got there. I'm hoping he had at least washed his hands at some point before I noticed him. His hair did look clean if that's any consolation. My crunchy combo fried rice meal (which was lukewarm at best) ended with a P.F. Chang's fortune cookie. Food: I did not expect the food to be very authentic by any means. However it was so disappointing overall even with my low initial expectations. Our appetizer of fried green beans was greasy and heavy, especially paired with spicy mayo. With the soy sauce it was a little better, but it was still way too heavy and there was a pool of oil left. The pad Thai was surprisingly flavorful with a nice smoky flavor, but the veggies were uncooked- scallions were completely raw. The rice was completely overcooked and looked like it was out for at least an hour...did not look fresh. The mapo tofu was by far the most disappointing, with no spicyness- no flavor at all. The eggplant was also bland and did not even look appetizing. Both the mapo tofu and eggplant were listed as spicy dishes but they had zero amount of spicyness. I had to ask for spicy sauce to taste any flavor. Service: friendly servers but the food came out so slow ! Even though there were a lot of people that came in after we ordered, it should not take 40-50 minutes for our food to come out. The overall restaurant is designed to look trendy, but the lighting was so bright that we had to ask them to dim them so they were not blinding our eyes, and with the amount of people, it got so loud that we had to shout to hear ourselves. Food, service, and atmosphere were all extremely disappointing. As my friend says, "it's an Asian Applebee's" Will not be coming back. read more

The food is very fresh & prepared to order. We are "vegans" & prefer a variety of items which the staff will change out on our order. I like the light & airy feeling of the Gainesville location. Stopped by to get my free birthday appetizer. I had the printout and showed the email and the system still want allowing me to redeem. The staff was very friendly and patient as they tried to resolve. In the end they figured out a way to get me my birthday app and I chose the ribs. They were uniquely tasty and very good. Nice Asian twist on bbq ribs. They were fall off the bone tender which was amazing and they had the traditional sauce sticking to your fingers aspect. My favorite part were the pickled veggies on the side. Nice and refreshing. This location is new in Gainesville. It's in the middle of a construction area as more restaurants and businesses are still being completed. While parking is tight now the staff and food was great and make up for it. I loved the atmosphere here! Such a fun, upscale place for a girls night! We started with a delicious adult beverage. It was strong and tasty! We had the hand folded crab wontons as an appetizer. Meh. I LOVE crab wontons, but I will order something else next time. They were just kind of flavorless. :( The Pad Thai was really yummy! And the portion was good! After eating my fill, I was able to pack some up to go for lunch the next day! My friend got the shrimp Caesar and said it was good. Nothing too noteworthy about it. We came here on a Saturday afternoon. They seemed to be a bit understaffed. The ambience was pretty good for a large chain but out table was wobbly which was a bit irritating. Beautiful place Facilities and the bar are great A lot of people there and the waiting time was good for us Excellent and delicious food The only problem I have was NO WHITE RICE can you believe that one of the primary plate there and they running out or they don't have it.
