None of the food was good,just fair. All of the dipping sauces started with a vinegar base, terrible. Not enough flatware and napkins for the table. The fortune cookies were the most stale cookies I've ever tasted in my life, and I had to drink iced tea to wash the flavor out of my mouth. The restrooms were filthy. The toilet seats were so loose that they were practically falling on the floor. I am a person who usually enjoys slightly higher-end, Americanized Chinese food, which is to say, I am a person who normally likes PF Chang's. The problem here is the staff. Our waitress was unpleasant and I think the rest of the crew tried to make up for it. She didn't come to our table for a long time. When I asked for an extra bowl and she brought it, she tossed it over and said "you're welcome" in a sassy way before I could even say anything. Just unfriendly, put out, and passive aggressive. It felt like the host and senior staff knew our waitress was a "problem employee," and checked in to see if things were okay, but that doesn't stop the experience from being unpleasant. Also, the food wasn't as good as it used to be. The entrees were good, the hot and sour soup was good, but the egg roll was cold, and my wife thought her egg drop soup was inedible. I normally like PF Chang's, so I'll probably get my fix when I'm traveling off-island, but I don't know if I'll return to this one. read more

I made reservations for an early evening meal for our party of four. When we arrived, we were told to have a seat in the waiting area, which surprised me. After about 5-10 minutes, we were seated. It took at least 10 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge us. We ordered drinks, which were delivered in a reasonable amount of time. After ordering four various meals, we received our them relatively quickly. Surprisingly, the meal portions were very small even though we ordered regular meal sizes. Being one to never complain, I asked to see the manager before eating our meals. He thought the meals sizes looked small but checked with the kitchen staff and was told they were prepared by their allocated weight. He provided us with an additional serving of the most undersized meal. Needless to say, we were very disappointed with P.F. Chang's. read more

We returned on Wednesday the food that included honey chicken, teriyaki chicken, dynamite shrimp. The food again was incredible, the server was having a bad day. I came back to PF Chang's Waikīkī and it was still the best experience I've had at any PF Chang's I've ever eaten at!!! Devin is the person who made my experience what it was. So friendly and bubbly and a AMAZING bartender! I had her espresso martini because it really is just the best you can get. The atmosphere is amazing and friendly and inviting. The food was all great and everyone was very knowledgeable about allergies and gluten ! I'm gluten free and they had so many options for me to choose from with a special menu. Ordered the chicken lettuce wrap for apps and that was pretty good. So, we got hyped waiting for our Sweet/Sour chicken, CRISPY honey shrimp & lao mein. Sweet sour chicken was doughy af. CRISPY honey chicken was like chewing on a soggy toilet paper that barely had shrimp in it, then we finally tried the lo mein thinking maybe we can save this disaster of chinese food to find out the lo mein was flavorless with the beef being a bit sour. My buddy was suffering as he was having trouble swallowing the food and actually went to IG to delete the picture he took of the food. Overall, got taxed and ended up paying around $120. Visited PF Chang's for my last dinner with my husband before leaving town, and the experience was truly wonderful. The service was spectacular--our server, Armando, was incredibly attentive and made sure our drinks were always full. The restaurant itself has a beautiful ambiance with a perfect date night vibe. Parking is a little tricky in this part of town. I parked in a lot about a mile away and they charge per hour. The service was great, I love the patio seating and ambiance, the old fashioned was superb, and the lettuce wraps were tasty but a smaller portion than it used to be. After that, I wasn't very impressed. The brown rice was only halfway cooked (crunchy in the middle), the chicken was not very flavorful, the pad thai was mediocre and the Mongolian beef was mostly green onions. Their reviews are all BS! Absolutely disappointing in every way. We waited 15 minutes to get seated, despite the restaurant being empty...... warning #1. The atmosphere was musty and unclean.....warning #2. The furniture and decor looked like it hadn't been updated in decades-- like it was leftover from an old chaotic frat house....warning #3. The drinks were diluted...warning #4. The food was equally unappetizing; everything had a strange gross, greasy taste that suggested it had been cooked in old oil......last straw. We sat quickly however it took a while for anyone to take our drink order. We sat inside but it was really warm inside. It was uncomfortable to eat hot food with no AC. The food was awful. We ordered the advertised 3 course meal. If two people order it at the table, you have to choose the same appetizer which doesn't really make a lot of sense. The egg drop soup had no flavor. The egg roll is what you would get at a gas station. It wasn't edible. The honey shrimp and chicken were just okay. The fried rice was a $5 up charge and it was gross. It was dry like Panda Express rice. The worst part of the whole meal, the kids meal orange chicken. They must have mixed up the sauce or got chili oil in the orange chicken sauce. My daughter took a big bite and was on fire for 15 minutes. We told them they must have switched the sauce and they were dead set that it was us not them. They didn't really take it seriously which was upsetting. Our daughter is 5. She eats spicy food like spicy poke and ramen. I have never seen her in that much pain. They offered us free dessert in which we declined. Personally I would have expected a manager to check on her, speak to their staff and remove her meal from our bill. Don't go here. I love sitting at the bar, and our bartender, Sabrina, was unbelievably amazing Thursday night!!! I have never seen a bartender handle a busy bar with such speed and efficiency. Not to mention, it was super muggy, and the bar is open to the street, which I enjoy. But I couldn't believe that Sabrina did not stop moving the entire time we were there, in that heat! If I could make it negative that would be great. I ordered a pickup order with gluten free items. Had to wait and extra 30mins until food was ready making me late getting back to work. The restaurant was not busy, there was 1 2top and 3 people at bar. When I finally got back to work I realized I was given wrong food items the sticker/label had what I ordered gluten free chicken/broccoli and gluten free fried rice and gluten free lettuce wraps. The lettuce wrap portion was so tiny compared to when I've dined in but there was no chicken/broccoli in sight. I received a beef dish. Called restaurant spoke with manager who couldn't confirm if it was gluten free or not and offered refund. 7days/5business days still no refund. I shouldn't have to pay for a meal that no one could verify if it was gluten free and safe! If the health department was alerted to the lack of care for "food allergies" that would no doubt be a violation. Also like yo point out this is the second screw up in 2 weeks. read more

I took my cousin who is visiting from overseas, and PF Chang seems to be always a great hit with overseas visitors for some reasons. This time too, my cousin had a nice break from eating Hawaiian meals like poke and grilled fish. A bit loud because inside is big, but spacious and always good friendly service. Had a lovely pina collats,twas delicious, ordered the "torpedo in the hole dynamoite shramps app twas "aiight not outstanding" kinda mayo forward and mild, not sure what happened to the d dynamite, Bae said, his Japanese old fashion was "outstanding" !! As I am totally biased against restaurant chains and also Americanized Chinese food, I was surprised to discover how decent this place was. Why did I go? You may ask. Because my 8 yo son loves it! After trying the Keiki meal at LA airport, he has been begging to come back. Now the Keiki meal is truly a terrific deal! For just $7, you get the lo mien noodles, which he devours like a hungry hippo (or fried rice or some other options), also a veggie (lightly steamed fresh broccoli or snap peas or carrots), and a small bowl of fruit AND a drink - which can be strawberry lemonade! The kids also tore through a bowl of edamame that was cooked to perfection. A bargain! And so much healthier than most kids menus! So huge kudos to PF Changs for that! For the adults, we got the ginger chicken, which was nothing extraordinary but had good flavor, was not too greasy, and also came surrounded by loads of lightly steamed broccoli. Healthy! Came with brown rice (or white). And we also got the sautéed string beans which were crunchy and tasty. We enjoyed sitting on the second floor balcony away from the street crowds. First off, our server, Kevin was EXCELLENT. He gets 5 stars but everything else was hit or miss. I will say this is the nicest PF Changs I've visited, so the ambiance gets 4 stars. Here's the rest: Tempura green beans = 5 stars and my "go to" Ribs = 5 stars, always a winner California roll - 3 stars (there were 8 pieces and only 4 had avocado) Broccoli chicken - 3 stars just okay. Not a lot of flavor Honey shrimp = 4 stars tasty and plentiful Lastly...the women's bathroom was filthy. The garbage can was overflowing with used paper towels and there was trash everywhere! I want to say right off the bat our server was wonderful - attentive, cheery, met all our needs especially since we needed to finish relatively quickly. As for the food... the place had very nice decor! ok, since I can't say something nice, I'm not going to say anything. I will say though my 90 year old father who doesn't really eat that much wanted the signature lo mein with tofu, and by god he finished everything that we didn't eat, which was about 20%. So we were shocked. and I'll be honest, we only went here because we had a 10 year old gift card and the location worked out for our needs that evening. I think the last time I ate at a PF Chang's was (checking when it first opened) maybe 1993. In another 30 years I'll be my Dad's age.
