This place is an average for a hyped Chinese/Asian food. We were seated after 35 minutes of wait and ordered three starters. The vegetable spring rolls were the last one to arrived and they were soggy and not crunchy at all and were told by server they were sitting in a warmer, seems they forgot to bring them out. Cauliflower tempura was full of grease and the entree spicy chicken was not spicy at all. I liked their ginger root beer which was good. Buddha's feast was loaded with broccoli and lacked other vegetables. They also did not accept their coupon even though it was not expired. We were told that coupons on internet cannot be used and there corporates have to send us even though our coupon was legit. I love this place, but tonight is not their night. Haven't seen one manager, when usually you can't shake them. And of all nights, they needed one tonight! Waitress dropped a tray of drinks, no biggie. But it's literally been in front of our table u touched for about 10 minutes since it happened. First I want to say that the service was good. This review has to do with the food. We went to P.F Changs in hopes for a nice upper scale Asian food experience and what we got was the feeling we should have gone somewhere else. The spring rolls had a slight burnt taste and although cut on the bias which was strange (which is not a huge issue) it seemed they were fried again after that erasing any flavor the spring rolls had. The Mongolian beef was again just okay, good flavor but extremely small portion for the price. The Lo Mein was no better than packaged ramen noodles from the supermarket. Over all Pei Wei has much better quality of food (which surprised me) This is sad because we were so excited to go. The restaurant was very warm and seemed very fast food or chili's like and not a higher end dinning establishment. The one good thing was the children's menu which shockingly is just shy of the adult portion that is priced 3 times more. Will not be returning spent $60 and walked away still hungry and not satisfied. Local Asian place half the price and enough food to fill you and have some leftovers. read more

Let me just start off by saying our experience wouldn't of been the same if we didn't have Rome as our waiter. He was so patient and extremely kind he made our visit so amazing! We came in on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate my sisters birthday before it got too busy, I came to set up the table which I was so happy that they allowed me to do so! We were at the restaurant for probably 4 hours y'all....and Rome just attended to us like it was completely normal and wasn't short with us at all because it started to get extremely busy once dinner time hit and we were just in the way giggling and opening up birthday gifts like we were at home. Onto the experience with the food. All I need to say is ....I'll be back. The food is so amazing and such a great place to come too if you do have a large party because they give you sooooo much foood!!!! We had a party of 10 and still had left overs. How? Idk because we LOVE to eat. But it happened some how and I am not complaining. Also! Which made my heart so warm and fuzzy, right before we left Rome brought my sister a birthday card that was signed by all the staff members wishing her a happy birthday!!!! PF Chang's used to be one of my favorite chain restaurants, but that has changed. We don't go out to eat often, so it had been about 2-3 years since I had last been to PF Chang. We were in the area so we decided to stop in for dinner, looking forward to chow down on our favorites. They changed their menu. Which is fine considering it had been years since we last visited. We were disappointed to find they changed their Calamari recipe. It used to be one of our favorites, but man this new recipe is flat out terrible. Who wants wilted pieces of fried bell peppers with squid? The calamari was way too thick and the batter was greasy and too thick. Our entrees were below average. My shrimp tasted like it was fried in a salt batter and my husband lost his appetite from the calamari, he hardly touched his bland fried rice. It could be whoever is cooking the food in the kitchen at this location isn't doing a fantastic job and maybe it's better somewhere else.....or PF Change messed up their entire menu over the years. read more

Dinner: Chang's Fried Rice, Sesame Chicken. Also cooked to perfection. The food arrived at the table steaming hot, Service Our server was friendly and even a little funny. She was attentive but not overly so as to make you uncomfortable. My sesame chicken was a little on the sweet side for my taste so I asked form some sriracha. She brought me sriracha and 3 other spicy sauces to try. I thought that was a nice touch that was over and above what was asked. Good friendly service is always a big ++ in my book. I'm going to stick with 4 stars for P.F. Chang's... this is a restaurant that I've been to many, many times over the past 6 years or so, and it's consistently satisfactory. Their menu has stayed the same, essentially, but there are new specials every now and then. A couple new appetizers here and there, a new entree that may last a few months, a sudden array of sushi, some fancy new desserts... Nothing has disappointed! And they'll always keep their classics; beef and broccoli, orange chicken, street noodles, dali chicken (spicy and delish), and many more essentials. You know you can count on their awesome fried rice. I think you come to P.F. Chang's for the atmosphere; for a slightly upscale night out with slightly pricey food and cocktails. But you'll have little to complain about (except for limited space and a loud crowd), because the fare and drinks are pretty great. Your meal is always beautifully presented, super hot, fresh, and.... large. Seriously. Share a dish with a pal or prepare to take home leftovers. I recommend the Singapore Street Noodles... they're full of wonderful and colorful cherry tomatoes and green onions. If you've been here before, you know P.F. Chang's has a rockin' GF menu and a super-aware staff and kitchen. All GF dishes come out on specially marked plates, and there is plenty to order whether its an appetizer, entree, or dessert. This venue was chosen by a fellow co-worker for a team lunch. I had been to PF Chang's only once before (not this location) and wasn't impressed, but I wanted to keep my mind open. I shouldn't have bothered. The place looks very nice inside, and our service for a table of about a dozen was very good, but the food just didn't do it for me. One interesting note (and I'll give them partial kudos for this) is that they have printable menus that can be created on demand if you have food allergies; one of our diners has an egg allergy, and an impressive looking egg-free menu was produced within a few minutes. However, despite having a lot of text on it, there were really only a very few dishes that could be prepared in this way; a little disappointing considering that I'd expect scratch preparation for most dishes at this price point. Hot and sour soup came out first, and it fared OK in the flavor department (though I did add some soy and pepper sauce), but they went way heavy on the cornstarch or whatever thickener they use, and it almost had the consistency of a pudding. Very strange, and not in a good way. My main course was kung pao beef. The sauce had a decent flavor, but lacked the "punch" (both heat and spice) of a good local place. The oddest part was the beef; it was cut into teeny little matchstick strips, marinated in a sugar heavy sauce and cooked to just a few minutes away from jerky texture. Overall, I was not impressed at all with this meal, and especially at the price. We visited PF's Grapevine on a Saturday for a late lunch. Immediately gravitated to the bar area which was wide open. We ordered hot and sour soup and Chang's famous chicken lettuce wraps (gluten free). The bartender, Bob, had the order out quickly. The soup was excellent and what is there not to love about Chang's lettuce wraps? We glanced at the wine list and found it to be small, but with excellent choices and great pricing. We decided to wash the food down with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot which was priced at $71. Bob iced it down and served it plenty cold. The bartenders here are good. For our entrees we ordered the gluten free spicy chicken and the ginger chicken with broccoli. This was a break from my personal favorite, Mongolian beef. They were both excellent choices. Bar area has three high def TV's with different sporting events showing. If you want gluten free, they have a separate menu. read more

The bartender said no. I went to an open cocktail table and said may I sit here?? He snapped at me in front of everybody "We are at capacity and are on a wait" I'm sorry I didn't know PF Chang's rules but, I didn't deserve to be snapped at in front of the rest of the patrons. I walked out & had a lovely meal with excellent service at Pappadeaux. I will never walk in there again, and have told at least 30 people at my job today how horribly I was treated. We go here for a lot of birthdays but the more I go, the more I expect a very overly crowded restaurant, too dimly lit, too noisy, and relatively slow service. Go for a birthday and you get a free dessert. Used to be a full dessert which fed a family of 5, but they cut down to cup-size dessert-- feeds a 5 year old. Recommend the Lettuce Wrap, Ahi Crisps, and they have excellent California Rolls. (We always ask for an extra plate of lettuce cause one isn't enough.) Have been going to this branch from last couple of years. Had good food but average service. Had problems couple of times with the attitude of the managers. Even wrote a formal complaint letter and got response. Swore never to go to this particular outlet ever. But all that changed last night. They have changed their menu and made it more vegetarian friendly. Servers have been trained to be sensitive to veg needs. Zac was our server and not only was he good in service but he also gave his own personal tweaks to the dishes by taking into account what we would like. The manager (sorry dude but cannot recollect your name but whoever was the manager as on 8-17-13) rocks! He was very helpful and caring throughout. Got us hot water to heat the milk of infant in our group. Now the main part - Food! It was rocking great. Crispy fried beans were well done as requested and super awesome. Now they can make Wok Classics in non meat way too (veggies or tofu as you wish) got the Kung Pau and it didnt disappoint. Lettuce wrapps and fried rice always are great. Over all, very satisfied with food and service. If anyone had bad experience before, would recommend giving them one more chance. Loved that I could make a reservation through Open Table for a Friday evening at 6:30pm for a party of two. We arrived 10 minutes early and saw empty tables but told we would be seated closer to 6:30pm. Ok, so we waited. At 6:30pm we were taken to our table. Our server was Axalia. She was pleasant and always had a smile on her face. We started out with mango tea, the pan fried pork dumplings and wonton soup. You can get 4 or 6 dumplings to an order, we chose 6. The dumplings were fabulous. There was a soy/chili sauce on top and the taste was great! My husband said the soup was good too. For our entrees, I ordered beef and broccoli and my husband ordered the Mongolian beef with brown rice. Trying to watch my carb intake, I opted out of any rice. When the food arrived, it looked great. Here's the reason for the four stars. The beef was not as tender as it was at another PF Changs I just went to a week ago in Dallas near DNT and Frankford. It seemed the broccoli was kinda hard to cut through as well. The flavor was not equal to the other location either and the sauce seemed more runny than usual. Don't get me wrong, I still ate it but thought it was just ok. I was surprised that the quality could be so different from one location to another. The Mongolian beef was like mine as well, not really tender on the beef. I'll have to take my husband back to the other location to see he can tell the difference. We would still choose to eat here again because it's closer to us and once again, Axalia was terrific. I love the food, but everytime I leave my wallet hurts! This location has overwell pretty much exceeded my expectations but then again I am the most passive human on this planet! Dessert is a must, try the little cakes! Not to much, just enough to cure that sweettooth and not feel like kirstie Alley after consuming. Passion Tea is very good, But I find myself ordering water w/ a lemon wedge at every restaurant! Would someone please stop charging $2.50 for carbonated or Ice-T drinks! My family and I frequent this P.F. Chang's more than any other. We also have a thing were as soon as I'm picked up from DFW airport we stop by P.F. Chang's for a meal before heading home. Although I've seen many employees come and go, this location always have the best, most friendly, and caring employees. If there's every a problem which there rarely ever is (this locations is seamless), It's taken care of right away. There once was an instance (a long while ago) where I asked for an entree to be extra spicy and the manger came out before I even tried it and asked "that's not extra spicy, is it?" I tried and front of him and then shook my head no. He immediately whisked it away from the table and before I knew it-- not only did he bring out a new, extra spicy entree, but a appetizers (on the house) as well. The manger at the time remembered my family a week later when we came in for dinner. We haven't even had given our drink orders to the waiter before the manger had two of our favorite appetizers sent out (once again, on the house) from the mess up the week before. This is a GREAT place for Gluten Free dining. My mother's favorite Asian chain. It has lots of choices for everyone. Happy Hour is a great time to go. Small plates and good drinks. I would recommend the ginger beer (made in house) and the Moscow Mule. Many of the entrees are large enough to share. My sister (who is does not eat GF) loves the GF stuff and will share with me. You could get one entree and a noddle or rice dish and be good. The service is always nice. Can get busy on the weekends. Tip: Make your own dipping sauce. read more
