Cauliflower side
E G.

This will be my final review on PF Changs. The food taste has hit rock bottom. Service is good but the menu selection and the quality suck. I took a picture of their cauliflower side to give you an idea about their quantity and presentation. I knew all this prior to my visit but I obliged my son because he was keen on going here. Hope he is finally convinced that our local Chinese takeout place is way better (and cheaper)

Art deco stunning!

I'm stunned at the whining reviews- here's a winning one! This place is immense and the decor is stylish, chic and jaw dropping. Granted when the robots take over we won't need humanly soothing decor at the Feeding Stations, but today and tonight we do. I've attached a few snaps. Snazzy eh? And the food is delicious - not your typical Chinese eatery fare, it's more sophisticated for a cultured palette - no General Sow's porcine grub but rather Spicy Chicken platters or Mongolian Beef entrees are drool inducing! See snaps!

"Chinese" food as Americanized as it gets. Even more Americanized than my local Americanized Chinese food hole in the wall restaurant. We dined in on the Thursday before the 4th of July and, silly me, I made a reservation here for 6 PM, when I should have known that NO WAY was this restaurant going to require one because of how many tables they had inside. Anyway, we sat down at our table right after we arrived and the menu was pretty much what we expected for a P.F. Chang's. To start, we ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. For entrees, we got the kids the Kids Orange Chicken and Kids Chicken Lo Mein. My wife got the Miso Glazed Salmon Dinner Special with Hot & Sour Soup and Fried Rice Upgrade and I ordered the Mongolian Beef Dinner Special with Egg Drop Soup and Fried Rice Upgrade. My expectations were pretty low coming in, so I can't say everything was absolutely terrible because I was expecting it to be a horrific meal. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps were decent, but nothing spectacular. The soups that arrived with the dinner specials were definitely not great, in that the Egg Drop Soup was way too thick and the Hot and Sour Soup was just OK. The salmon entree was on the salty side and the Mongolian Beef was OK. For the Mongolian Beef, there were strips of green onion scattered around, which were really, really strong and probably should have been replaced by another green, like bok choy. Both of the Kids Meals were ehhhhh. The Kids' Orange Chicken was especially a really a rough one for me because it lacked any semblance of good flavor or crunchiness. The one positive on the evening was that our waitress was good, but no one working there was incredibly friendly. The restaurant IS very spacious and has lots of tables, but it wasn't anywhere near capacity on the evening we dined in. Don't expect anything great here and if you're seeking authentic, real Chinese food, then P.F. Chang's is not your spot. But if you're seeking food similar to your hole in the wall Americanized Chinese restaurant with decent ambiance, then this IS your spot.

We went to celebrate our cousins birthday. The food was really good! We were waited on by Dafne, which was friendly, patient and continually checked on us. Nice ambiance. Will return

Love this P.F. Chang's location! I visited for lunch and ordered the sesame chicken with vegetable fried rice. I also made sure to get a side of spicy mustard. Other dishes ordered included the orange chicken and spicy chicken entrees. The service was great and our meal came out fast. The portion sizes are epic!

The service was amazing. Our server was the best. The food was the worst food I've had in a very long time and I wouldn't feed it to a dog. It was overly salty yet somehow not very flavorful at the same time. The rice was undercooked. The bathroom wasn't visibly dirty but had a pungent smell of old urine. Only picture I took was of the desert which was very good

Came here to celebrate a good friend's mom's new life in heaven-food was very good but very very slow coming out. I ordered a egg drop soup and I didn't get it. My Mongolia trio was supposed to come with brown rice but it was served about 20 minutes after the protein and raw. It was a shame because if served together and cooked it would have been a different experience. The appetizers were tasty though and believe me you won't go home hungry, they served you more than enough . There was a mix up of how to order appetizers but that was corrected. Drinks were good and music was very nice so ambiance loved. Overall the two stars were for slow service that came from the kitchen unfortunately it just took too long to get your food and really enjoy it.

I don't know what the 1 star reviews are talking about. I've been to several locations - this one, West New York, and Union Square. This one was hands down the best one. It was really clean, menus were brand new, service was great, and food came out quickly despite there being two birthday parties. Yes, the chain isn't as great as it was years ago, but relatively speaking to other locations recently this place was excellent. The food was really fresh and came out hot.

Everything was great. From happy hour at the bar to the Chef's Feast at the table. The service was great. The atmosphere was perfect for the birthday celebration and they presented her with a great sparkling candle and many staff singing!

After carefully examining the event I decided they didn't deserve 3 stars. I lowered it to 2. I visited this place after a wake with a large group of people. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a beautiful mural and great looking asian lanterns. The workers were very friendly and warm. Unfortunately they were quite understaffed considering how many people were in our party only one waiter was assigned with a food runner. While the food tasted good it was extremely sweet. Not good if you're a diabetic. Unfortunately it took too long for our food to come out. I asked for water three times and never got any, they would give it to someone else because the person you order from was not the same person bringing out the food/drinks. I ordered salad and never got it, I ordered crispy chicken with Lomein and by the time the Lomein came out I was done with the chicken. Our table ordered at the same time and one person at our table got their food and ate it and the rest were still waiting for our food. What a shame, a poorly run business.

This place is touch and go. Sometimes good and sometimes not. Too expensive for the average fare. Ok if you're in a pinch.

It is similar to Sichuan/Szechuan cuisine in ways, in that there is an emphasis on spicy foods, although the spice profiles differ. It is in the space formerly occupied by a different Chinese restaurant called Joyce (RIP - I loved and miss their short-lived foray into seafood boils). Although there are many great authentic (meaning regionally specialized) Chinese restaurants in Bergen County and northern NJ, including several Sichuan places, this is the only Hunan one I'm aware of (without venturing further south into NJ), and is certainly one of the nicest Chinese restaurants atmosphere-wise, with an elegant dining room. If you want to try the interesting and authentic dishes, of which there are plenty, order from the sections of the menu labeled with "Hunan" or "Home Style." The soups and cold appetizers are very traditional too. The house speciality is the Hunan steamed fish head with pickled chili - the platter is quite impressive and takes 20-30 min to prepare. You can add tofu (recommended) or noodles for an additional $5. We ordered this but since I'm not a fish head fan (and like my fish very simply dressed) - I think it was a type of carp - the appreciation for it was lost on me. It's topped with a heap of red chilis but is actually not as spicy as it looks. Personally I prefer the fish fillet dishes such as the fish with ginger, which has very tender filet slices. I loved the soup dumplings (large and soupy), shrimp with salted egg yolk (or any salted egg yolk dishes, which aren't easy to find), and enjoyed the tender sautéed beef dishes like beef with spring onion or the spicy green pepper with steak, with crunchy peppers that give a piquant refreshing kick. They have whole Peking duck (Beijing roast duck)! The menu only shows pricing for the whole duck but we asked for half and they obliged. To be honest it's not the best Peking duck I've had but the balance of crispy skin (that's yet not too fatty) to generously shaved lean duck meat was unimpeachable. And they use high-quality crepes that are superbly thin but do not tear. The lo mein is also pretty good - it's slightly smoky and is better than common. Parking tip: there are only a few spots in front but there is a parking lot in the back of the building with plenty of spaces. There are lots of exciting and exotic menu offerings and still many we'd like to try, so we'll be back repeatedly.

I've also noticed that beef orders are touch and go, because the meat pieces tend to be rather tough. That said, I love the seasoning and saucing here. Tough meat aside, their beef and string bean meal has become one of my recent favorites. My husband raves about their spicy Chinese eggplant dishes, and he's been pretty happy about any chicken dish he's ordered. So many the golden rule is to stick with chicken over other proteins? Unlike other Chinese takeout spots in the area, they don't take delivery orders. Delivery orders can be fulfilled either through UberEats or through their website, which seems to outsource orders to another delivery service. I've used the nameless delivery service once and got the order just fine, but the ordering process is somewhat inflexible (e.g. my husband's favorite order from the lunch special menu isn't available as a standalone entree and there's no way to make those requests through the website, so we had to do a pickup order just so we could ask a person to make it happen). There are very few parking spots out front, so we've often had to double park when picking up orders, with one person waiting in the car while the other runs in to pay.
