I think there's only a few national restaurant chains that really seem to get it right and I feel like P.F. Chang's is one of them. This location is at the Streets of Saint Charles complex and on a busy weekend night finding a parking spot on the surface lots can be challenging. Try the free parking garage. It has a traditional P.F. Chang's look with the large horse statue in front. The restaurant has low lighting and is a bit on the dark side in the evening. Our service was quite good by our server, Cody. The staff seemed to be working efficiently as a team to keep up with clearing plates off the table, filling water, etc. I really like that they had some cocktail specials and I tried the jade margarita that was surprisingly well done. Our table started with the cauliflower dish and it was a great mix of spice with some onion and bell peppers. Everyone seemed to like it. I ordered the Ma Po tofu and enjoyed it. It was dice-sized cubes of tofu that had a little bit of crispness to them, and a spicy sweet chili sauce served over a bed of al dente broccoli. Not quite sure how to feel about PF Chang's. The menu is definitely built around crowd-pleasers like Mongolian beef and fried rice with huge portions. But at the end of the day, it's a mix of fast Asian food and a sit down restaurant. Food itself is a hit-or-miss and this location was not it for me. I popped in for a late lunch/early dinner while on a business trip. I sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and sweet. I ordered a coconut Mojito, and it was so refreshing! I also had the crab wontons, which weren't as flavorful as I would've hoped. But I also got a medium size portion of the Mongolian beef with scallions and a side of steamed rice. It was delicious! After enjoying an afternoon at the Fox, my nieces and I stopped at here for dinner before going our separate ways. We were hungry...so our order was rather extensive. Our drink choices were a coke, the pomegranate lemonade, and the peach boba. The lemonade and boba will definitely be ordered again - so good. Starters: boa, pan seared dumplings, and Korean cauliflower. All good and would do again. I had previously had Korean cauliflower at Ramsey's Kitchen, this did not compare to that (not as crispy), but still good. The dumplings were fantastic, great dipping sauce. Meals: Kung poa Chicken with white rice, crispy honey with lo mein, and Trio Mangolian dish (chicken, beef, and shrimp) with fried rice. The lo mein was the best side, their noodles were very good. All main dishes were good! The fried rice was off, the table behind us sent their brown rice back because it didn't taste right to them. We couldn't figure out what was off about it. We had attempted to go to Firebirds, but they had a three hour wait. Due to that we ended up at PF Changs having a meal we didn't know we wanted til look we were there. Our waiter, Phil, was getting a run for his money. It picked up after we had been there about ten minutes and he was running between all the tables - but made sure our cups stayed full and our food was delivered hot. They've updated their menu. My husband ordered something new, Teriyaki Beef, and said it's the first thing he's really liked. I ordered GF chicken lettuce wraps. They were tasty and the lettuce (butter?) perfectly balanced the flavors of the chicken. Service was good. I ordered through door dash and they gave the wrong order to the dasher because the first name were the same. When I finally did get my order, the salmon was over cooked and super dry. And the lettuce wraps were very salty. I've had them before and have enjoyed for the most part their food but at a different location. I can't speak on the restaurant itself since I order delivery. I was pleasantly surprised in my recent visit. I normally do not eat at chain restaurants. I went with a friend based on her recommendation. The last time I visited this restaurant was in Colorado Springs. I did not have a good experience. This time was completely different. We had a reservation for 2@ 7:30 pm and walked into a mostly empty restaurant. With an empty restaurant we were still seated in the annex where there was no heat going. We ordered a mai tai and hot tea to drink. Our food order was street noodles and spicy chicken which took forever to make it to the table. By that time we were over it; asked for to go boxes for our entrees. Hubby gave card to waiter for bill and while he was signing the receipt I looked at the printout. We were charged for half gallon of fresh brewed tea Will probably not be visiting or recommending that location. Haven't been to PF Chang's in a while so decided to give it a try one night out in Saint Charles before movie. Went on a Friday night so it was pretty busy in streets of Saint Charles, but it was easy to find somewhere to park in their lot outside. Our server was nice and pretty efficient. One of our items did come out pretty cold, but they quickly took it back to the kitchen and fix that for us. I appreciate the veggie options for non-meat eaters. The tofu dish was pretty good and flavorful. I also like their pick two meal. I wish there was a little less batter on the green beans as well as maybe some different sauce options. It's a nice spacious restaurant with a nice seating area and plenty of options for larger groups if needed. You can also make reservations online. read more

My daughter and I had a dinner and movie date night. We went to P.F. Chang's at Streets of St. Charles. They have plenty of parking but it's often crowded because there are so many businesses in the area. They had a nice crowd but we were able to get seated right away. We were pleasantly surprised to see some nice menu changes. They had a dinner for two that you could share starting at around $19.00+. You can also add on items for an additional fee. She had salad, Mongolian tofu. I had soup and crispy honey shrimp. We shared some crispy green beans and Crab Rangoon. We enjoyed our dinner. My soup was barely warm but the server took care of that for me. They had some nice drink offerings but we just drank water. We were too full for dessert. We had a nice evening. read more

I went here last night since normally I like this chain. When we walked in the hosts were not very inviting, they kind of blankly stared at us then had to ask around to see which server would take us (it was 6pm) so it's not like we were there at a weird time. It took awhile for A server to "choose" us. At this point I was about to leave but decided to stick it out. We were sat in a corner next to 5 other tables which felt kind of squished since the entire restaurant was practically empty. I asked the host of we can move for some more space and the same blank stare happened and she said she'd have to see who would take us. Once we sat down it took 10 minutes to get waters or for our server to even come up to us. Once she finally made her way to us we put in our order all at once, since we've been waiting. We ordered this deal they had going on which was a soup or salad, appetizer, and entree for $19.99. I ordered the hot and sour soup and my boyfriend ordered the egg drop soup. The egg drop soup had zero flavor, it tasted like hot Egg water and my hot and sour soup was SOO sour something was wrong. We ordered the crab Rangoon and when we got them they had a VERY strong fishy taste. Completely inedible. I told the server and she was honestly very nice and offered to switch it out for something else we choose the lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps were OK at best. Kind of had a burnt taste. When the entree arrived my boyfriend had spicy chicken and rice and the rice was very under cooked and crunchy. The chicken tasted like it was frozen in a bag... barely edible. I had the signature lo mein with chicken and it was so bland and tasted like packaged ramen noodles. The waitress ended up redeaming herself as the night went on. I was a bit unsure about eating here given the reviews which were all over the place from poor to average with few good reviews. I figured i we just look at their specials and see what got the highest ratings, but that didn't work out either because each of their items arranged from five to one without any continuity of consistent food preparation. But this was the most convenient so we ordered out it and picked it up. I decided on ordering the Singapor Street Noodles which i found very good. I would recomend the Street Noodles giving them a solid 4 stars. The Mongolian Beef had good flavor but not a great cut of beef with some grissle - 3 stars. The lettuce wraps were ok. Fresh lettuce, good flavor but chicken a bit overcooked- 3 stars. The vegetables with mushroom and tofu had a decent sauce but chef was lazy and didnt clean the snow peas correctly removing the stringy parts. The snow peas were fresh but the stringy parts made it difficult eat - 2 stars. One person ordered LoMein and was very undatisfied - she threw it away so I'd give it 1 star. In sumary, get the street noodles and youll be happy. read more

This was my family's first visit to this chain and we will be back! It's not easy to get a consensus among all 4 of us but everyone loved their food and we all shared with each other. They have kind of 2 different seating areas at this location. One is darker and more open and one is brighter over by the windows in an atrium feeling area. Yesterday was my husband's birthday. He loves Asian food of any kind. The location closest to us closed some time ago. So we went to St Charles. Parking after 5 on a Friday night was insane. We found parking a couple stores away. It was fine and understandable. The restaurant was nice and cozy. Upon being seated, my friend wasted her water on me from across the table. Our waitress came with towels to help clean the table and me. She brought new plates & silverware all while answering questions about the menu. A hostess came around offering a taste of a drink special. We all tasted it. It was good. After the drink sample we all ordered. My niece got the glass noodles. There was something in them she was allergic to. We're not sure what that was. However, it was handled quickly. She ordered a new entree and it was out before we knew it. Our food was delicious. The waitstaff was very attentive. The general manager came by to greet us. We had a great time with food and conversation. Unfortunately 3 out of the 4 of us went home with tingling tongues. We are all allergic to different things so we are not sure what got us. The only thing we had in common was the drink. Overall, a great time was had by all. You should go. I had the opportunity to go to P.F.Changs with my work crew yesterday. We ordered a variety of items and all were pretty tasty. Wonton Soup was excellent, Fried Rice was so large, Tempura Shrimp Sushi was very good. I wasn't a fan of the Pork Dumplings (the pork was overcooked). I also ordered some drinks... almost all were good except for the Lucky Dragon... it was supposed to be a Rum drink but I didn't taste any rum and someone put a ton of lime in it. An embarrassment for management and PF Chang's, from the beginning. Thursday dinner service in an almost empty restaurant. Tardy waitress arrived and took our order for a bottle of wine and dinner. Wine never arrived, but dinner did. Sent dinner back, and was told they were out of our wine. Ordered a different bottle thirty dollars more expensive, and asked for the manager. Got an already opened bottle of the wine, which manager had to advise the server how to present and pour. Was told this was an experienced waitress, not a rank beginner. And was advised they did in fact have the bottle of the wine I'd originally ordered. Got dinner - an overcooked piece of salmon. Dinnerware consisted solely of a fork, so had to ask for a knife to cut broccoli side dish in mouth-sized pieces. Manager and waitress spent the rest of our time asking "if everything was OK." Manager did comp the meal, and we tipped the poor waitress generously, but this was 100% a management training issue. For sure not up to PFC standards. read more

When seated the table had not been wiped down and was covered in sticky sauce. The walls seats are equally in need of cleaning. Came here for a bday dinner and it was really good. First off I love the area its located St.Charles, lots of bars and restaurants and places to walk around. The restaurant was beautiful inside,very elegant and classy for a Chinese restaurant. We went on a week day so it wasn't very crowded and we were seated right away. The drinks were really good and we ordered appetizers, I had to get some sushi and my boyfriend got the ribs. The ribs were absolutely delicious,fall off the bone and the sauce was amazing. My sushi was delicious and the sweet and tangy shrimp on the sushi I could eat by itself. So good. So for the entrees they are big family style portions. I ordered salmon with vegetables and orange chicken, definitely plan to share. They offer birthday specials, instead of the Cheesecake I was able to get red velvet which is my favorite so that was nice and it came with a cute sparkler which I loved! I had a really good experience here. It had been a while since I had visited a PF Chang's location. From walking straight into this location I asked if I could stay at the bar and of course I was able to. As soon as I arrived at the bar I was greeted by the polite young man whom I think he said his name was Will. The vibe here was very welcoming calm and cool. I wanted to get something a little decent to eat and have a nice little drink and just watch a little bit of sports on the TV being that it was my last night in Missouri. So I tried one of their Asian pear Mojito's, And I had the shrimp pad Thai. Everything for my drink to my food to my service was great. I would highly recommend dining at this location as from what I could see in here all of the staff made you feel as you were a priority. Tried to go here for dinner tonight to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We walked in and it was a 25 minute wait--no big deal and expected on a Saturday evening. We had a drink at the bar. Bartender service was fine. Bartenders were friendly and efficient. Got a text that our table was ready. The hospitality desk (host/hostesses) were also fine. We were seated. We ended up sitting for almost 15 minutes with no one even greeting us even though we saw our (we assume) server walk by us 3-4 times, helping her other tables. She looked at us, stopped, and then turned and kept walking which we took as our cue to leave. This is one of my favorite places to have dinner. I've loved everything I've ever tried from their menu. They used to have lobster dumplings with a cream sauce that was absolutely incredible, but it was a seasonal addition, and it hasn't been on the menu in years. I also especially love their Kung Pao Chicken and order it often. The decor at every location I've been to has been absolutely gorgeous, creating just the right ambience for any occasion. The staff are always friendly, personable, and knowledgeable, and everything I've ever eaten here has been delicious. I can't wait to go back. read more
