We eat here all the time because we always get gifts cards for this place. Appetizers are probably my favorite menu items. Lettuce wraps are a must. It's ok but it's not authentic and it's pricey unless you go when they have deals and specials- Goodluck on the wait time for a table when they run specials. They can't get stuff spicy enough for me and they don't have dried pepper to add to your meal. Once I asked for spice and they gave me the siracha brand pepper and garlic blend- not the famous siracha product. This sauce makes the food taste bad it doesn't add heat to it. Another time I got fresh cut up peppers - better but not as good as having it already in the stir fry. Bring your own pepper if you want a spicy dish. This was our first visit to, PF Changs. Waitress was nice, we had to wait too long for our food! Don't understand why there was only two other tables with couples. If you have different hours than you need to post them. The hours on the door said you were open at 11 am. We stood there in the cold for 10 mins waiting for them to open, the guy that worked there saw us (there was 6 people waiting) and did not even come out to tell us until we tapped on the window to find out why they were not open as the posted hours indicated. Came here today on 01/22/22 at 6pm to collect a takeout order, hostesses we're doing a great job and we're very friendly. As a former hostess and server, I know it can be hard to keep up with a tough crowd, but they handled themselves with grace and stayed organized. Great work! Their menu has changed; I miss the items they have removed. I feel the menu is much simpler than it used to be with a lot fewer choices. Unfortunately, they removed most of my favorite items from the menu. Hopefully they will bring them back. The music playing in the dining area is much too loud to have a conversation with anyone at your table. I don't enjoy screaming in order to be heard. This has happened the last several times I've visited a PF Changs. The next time, I'm just going to walk out. I know they play fast, upbeat music to get people to eat faster so they can turn over more tables. The service has almost always been good so no complaints there. read more

This is not, I repeat, NOT anywhere near Chinese food. Nor is it "Asian Fusion" It is american style fair with a hint of Asian flair. No sesame oil in sight! This is probably me and my gf's favorite chain restaurant to eat a nice dinner. We ordered the spicy tuna roll, dynamite shrimp, and then Szechuan beef and hokkien street noodles. From all the times I ate sushi the rice from the spicy tuna roll was a little bit hard kind of like when you make raw rice, but the tuna was fresh. Every other dish was more than phenomenal. Most notably, the shrimp was the highlight of the night. The outside had the perfect amount of crunch without feeling overly greasy and the sauces here are nuanced and well balanced. The beef had a bit more chew than I would have liked but not in a bad way. The hokkien street noodles are probably the best noodle choice out of the options given here. They are thin noodles tossed with a light curry sauce (not Indian curry more like Japanese curry flavoring). Service and ambience were great. Definitely recommend stopping by! read more

PF Chang's are usually located connected to a mall and near a Cheesecake Factory. This one is neither. Though it is near an open air shopping center...I guess that counts. I have eaten at numerous PFC across the country. Beside great customer service, this location has a slightly unique interior. Specifically w/ the lighting, as most PFCs (I have been to about 20 different sites) usually have some sort of paper circular lighting feature that is strangely absent from this location. In addition, the ceiling here is different than most w/ a lot of exposed beams (see my pic as compared to the other stock pics). The food here is typical PFC fare. I have been to this site a few times and the meals have been consistently good. They have also been accommodating in enabling me to have the orange peel chicken w/ out breading and sauce on the side...and w/ out hassle. They also carry brown rice which a nice healthier alternative to plain white rice. Overall a solid example of a PFC w/ consistently decent service. Would I say this is the best Chinese food you will ever have...no. But it is ok enough for a pleasant night out w/ family or even coworkers. read more

It's been years since I've eaten at a PF changs and my return was nothing short of a wonderful time. The food and service was very good. Our server was very nice and did an excellent job. The spare ribs were good but a little over sauced. Lettuce wraps and orange shrimp were just as good as I remembered. Wonton soup had a good flavor as well. read more

Avoid if at all possible. Was quoted a 20-30 minute wait which was no problem. After an hour fifteen of watching parties who arrived and told the same wait time (and party size) get seated we left. Hostess seemed to know some of these people and they were shifted to front of line and they did not have reservations as I sat next to the hostess stand and heard everything (including offensive comments). At one point was told 2 parties ahead of us and after 3 were sat asked again (politely) and told 5 parties ahead of us. Had issues with this location before as my family reminded me. read more

We love coming to Changs. This one is the closest to home at about an hour away. Never too crowded, and situated at the Fallen Timbers shops (outdoor mall). Food was good but not great and definitely not worth what they charge. In my opinion a slight upgrade in food from something like Panda Express but a lot more expensive. Probably wouldn't go back just based on that. Spent 70$(20 dollar tip) total. Got the two entrees, bowl of fried rice and 6 dumplings for $50 basically. Took my mother-in-law for her birthday. We were not disappointed except they had my daughter's order wrong but quickly fixed it. The Lettuce wraps did not disappoint. I had sweet and sour chicken with white rice. Very good, would have liked a little more sauce with it. My daughter enjoyed the shrimp fried rice which was a large serving. My mother-in-law had the honey chicken which she has had before and very much enjoyed. Overall the service was good. I think we had a newer waitress. It took two tries to get the wrong item which they brought for my daughter taken off of the bill. Make sure you sign up for the Rewards program and I purchased a gift card off of Raise.com before going which helped save some money. We stopped in tonight for dinner around 7:00 on our way home to Ft. Wayne after spending hours at a car dealership. My husband ordered the Honey Chicken and it was undercooked. He happened to flag down our waitress and she informed a manager whom immediately stepped into action. She took his plate back, spoke with the kitchen and then came back to the table to apologize, again. Not only did she apologize, but she said our entire meal was taken care of and we could order dessert if we liked. Our 5yo loved the idea of that, but of course we were way too full for dessert. Went there on a weekday to celebrate wife's birthday. Got seated after a little wait which was nice. Hostess came by to take our drinks order and since we were hungry ordered our food too and asked them to bring it out as soon as things were ready. Food came out quickly and tasted good- all great. My issue though was with service, except the hostess who had taken our order and who we flagged down to get a couple of things, no server came to our table. One stopped by towards the end to ask if our soup ever made it but since we were almost finished I said it was ok to cancel since we hadn't gotten it so far, he still brought it out and my son who had wanted it but already finished his meal by now refused to eat it. Then flagged someone else to ask for dessert menu since it was my wife's birthday. Got that and some boxes. 15 minutes later flagged someone else to ask if our dessert was coming. We normally love P.F. Chang's so when we saw there was one in Maumee where we were spending the night we ordered it with delivery to our hotel. Three orders arrived without any utensils so no way to eat it and the rice had a hair in it. If you order make sure to ask for utensils if you need them. Disappointed! read more

Another big corporate America restaurant that provides meals that are consistent throughout the country. Is that bad thing? No. Just something that I like to avoid if there are smaller places to go to - especially in Toledo where too often does the small man get pushed out. I was not planning on going to P.F., but their wait was 15 minutes shorter than Granite City (even though it is a smaller chain itself) and I was very hungry - so hunger prevailed this time. Almost everything you get will be decent. These meals have been tested over time and probably have more research done with them than one could imagine. They're good. The crowd is lively and the place was full, even for a late dinner starting at 8:30pm. I don't know if I would go to P.F. Chang's and expect a mind-blowing Chinese meal, but it is a nice place. Hell, when I talk with some of my Chinese friends, they have a hard time calling it Chinese despite it having many of the popular dishes that other places have. The food quality is good, the prices are not too bad, and the service is really good as well. I probably would not go out of my way to for this place, but if I was overly hungry and Granite City had an extra long wait - then P.F. it is! read more

Had a great experience here the other night. If it's a weekend, make reservations. We made reservations for 7pm. I overheard the hostess tell people it was an hour to hour-and-fifteen minute wait, but we were seated right away. That was impressive. The service was excellent. They had a limited time special going on for two people - not sure how long it runs, but it was an excellent deal. Soup for both, an appetizer to split, entrees for both, and two mini desserts for $40. Can't really beat that. I tried the hot and sour soup, but it was a little thicker, darker, and tarter than I'm used to. I also tried a sip of the egg drop soup which was not like egg drop that I've had before either. I actually liked PF Chang's much better. We got the ahi tuna appetizer. The portion left a little to be desired, but considering the deal we were getting, I couldn't complain. It was really good as far as taste is concerned. We ordered the honey chicken and Chang's spicy chicken. I loved the spicy chicken. It wasn't breaded heavily or too heavily fried. The flavor was good. I could eat it on a regular basis. The honey chicken was good too, but I thought it lacked a little in the flavor department and it was breaded heavier than I normally like. We tried mini versions of two desserts - they come in shot glasses. The chocolate mousse was really good and the red velvet cake was good, but lacked a little in the texture department. Not sure if it was because it was crammed into a shot glass or what. Overall, the service was great. The price was right. And we walked out feeling satisfied, but not "Chinese food stuffed." read more

I placed a pick-up order for Mongolian potstickers, fried rice and two bowls of egg drop soup. After a wait time of over forty minutes, my order was supposed to be ready. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I had to stand in a line designated for to go orders. While that normally would not be a big deal, I stood there for twenty minutes before I finally talked to someone. The pot stickers looked different than the last time I had ordered them, but I was assured they were Mongolian potstickers. Once I left the restaurant and was pulling into my drive way, the restaurant called to inform me they had left out the potstickers I had ordered and I could come back to get them. So I turn around and drive back. When I do arrive home with my order almost two hours after placing it, the egg drop soup is barely edible and the potstickers I drove all the way back for were completely burned on the bottom. While I received kind service, I wonder what the point of it is if they were just going to give me abysmal food. read more

Last night was our first dining experience at Changs, and it was amazing! My brother-in-law described it as a higher-end Pei Wei and that's pretty accurate. This location has a great dark asian atomosphere inside. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get a table (we arrived at 9:30 pm). We enjoyed hanging out at the bar until our table was ready. We had the meal for two that consisted of a soup, appetizer, and entree for each of us with one desert to share. I had egg drop soup, Dynamite Shrimp, and Spicy Chicken with New York Style Cheesecake for desert. Everything was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The manager even comped our appetizer and desert when he heard that me and my wife hadn't had a date away from the kids in 4 months. Overall a great experience and a great get-away. read more
