Just tried PF changs for the first time today, was pretty disappointed. For the premium prices, I was expecting premium Chinese food but just tasted like the regular Chinese food you can get from Great Wall, China One, Chine Garden ect. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place, if you want higher quality I'd go to Panda Express, or Greenwood Park Mall. Or spend a few dollars more and just go for hibachi read more

We ate at the circle center mall. And the atmosphere and ambience is very nice. But the food was lacking flavor and the service was very slow. I expected hot and spicy chicken. And there was no seasoning and no spice. And it tasted pretty much like chicken tenders. My wife asked for the Korean glass noodles with beef. And there was no seasoning, so she requested a jar with the dumpling sauce so that she could add it to her meal. My mother-in-law who normally likes no spice. Salt or pepper with her food did enjoy her sweet-and-sour chicken very much. The food looked good but it did not have the flavor that I expect from a quality Chinese Asian restaurant. read more

I was there a couple of weeks ago with a member of my team. I ordered a fried rice to go, which was 5.95. Since I had a larger ticket for lunch, I left a larger tip on that one and left no tip on the fried rice. When I checked my checking account a couple of days later, I noticed there was an extra $2 charged to my fried rice - the server Jennifer had given herself an over 50% tip! I called and the first person I spoke to lied and said they were the manager. After I began discussing my issue, she put me on hold and then a man picked up. I asked him if he was the manager and he said yes. I asked him who was the other manager and he told me she wasn't a manager. I asked him why did she lie and he said he doesn't know. So, I explained to him what happened and he said the general manager would be in later and they would discuss what happened and next steps and would call me back that same day. I'm still waiting on that call. I guess everyone at P.F. Chang's is dishonest. read more

I tried a different item off the lunch menu today. I had high expectations for the Jicama Street Tacos pairing and chose the (3) Lobster & Shrimp with the (2) crab rangoon. For $12.95, I was a little disappointed in the portions and expected a more substantial amount of food. Although the menu did display a pepper symbol indicating a spicier dish, these tacos were so spicy that one particular bite set my lips and mouth on fire. I had to drink my friend's water as well as mine and then ask for something from the waitress to sooth the sting. She brought a small bowl of wonton crisp to try and absorb some of the spice. The rangoon was tasty and I enjoyed those. The service was friendly and the restaurant experience is always lovely here but I would not order the Jicama tacos again. read more

PF Chang's is one of my family's favorite Reataurants. The atmosphere and decor is awesome, service is always good and the food is killer good! You must try the chicken lettuce wraps at all cost, they are amazing! My favorite meal is the Kung Pao chicken with white rice. The sesame chicken, Mongolian beef and the orange chicken is quite tasty too. They now offer the family size meals and it makes it much more affordable for families of four to enjoy for lower price. Downtown Indy and Keystone locations are really cool, but our favorite is downtown! read more

We have been going to P.F. Chang's for many years. Tonight, we had the best meal we have ever had. I had the Kung Pao chicken and it had big chunks of chicken instead of the tiny little squares I used to get. My husband had the lettuce wraps and they were so much better. He always orders two bowls of Won Ton Soup w/all of the contents and half or less of the broth. They made it perfectly, tonight. As usual we sat and the bar and as usual, Amanda was the very best and we got to meet Jerry who was just as competent as Amanda. A good time was had by all, aka. Us. We were very pleased. read more

P.F. Chang's is a great place for Asian Cruise with a variety of options. I was in the mood for something light so I ordered a few sushi rolls. I had the lobster avocado roll and the shrimp tempura roll. The rolls were quite tasty however a tad overpriced in my opinion given the portion. I sat at the bar were I was pleasantly greeted. The service was average and the servers appeared busy with restaurant tasks. The restaurant lacks a vibe so bring your own company if your looking for a fun time. read more

My wife and I was looking forward in eating here last night. After all it is one of our favorite date night restaurants back in NY. To our disappointment this place flat out sucks. It was late in the day after the mall had closed and they was barely at half occupancy. So, we shouldn't have been forgotten about as long as we did. The timer on my phone was reading 5minutes and 37seconds when someone finally asked if we had been helped. We order our drink and food all in one go. First to arrive was the hot and sour soup. My cup was warm, but my wife complained hers was cold. Before I even finished the soup our entrees came out. The beef and broccoli we order was flavored well but the beef was very tough to eat. The sesame chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly but lacked any flavor. And finally after we finished dinner the egg rolls we had order for a starter came out with apologies that the kitchen was backed up by the other four tables food orders. Lunch with the work crew. Decided to come to P. F. Chang's after Granite City already had a wait. I am not a regular at P. F. Changs so it took me some time to decide on what I wanted. I do like they have brown rice as an option for the health conscious folks. I went with the beef broccoli. The Beef and Broccoli was fine the sauce was a bit on the bitter side. The broccoli was nice and crisp. I wouldn't order again I would try something else. I would come back though it is convenient and fairly quick. read more

For the benefit of those who can't read tips on the website, I had some of the worse calamari I've ever had, (it wasn't the fried squidly goodness I normally experience) another member of our party's appetizer showed up about the same time as his dinner, and Pad Thai which nearly any 8-year old in a hawker stand can make well, was sub-par at best. Think Pei-Wei quality at retail downtown prices. Other Yelpers have mentioned this location is hit or miss, but if you are in town for business or pleasure, life is too short to waste on bad food and experiences. Until Arturo's crew can figure out how they are going so wrong, and the ratings improve from its current rating of 2 stars, I'd find someplace else to eat. read more

There were 5 of us here for a convention. We ate at PF Chang's tonight because they offer a gluten free menu and several of us are gluten intolerant, plus who doesn't love their food!?!?! We made a reservation 2 WEEKS AGO for 6:30. We arrived at 6:20, we were sat at our table 25 minutes later. We received our food over 2 hours after we arrived which caused us to be late to our event. We had to eat so so fast so I couldn't really tell you how it tasted. We did complain and our meal was free so that was a plus but now my stomach is angry and so were we. My husband and I decided to dine here for dinner Sunday evening. We walked in around 8p (they close at 10p). We walked up to the hostess stand to wait for seating, but instead of being greeted promptly by the woman working behind the stand... We were greeted by a hostess sitting on the bench by the door. Obviously the woman behind the stand was preoccupied, it just caught me off guard to be greeted by the other. The hostess looked up and asked us if we had a preference where we sat & if we wanted somewhere more quiet. "Sure!" I complied. Instead of the quiet little cozy two top table in the corner that I was looking at, she walked us over and sat us right in the middle of a cheerleader convention dinner -_- Our server greeted us after a moment, I ordered the sweet peach ginger tea. He asked if I wanted sweetener, and I asked,"Isn't it already sweet?" He replied not really, so he'd bring some out. He returned to tell me they were out of that tea. The other teas had caffeine so I settled with ice water. Right away, I ordered Garlic Noodles and my husband ordered Chicken Fried Rice, super simple menu items. Twenty-five minutes later, our food comes out. The Garlic Noodles probably sat in the kitchen for a while... Because it had that settled, glazed look. It was cold in certain portions and barely warm in other parts. My husband mentioned that his tasted fine and pretty hot. I am super uncomfortable with asking for something to be sent back, but when our server swung by and asked how everything tasted, I mustered up the courage to express that my food was cold & not fresh, as if it had been sitting for a while. He was totally understanding, took it right back to the kitchen to fire up a new Garlic Noodle dish. He returned eight minutes later to tell me that they were out of noodles. He sincerely apologized and said that my dinner was on them, and I ordered three small sides of asparagus, green beans, and garlic spinach. (I know, I could've ordered anything... But I was pretty hungry and that seemed quick & simple to make!) My husband shared some of his fried rice with me, and he ordered dessert wontons (2 of each flavor). Those were tasty! The perfect portions for after dinner. My sides came out and were packed with flavor, fresh, and hot. They didn't use any garlic in the sautéed spinach though :( Also... I kid you not, halfway through my plate of spinach, before I took my next bite, I had found a beard hair in it. Legit, thumb-length, course blonde beard hair. I showed my husband in amazement, peered into the kitchen from our table to see if employees were wearing hair-nets. Almost all the servers had beards. I asked,"I'm not crazy am I? Is this really happening?" I let it go though. When our server cruised by with our check, we asked if we could also order the fried banana rolls with the ice cream. He expressed how delicious the ice cream was, and put our request in right away. The manager walked over to our table and introduced herself, suggesting that we wanted to talk with her. Husband and I just looked at each other, back at her, and expressed that our server was super gracious and handling things well. She really came over to tell us that they were out of that specific dessert, apologized and explained that they've been slammed because of the cheerleading convention that had gone on that weekend. They were out of the wrappers for the bananas, but were willing to bring us out a different dessert. She also took care of our entire check, and we strongly insisted that we could pay for our meal, that we understood and appreciated their service... But she took care of our bill and asked what dessert we wanted for the road. We decided on the cheesecake. Our server walked over, expressed his genuine apology again and explained that he wanted her to come over and talk to us (he was humorous and sincere). He also said that they did indeed have wrappers, the guys in the kitchen found some... So we ordered that instead and explained that the manager was about to put in for the cheesecake. The banana dessert and ice cream was fantastic. Worth the wait, and easily shared by two. He joked that they made it extra fancy looking for us, and we expressed our gratitude for his service. Our server was excellent. He gets 5 stars. The manager was generous in taking care of our bill, which shows great customer service. They really extended themselves to make up for the issues. As far as being out of the tea, getting cold food, being out of the noodles, finding a beard hair in spinach, and sitting there for a little over two hours though... I prefer not to experience that. I won't be back at any P.F. Changs. The food is simply not good. The atmosphere is nice, but it's crowded. read more

It's a PF Changs and the food is like all of the other PF Changs. No complaints about that, if you like American Asian food and you want something better than a Chinese buffet, you're in luck. However, it's not worth going there at night. They don't have a lot of space and it is either horribly crowded or dead empty (because people come from the conference center). If I'm really feeling PF Changs, I'll let other order delivery or drive 20 minutes to Keystone, where the wait will be shorter. During lunch, it's not very crowded but I doubt you can get in and out in under an hour. The staff seem nice, but they're constantly moving so it's hard to get their attention or ask them for things. read more

Sure, it's a chain restaurant. But it's easy to see why it's a popular one. It's got a nice atmosphere and good Americanized versions of Asian dishes. If you're looking for authentic Asian food, you shouldn't be here. But sometimes it's okay to enjoy a good knock off. read more

For some reason, this P.F. Chang's is extremely hit and miss. Over the course of the years that I've been here, the food just doesn't seem to come out the same. Yes, P.F. Chang's is a chain, and as such, you should expect the same quality and taste as if you are eating the same dish in any other P.F. Chang's. For whatever reason one time the food will taste excellent and then the next time the same exact dish will just taste off, the meat isn't cooked right, there isn't enough sauce, etc. This is generally my go to gluten friendly restaurant when I'm downtown and with people who think that this is one of the most awesome restaurants ever. I do appreciate that they label the plates, rounded with a black line and says PF Chang's, and sauces, red, from the regular food. There is a nice GF selection. The staff is nice and friendly and the service is generally quick. One thing that I would caution is that if there is anything going on downtown or it is a hopping Friday or Saturday night, reservations are a good idea as you might find yourself waiting a while for a table. read more

I can honestly say (and we've dined her several times) we've never had an even mediocre service experience. It seems the staff is always at the top of their game. The food? Well--it's not bad. My wife and I visited P.F. Chang's located in the Center City Mall in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. This was our first visit, so we opted for the Four-Course Prix-Fixe option which includes one appetizer, two soups, two entrees, and one dessert. For our appetizer, we chose their popular Chicken Lettuce Wrap, wok-seared chicken, mushrooms, green onions, and water chestnuts served over crispy rice sticks with lettuce cups for wrapping and a spicy sauce. This dish had deep flavors, was cooked to perfection, and carried a little bite from the sauce. (Dora here. I wouldn't have minded making a whole meal out of these little goodies!) We both chose the Wonton Soup, which didn't just have an abundant amount of delicious pork wontons, but also chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, spinach and water chestnuts. For our main course, I chose the Mongolian Beef, thinly cut pieces of soy-glazed flank steak, wok-seared with scallions and garlic. The steak was very good, flavorful and tender, but I would've enjoyed it more without the abundance of large scallions. My wife ordered the Crispy Honey Chicken, battered chicken in a sweet and tangy honey sauce over a bed of crispy rice sticks. Dora here. Something about the honey sauce clashed with my tongue. Not my favorite part of the meal, but there was so much more to enjoy! For dessert, we went with the Sweet Vanilla Cream Wontons, warm and crispy shells filled with delicious vanilla cream, petite and not too heavy, the perfect way to end the meal. I meet a potential client here for lunch as it was their choice. The decor was mid to upper level chain and this place reminds me if Applebee's were a Chinese restaurant than it would be this. Service was good and the food was ok but not great and I would not choose this as a first choice among options in the area but the tourists visiting the city will enjoy. read more

For years I had heard rave reviews about this restaurant. I found myself passing by on the way to the parking garage on a Tuesday at 3pm and decided to order for carryout. There were 3 guys at the bar and otherwise the place was empty. A nice gentlemen took my order and I even told him I was excited because I had never eaten there before. I waited about 10-15 minutes and headed to my car. I ordered KungPao Brussel Sprouts and they were the best item that I rate a 3 out of 5. Not enough heat or peanuts and drowning in sauce. I ordered Crab Wontons because Crab Rangoon is my favorite and I was certain these would not disappoint. Boy, was I wrong.. I could've gotten better at a gas station. These were in fact the most disappointing I've ever had and I am older that 50 so I've tried a LOT. They were barely warm, stuffed and tasted nothing like crab. And the final disappointment was the lettuce wraps. Flavorless and unidentifiable to me-nothing like previous wraps I've had or the ones I make myself. The final straw was that the lettuce was iceberg, not the traditional Bibb or even Romaine. The whole meal seemed sloppily put together and was the greatest disappointment I've had since my last date 2 years ago. Needless to say, I won't be dating or going to PF Changs ever again. I would not recommend going on a Monday. They were not staffed properly and it took forever for my order to be taken at the bar, and twice as long to get the food. When I got the food, the sushi rolls were missing the soy sauce, and the desert was missing the raspberry sauce. By the time I got to my hotel two blocks away, the food was cold. I was very disappointed with the service and the food. It was not up to P.F. Chang's standard. Last time I ordered the fruit was rotten and I don't know how it passed the preparation standards and served to the end customer. I had been to this Indy downtown PF Chang's few times, but this time my experience as a vegetarian, was gross. I clearly stated my vegetarian requirement to the waiter and placed my Stir-Fried Eggplant order. I got my order, I was eating my Stir-Fried Eggplant and suddenly I felt something different feeling/texture in my mouth. I spit it out and it looked like a white piece. I am sure it was not tofu or any vegetable. I never tasted meat in my lifetime and I don't know what it was. I went to the restroom, rinsed my mouth many times. I felt very sick and gross. This clearly indicates how much the P.F.Chang's kitchen cares about the customer's food restrictions or even basic cleanliness. The waiter didn't care either when I told him. One of the first places I visited when I moved to Indy! The inside is dimly lit and is always clean with a rich feel. I've been here more than a handful of times and have had nothing but great service every single time - something that's sometimes hard to come by! Their chicken lo mien is AMAZING. I was a little dissatisfied with the amount of meat in it when I got a combo of chicken and shrimp, but the dish is still incredible. Their Mongolian beef is some of my favorite. The portion of meat is very generous and the taste is completely rich and on point. The shrimp and lobster fried rice dish is also another favorite. DEFINITELY give it a try if you're a seafood fan. read more

The service was great. The food was mediocre at best. I had Buddha's Feast- a tofu dish that was just plain bland. The tofu was practically nonexistent and the sauce had no flavor. My friend had Mongolian Beef which was chewy. The Molten Lava cake was disappointing-- dry cake, not much sauce. They didn't have Sapporo beer. ??? Edamame was good as was the lemon drop cocktail but definitely not worth another trip, as you can get both of those elsewhere. Now I understand why a Friday reservation was easy to get at the last minute. read more
