My friends and I stopped in for a quick lunch earlier this week. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice. We all ordered soft drinks and I started with a cup of egg drop soup. I then had the vegetable lo mein and my friends had the combo fried rice, a california roll, pork dumplings and spicy green beans. I tried a little bit of everything and it was delicious! Seems like people have had problems here but I can't relate and I have dined at this location alot. This PF Changs is located in circle center mall but entry from Illinois street is also an option. The restuarant is nicely decorated with a warm-like ambiance. They also have a full bar with happy hour time slots. Today, I enjoyed what I believe to be the best item on the menu.....Mongolian beef (gluten free). Was and still absolutely delicious. I also tried Eggdrop Soup for the first time and it was very good. They now serve a family style bowl of rice for the table instead of individual bowls which I think is a nice touch.....and smart! I left full and satisfied as usual. I have tried many things here. Spring rolls, egg rolls, wonton soup, barbeque spare ribs, shrimp dumplings, fried rice, crispy honey shrimp, salt and pepper prawns, ginger chicken w/broccoli, beef w/broccoli, shrimp w/lobster sauce.......all DELICIOUS! I am so glad the gluten free menu has a good selection. I actually had a hard time choosing today! Chinese is my favorite cuisine and PF Changs menu is great. I made a reservation for dinner at P.F. Chang's, I arrived a few minutes early for my reservation and stood at the host stand for a good 8 minutes. There was a Spanish girl, an African American girl and a guy in a wheelchair at the host stand. While standing there, I heard the Spanish girl and African American girl complain at how busy they were. I can tell you that there were quite a lot of empty tables in the restaurant. The Spanish girl took a phone call and told the person on the phone that they are really busy and not to come in until later! I couldn't believe what I was hearing, looking around there were many empty tables and booths. The pictures I'm including show some of the empty tables. When we were seated, our server was great! I think her name was Kristen or something close to that. We placed our drink orders and appetizer right away as we already knew what we wanted. Our food and drinks were really good! We placed our food orders, I ordered the honey chicken and my husband ordered the pepper steak. The kitchen was running a little behind on food so it was a little bit of a wait. When our food arrived, it was really good. Our server was spot on and made sure we were doing well. We ordered the banana spring rolls for dessert. Online ordering (for 4)was quick and easy along with the smooth, efficient pick up as well. Unfortunately, getting back to the hotel and finding out we have no soup spoons and only forks to go with our order of a bowl of hot and sour soup was discouraging . Also, disappointing was the Salmon Caesar Salad, very nondescript and lacked any flavor especially the portion of salmon. Once we figured out how to drink it, in coffee cups, the soup was the highlight of the day. The Brussel sprouts were tasty but oily. The Buddha feast was cold and the eggplant dish was bland. Went here last night with my wife and another couple in our church, first tip check and see what was going on in the city, apparently gen con was going on so downtown was crazy full and parking was nuts, but we found a parking garage and walked in to the restaurant, they tell us about a 45 to and hour wait so we sit down, 25 mins go by they call our table, get seated our waiter was nice and got our drinks and took our orders, and it seemed like forever to get our food and finally we got it, I got the ribs with the dry rub on them and they were okay, could have used a little bit more flavor on them, and could have used a little bit more meat on them, the restaurant itself was clean not to noisy so we could hear each other, but definitely not coming back anytime soon read more

My friend decided to have her birthday dinner here on Saturday (02.13.2021) for which she made a reservation for 7:15 PM. We got there a little early - around 7:05 expecting to wait for a bit because our reservations weren't for another 10 minutes. We ended up getting sat at 7:47 PM. We were alright as we were just socializing and were able to get a drink at the bar and take it back to the waiting area. After we were sat we did not see our server for another 15 minutes and we were glad we still had drinks left over from the bar. Our waiter then came and took our drink order but did not bring us the waters that we asked for and came back about 10 minutes later. We then ordered and the tables food came out at different times with two peoples coming out about 12 minutes after everyone else's food was already at the table. After looking at the other reviews of this particular PF Changs I am hoping that the experience that we had that night was an isolated incident and I do plan on going back because I do love the food that PF Changs offers and our food was great! I ordered a special Japanese Beer and it was absolutely wonderful! It tasted a bit like an IPA but with a bit less hops - I would definitely recommend! I opted in for the lettuce wraps - and as always, they were absolutely phenomenal! The lettuce was cold and the rest was warm and the sauce added a much needed flavor. Understaffed, sticky, and our table wobbled violently. Took 20 minutes to get water. Did was good when it came out, and all the staff were great, but whoever is managing is doing a poor job, every surface was sticky and they are easy under staffed. Oh my. To start with the hostess and wait staff were incredibly inept. The waiter gave my friend some hot tea which did not include hot water. We were so confused over the situation, she almost drank soy sauce. The spring rolls were horrid. Tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. I took one bite and that did it for me. We went here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch after shopping in the mall. It was fairly empty, and we were able to be seated away from anyone. The staff was very friendly. On each table was a signed note from the person who had disinfected it- this was a nice touch. The drink menus were paper and had a QR code to scan to see the food menu. I ordered the honey chicken and was sad that it didn't have any veggies on the side-guess I should have read the description a bit closer. My boyfriend ordered the lo mein- it was pretty good: about what I would expected from a more authentic Asian restaurant. Their food is below expectation in terms of flavor and how they look. We ordered chicken lettuce wrap which is their signature, it tasted good but too oily, there were fat-meat-look ingredients which turns out to be lotus root, we didn't ate them first just because how oily they look, turns out to be good flavor. We also ordered Kung Pao shrimp, it was too salty and the shrimp wasn't fresh, it could totally jeopardize how people think about real Chinese food. During our first visit in Sep around 7pm, we made reservation online upfront, the restaurant ended up messed up everyone's reservation that day because their in-store system didn't receive any reservation confirmation. More than 10 customers were waiting at the reception, but no waitresses care to help solve the issue. There were a few open tables but everyone was ended up told sorry there's nothing they can do. My best friend and I come here several times a month because the food and service is amazing! The experience is great from the moment we walk in the door by being greeted by Alison and Corneesha! They are so sweet and great with the guests! Our favorite waitress is Katie - she is top notch! I was visiting and wanted to have dinner. When we got to the location, the hostess said there were no tables available. I asked if we were able to sit at the bar and she confirmed yes if we can locate space. My friend and I sat at the bar. The bar server cleaned the spot and gave us menus. We sat for about 30 minutes or so and eventually another bar server came and stated that we would not be able to get food for about an hour. I inquired why and with a disrespectful tone he said they sat t two large parties. I shared well we have been here for over 30 minutes and he was like well the sign said the bar is closed. I asked him to point out the sign and also let him know his hostess indicated that bar seating was open. He was rude and unprofessional. The only part that was confusing was reservations, we had made one but the host made it confusing and I still don't know what happened but regardless they still seated us. Also I got the seasonal hot chai tea which lacked potency in my opinion. I believe it would have been better with two tea bags in the pot instead of one. Placed a take out order and when we arrived was told they didn't receive the order, then we were told the order would be ready in a minute, then we were told it was being made. We are very understanding of businesses being short staffed and needing the extra time to prepare orders so we continued to wait. 45 minutes after the order was suppose to be finished and the carry out gentleman telling us it would be ready, was told that they cancelled the order. No apologies, no explanation. We didn't have the time to place "another" order nor did we want to as we felt lied too from the moment we arrive. The restaurant was not busy and the carry out gentleman appeared to have no idea what was going on. Drove 30 minutes to the restaurant and sat in the takeout area for 45 minutes resulting in no order. Unacceptable! Do not recommend!! You will receive better service elsewhere. read more

Because I'm gluten free by necessity, I haven't had Chinese food in a long time. Years. So when a friend asked to meet at PF Chang's and I remembered they have a gluten free menu, I said yes. My family doesn't frequent PF Chang's because it's pricier for Chinese food (and isn't as good as the Mom and Pop places near us). But I have to say that I really enjoyed my food. The gluten free menu isn't huge, but there's enough variety to find something to eat. The lunch portions only come in two options, and what I ended up getting was Chang's spicy chicken with brown rice. Like I said, I hadn't had Chinese in a long time... so this really hit the spot for me! The portion was pretty large, but I ate it all. Yum! My friend ordered sweet and sour chicken and it, unfortunately, came out cold. I'm not sure what happened, but the kitchen was backed up and I'm wondering if they let hers sit to wait on mine to finish being made. Regardless, they made her a new dish and it was sent out quickly and hot. Our server, Jessica, was really attentive and sweet. She seemed a bit frazzled by the back up, but she handled everything with grace and was friendly and helpful with our menu questions. While there was a gluten free dessert option - flourless cake with caramel sauce and berries - I didn't order any this time around. Overall, I had a nice experience at this PF Chang's. It won't be my first choice for a night out, but if I'm really wanting Chinese food, I know where I can go - if I'm willing to spend $20+ on lunch. read more

I will preface by saying I absolutely love the food here, which is why I find myself coming back time after time, even though the experience will be really frustrating. Service is insanely slow, even when it is not busy. When it is busy, I don't know if they don't have sufficient servers or what, but I always see a ton of food in the window NOT quickly going out to customers. Over the years the portions have decreased to the point that, as a small eater, I barely have enough in my lunch portion to be full. If I don't get a soup or salad to go with it, I'm starving within an hour. They also no longer bring the special sauce unless you request it. Their water also tastes *off*. I think they would benefit from a good water filter. If you come at lunch, don't expect to get out in under an hour. If you come in a group, you'll be lucky to be out in two. read more

Walking in the restaurant we noticed that most, if not all, of the tables were dirty and hadn't been bussed. The few people that were in the restaurant were all waiting to be served. No one had food except the people at the bar. We had to wait for a table to be cleaned off. Our server was okay, pretty pleasant person. He did spill a little drink on my daughter but he sincerely apologized and we believe he meant it. He came through the rest of the evening for us. We ordered amaretto sours which were basically just sours. We inquired about this and instead of remaking the drinks, the bartender "fixed" them but not really. The food was not really on par with PF Changs. My dumplings weren't the best and were pan fried way too hard. They could do a lot better with kid-friendly options too. me and my family decided to go have dinner at PF Chang's at keystone the crossing Friday evening 1/24/25. the food tasted horrible (like double spices) also not right flavor! and it looked horrible! i asked to add broccoli to my food as I usually do! the broccoli come in the side just steamed not cooked with the noodles like the other vegetables! the server claimed that the salt they used had other ingredients in it! he insisted to make me another plate. the food looked ok. but still didn't taste right.I let the server know but when he asked! I just went ahead and ate it at this pointe. so disappointing and frustrating in the same time! also my daughter ordered a desert that came with ice cream, her ice cream had hair in it. the service was horrible! we got no drinks for a while, until our appetizer showed up, than our drinks came (the place wasn't surprisingly busy as usual, wonder why?) I traveled with 5 other people and they voted to go here (though I really try not to visit chains in new cities). I obliged. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. We did the unlimited lettuce wraps and they kept coming with different sauces and we're extremely inconsistent in taste. After, I got the Pad Thai. I asked my colleague to try the noodles because I felt like they had a very strange taste. Super vinegary. He agreed. It seemed the chef dumped vinegar into my meal. The chicken itself was delicious but not the noodles or sauce. Another person I was with had another noodle plate and he complained his meal tasted like vinegar too. Then, I ordered a pomegranate lemonade and they ran out but still charged me for the pomegranate and I had to ask for a new ticket. I was not impressed with my visit. read more

I wish I wasn't having to give PF Chang's such a bad review as times before were better; definitely not like it used to be. To start, the portion sizes were very small. The food was lukewarm as soon as it arrived. The fried rice was dry, low in flavor, and there was also chunks of fried rice that they didn't evenly fry. My boyfriend had a rotting pea in his fried rice (pictured below). The Mongolian beef was very tough to eat, although the flavor was good. The only good thing was the crispy honey chicken and the Chang's spicy chicken. On top of all of this, all the plates we touched had black residue all over them which got on our hands and napkins which left stains on our clothes. Overall, it was extremely subpar and disappointing. We are ordering food later tonight to make up for the lack of food we got. Never going again and I hope you learn from our mistake. read more

Went here yesterday with two of my kids. We live over 2 hours away and came in from out of town for my daughter's gymnastics meet. Whenever we travel we try to find a PF Chang's nearby since we do not have one close to us and don't get it often. It's like a special treat for us. We saw there was one 20 mins away from the meet location, however opposite direction of home. But my kids were excited for the idea of going to PF Chang's so off we went. I had no idea when we arrived that the Big 10 was going on or that it was popular area for shopping (during Christmas season no less). We had to pay for parking in a parking garage and walk a couple blocks to get to the restaurant. We walked in and the hostesses informed us that even though the restaurant was almost empty, that they weren't taking any walk-ins, only reservations. Obviously we were super disappointed since I feel like we went out of our way to get there. However, the manager was super kind, understanding, and told the hostesses to seat us anyways. After the long day we had of traveling/competing, I appreciated that more than he could possibly imagine. I didn't get his name but wish he knew how much it meant to this tired mama! Our server was super sweet, nice, and attentive. The food as always was amazing and definitely the perfect ending to our long day before we traveled back home. Definitely will return when we are back in the area. This PF Chang's was located right in downtown Indy.
