I ordered a fried rice with pork. The fried rice was passable, although the nonstandard addition of bean sprouts makes the texture and consistency of the rice annoying to eat. The chunks of pork in the rice, however, were terrible. Every other piece of pork was full of tough, chewy connective tissue: the least desirable meat. The chewy, salty pork hunks were a net negative on the fried rice - it literally made the dish worse. Came here for the first time today for a work lunch. Now, I have always avoided this place due to bad reviews I've heard and I now know why. First off, they pushed two "four seat" tables together for ten people. THAT was lots of fun trying to eat. Our waitress was attentive and brought refills our drinks before we could even ask which is always a plus for me but the food... Yuck. I'm almost positive I could go get a frozen dinner with more flavor then what I was given. It was also Luke warm at best. So today I ordered carry out. I ordered Salt and pepper Prawns and white rice. The entree cost $20. To my dismay I did not get any prawns instead I got salt and pepper shrimp. I am very disappointed with P.F. Chang's.For an entree that cost 20 dollars they should have told me they did not have any Prawns available. I would like a refund. Won't be going back to Changs. I needed a late lunch while in Indy on business so decided to hit PF Chang's. The location is convenient and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. I asked to be seated in a booth but was told that I couldn't because they wanted to keep them open for larger parties... It was 2:30pm and there were 8 people in the restaurant - okay, so that's their policy. But it wasn't. 10 minutes later the hostess seated a single diner in a booth. I ordered the Hot and Sour Soup, Edamame, and Pork Dumplings. The soup was very good. The Edamame was as expected. The dumplings were cold. And, whatever plating had been done in the kitchen was undone in the way to my table... So, not a great experience unfortunately. read more

My Mother patronizes PF Chang's on a regular basis. She regularly goes to this location with no problem. However, tonight was so horrible that she will not be back! She waited 20 mins for someone to come and take her drink order, and after they brought it another 15 mins to take her food order. My Mother then wanted to speak with the manager they waited another 20 mins to come over. With an already scarce restaurant presence at circle center, one would think service would be better. Also, the restaurant was not busy. It is pretty obvious that more help is needed, until they get the help we will not be back. read more

I love P.F. Chang's and it's probably the only Asian restaurant I eat at besides blue sushi. However, I've been so disappointed in them lately. They came out the harvest curry which is beyond amazing and it's so big that I have leftovers for lunch the next day, and it's spicy! BUT every time I go to this location they are always out!! I also never get asked about rewards so i have to manually enter my points. Why come out with a reward system if your employees never ask customers?? read more

Stopped in for carry out while staying downtown. Ordered, while the restaurant was practically empty of customers. I took a seat near the hostess stand so they could bring my order to me. Almost 40 mins later I decided to ask if my small order was ready. They had it at the hostess stand and decided to never to tell me it was ready, as I sat 15 feet from the person who took my order. Chang's always delivers consistently delicious food. The menu seems to be always changing, which i appreciate. The Kung Pao chicken, ginger chicken with broccoli, and chicken fried rice are my favorite dishes. The dumplings are also very good. Tip: If you've been a Chang's goer for a while, you'll remember the sauce trio they used to serve with every meal. You have to ask for it now. Not sure why they stopped serving it to everyone. I can't comment on the food because it never came. Had a reservation for 7:15. At right before 9:00, we finally threw in the towel and left. I understand being short staffed, but the restaurant was practically dead. There was a group that checked in after us that were late to their reservation and were told they would get worked in. We had the joy of watching them get their food before us which made things even better! The one time we asked the server about how much longer we were rudely asked back "do you all have somewhere to be?" She then told us the kitchen made orders out of order for some reason. Like I said, I understand being short staffed, but why not tell us that on the phone when we made the reservation or turn off online orders because to go orders were still flying out the door. Sadden by the lack of hospitality at the downtown location... I approached the bar to have a drink and place a to go order when I was quickly rebuffed by the bartender and directed to the hostess stand instead. Despite the rudeness, I still placed my to-go order. Then, instead of resting pleasantly at the bar with a comforting drink, I had to stand awkwardly about avoiding servers and other guests. When I got home, I was disappointed to find a random piece of broccoli in my lettuce wraps, a large, unappetizing chuck of mushroom along with an inordinate amount of oil. Needless to say, the cold reception colored my perception of the food. Went in Thursday night. went up to the stand to get a table. The hostess rolled her eyes and sighed and said "give us a few seconds". We sat and had three people tell us they were working on our table. 3 people (same number as our party) walked in and asked for a table and was seated. The hostess said we were next (we were the only party waiting). Finally got seated by this rude host. Positive side was the waiter was spot on and provided awesome service. Walked in asking if they had availability for 2. The guy in the wheelchair was the seating host and was completely rude. Questioning why we would ask a question like that with out making reservations! I said we can just sit at the bar as there was chairs open. He said "No We can not With out reservations". We didn't get our food for over an hour and fifteen minutes. Our waitress only came to fill up water once in the two and a half hours we were there. Piss poor service and food. Been going to PF Changs for years and this was by far and away the worst one. Terrible server who ignored us, and food that was so bad it worried me. The Changs spicy chicken was like eating an eraser. The hot and sour soup was like brown glue. The lettuce wraps were like they were already chewed. In all seriousness, I am concerned about this business. Something bad has happened internally, and it's showing in the horrible food they're serving. I remember when the food was top notch. Value: (dinner)The price point is decent but if this is your first time, you'll question the price of Chinese. I promise it's worth it! (Lunch) Although the price is cheaper, the portion size is significantly smaller. Almost too small on the main entrees for the price and this is the reason for 4, not 5 Stars. Food: The food is literally upscale and well put together Chinese. The standard is the Orange Chicken so if you don't know what to get, start there! The Soup is also phenomenal! Went on Monday night and got there before big crowd (conventions and basketball in town). Ingrid was outstanding as our server - friendly, efficient, punctual. Enjoyed the lettuce wraps before having fried rice chicken and lo mein pork for entrees. Overall, a great experience and we will return. read more
