Came here for a bday dinner and it was really good. First off I love the area its located St.Charles, lots of bars and restaurants and places to walk around. The drinks were really good and we ordered appetizers, I had to get some sushi and my boyfriend got the ribs. The ribs were absolutely delicious,fall off the bone and the sauce was amazing. My sushi was delicious and the sweet and tangy shrimp on the sushi I could eat by itself. So good. So for the entrees they are big family style portions. I ordered salmon with vegetables and orange chicken, definitely plan to share. They offer birthday specials, instead of the Cheesecake I was able to get red velvet which is my favorite so that was nice and it came with a cute sparkler which I loved! Tried to go here for dinner tonight to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We walked in and it was a 25 minute wait--no big deal and expected on a Saturday evening. We had a drink at the bar. Bartender service was fine. Bartenders were friendly and efficient. Got a text that our table was ready. The hospitality desk (host/hostesses) were also fine. We were seated. We ended up sitting for almost 15 minutes with no one even greeting us even though we saw our (we assume) server walk by us 3-4 times, helping her other tables. She looked at us, stopped, and then turned and kept walking which we took as our cue to leave. Host at the stand did seem to care at least but at that point it was too late after the server knowing we were there. read more

I really didn't want to have to write a review like this. This location has been a favorite of mine since they opened. It was a place to come for a semi-fancy evening dinner, and the food has always been good. I have no issue with the food, but the service was non-existent. It has been a long time since I've felt this ignored at any establishment. It started with the hostess or lack of one. Not sure where she was, but on a busy Saturday night, with an hour wait for tables and people coming in all the time, you need more than one person to host. After I was there almost ten minutes, she reappeared. It was then another ten minutes to get seated (now about ten minutes past my reservation time). We were seated and given menus and then left alone for about 15 minutes. No water, no greeting from wait staff. Nothing. Finally, a waitress appeared apologizing that she "didn't see us" - but then I didn't see her either until she came out from the back. Are the staff eating their dinners at peak times? We then waited another long period - maybe 10-15 minutes for her to reappear and take the order. Thankfully, we ordered the appetizer and entree right then or who knows when she would have come back. Not exaggerating here - a full 30 minutes later, we finally had our appetizer. And then within 5 minutes the entree came out - conveniently brought out before we had finished. The person bringing the entree did not offer to take any of the dishes away that we were done with. Once we had eaten, a different waitress had taken over, and I will give the staff credit for at least projecting a positive attitude and being pleasant. They are clearly short staffed and not by one or two people. The dining room was maybe half full on a Saturday night with many customers waiting. The last thing was paying the check, which was starting to become another ordeal of waiting. I had to wave vigorously to what appeared to be a manager to come take the card. I am not sure who runs this facility anymore. This is what I considered to be a flagship location at Streets of St. Charles. It has become such a different and lesser experience than I recall, and I will not return to PF Changs. There are many other options for places to eat at Streets of St. Charles. My best advice is to look anywhere else. read more

This is one of my favorite places to have dinner. I've loved everything I've ever tried from their menu. They used to have lobster dumplings with a cream sauce that was absolutely incredible, but it was a seasonal addition, and it hasn't been on the menu in years. I also especially love their Kung Pao Chicken and order it often. Hubby and I did a last minute date night. We came here because we've never been and wanted to try something new. There was a long wait for the dining area so we decided to sit at the bar. We had a really nice bartender and she was very helpful. They make really good drinks too. I will say, the wait for food was too long. I ordered calamari and it was overcooked. Sent it back to wait another 30 minutes. Now I understand since COVID, everything takes forever due to staffing but don't make me wait that long for mediocre food. We brought a large group for a staff Christmas lunch. We called a day or two ahead to let them know the number of people in our party. When we arrived we were seated right away and a server was quickly taking our drink orders. They got the drinks out quickly and also quickly took our food orders. Many times I've been in a large group and got my food and it was cold or lukewarm because the restaurant wants to get the dishes out to the group all at the same time. So some dishes sit in the kitchen for a while waiting on the rest to be completed. That was not the case on this occasion. The food was piping hot and delicious. In my experience at Chang's the food is pretty consistent and tasty. We all enjoyed it. A couple of people in our group had not been to Chang's and were very impressed. Meal started off with the seasonal special appetizer, Lobster Dumplings... these are amazing! 6 to an order for $12, but very worth it. I actually enjoyed these the most and almost ordered another. For my meal, I had additional appetizers of Crab Wontons and Pork Dumplings with a side of spinach. Food was enjoyable, seasoned well and freshly made. Spinach could have sauteed for about another 30 seconds, but had nice flavor and served the purpose for being the veggie of my day. Service was very good. Only downpoint to this visit was the lack of attention in the women's restroom. This is my first ever Yelp review, but I feel inclined to warn people about this PF Changs. I'm hoping this was just a rare mishap due to me ordering to-go. However, the Kung Pao Chicken was pretty rough, almost inedible. Burnt to a crisp, way too salty, and had more red chili peppers than chicken. I've always loved PF Changs and have enjoyed a large variety of them during my travels. This one though was way off the mark. Again, I hope this was a rare case, but it was pretty bad. Disappointing visit to say the least. Arrived with reservations at 12:35 for a lunch date. Server took a bit to get to our table, which is understandable with a bit of a lunch rush. After ordering apps the dining area began to clear out and apps got out around 1:15, for a single sushi roll and lettuce wraps, that's fine, whatever. But then the issues really began, we hardly saw our server after that. We had empty water cups and plates that were empty after enjoying our apps. About 15 minutes later we placed our order and 10 minutes after that our server informs us that one of the entrees is not available. We have plans and budgeted 45-1hr for lunch. Well it is now 1:45pm and we asked for our entrees to be packaged to-go due to our plans. With the price of dishes, the service should be far better than this. We spoke to the hostess who was enjoying a lunch of fortune cookies to see if our food was ready because our server stated "the food should be right out!" But it took 20 minutes to find out we are still waiting on our second entree. We saw a couple get up and leave because they hadn't been tended to by their server. The entire dining area had cleared out by now, while we still waited. Then at 2:10 we got our entrees to-go and left. Was hoping to be happily surprised with our entrees but that did not happen. Pictured is the $24 Mongolian Beef, a disappointing serving sizes to say the least. My wife had never been to PF Changs and I had been to other locations and spoke highly of it. Normally go for a local Chinese restaurant but had a special occasion and decided to do the family carryout deal hoping for an elevated experience. Ordered via the app several hours ahead of time and food was not ready when requested. Waited 25 minutes to pickup - at one point the server brought us the wrong order for someone else (thankfully we noticed and advised). Finally 10 minute later (30 minutes after the scheduled time) the food was ready. Get it home - rice was cold and only half full in the containers. Missing 2 of the 5 entrees we ordered as well.... we live nearby and food was slightly warm at best. We got the Kung pao Drangon roll sushi, hoped it would come out first? No it came out last, we both tried one piece and thought it was the worst sushi we'd ever had. Didn't eat it. The pot stickers were stale, bland and tasted like glue, the soy sauce and vinegar was even messed up. The fried rice was flavorless and not in a clean food way. The pepper beef was also bland lacked depth and you know... pepper. The Chang's chicken was ok at best and had a soggy texture. I came in without a reservation for my birthday, because I didn't think I would need one, and upon being sat irregardless of having one, my service was not up to par. Me being there seemed to be a chore to the wait staff and I felt undermined and treated poorly. The food was decent, but I could have bought it at Walmart for much cheaper -- they sell it there too. The restaurant was essentially empty besides a couple at the bar area, but there was a big party who left their table. It took P.f. chang's 30 minutes to clean it off. Not sure if this is happening outside of this particular location or not, but when dining last week, I noticed after leaving that we were AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED a "pub improv fee." Not quite as fresh tasting as drunken fish and some other sushi places but still pretty good. Entrees: I got the shrimp and lobster rice dish which again had the fish Fried and not enough of it. Basically a fried rice dish. Fiance got the surf and turf. That was very good but maybe too much butter and grease for my taste. Filet was very tender. Wait staff was very nice. Atmosphere is super cool too. The chocolate cake was outstanding! Fluffy layers of cake. Rich and moist and served warm. I just wish it didn't take 35min to come out of the kitchen.
