Update: I decided to give this place a second chance after losing my studs the day i got my nails done and having 5 broken nails in a period of a week and a half after my initial visit (in which they did fix 2 but after 3...4.. and 5 I removed the set because I do not have time to be going in every day for that "quick fix") I went in again 4 days ago and got a simple 1 color full set with 3 studs on 2 nails and it came out to $50. I wouldn't mind paying the price if the nails lasted more than a few days. It is extremely expensive and I am very unsatisfied, I have already lost 2 studs and this morning what do you know.... My daughter and I had our nails done by Jazmine Friday night. We were both asked if our nails looked alright and we said yes. However, once I got home I noticed my nails snagging on clothes,blankets,etc. So of course I looked at my nails closely and saw the acrylic was applied uneven, they were not smooth, my thumb is crooked, and my daughter has similar issues with her nails. I contacted the owner Valerie and she said we can come back in to have a couple of nail techs to fix them. I advised, I was not comfortable having anyone at her shop to fix them and would like my refund of $101.00. Per Valerie she will not refund my money for someone else to fix them and it will be a quick fix for them to fix. So now, my daughter and I are unhappy and did not receive $101 quality work. Thank you for your response, however as I stated i do not feel comfortable with having work done at your location. Yes, you did overhear me say I've been to 2 others salons, but you did not hear me say they were not good in quality. Great little nail salon!! The girls are really nice and they helped me figure out what happen to one of my nails. They explained how to fix it and treat it and had I gone to one of other Asian salons they probably wouldn't have told me at all. They were so nice to talk to and they did a great job on my nails and my mother-in-laws full gel set. Great Price!! For my fill & nail fix it was $19 AWESOME!! I've been following them on instagram for months and hadnt gone because it's a long drive for me. Well I really wanted nail art for February so I booked an appointed with Reyna. She was awesome at communicating and understood exactly what I wanted. When I got there the staff was very friendly. The decor is cute and they offered complimentary beverages. There were also lil chocolates by the register which I thought was so sweet of them. Reyna did an amazing job with my nails and exceeded my expectations. Liz is the absolute best, ive been coming here for almost a year and have been going with Liz for the last 7-8 months. ONLY downfall is her timing, theres maybe been 1 appointment in all the times Ive seen her that she ls actually on time to do my nails. I mean i know shes that good, but damn.... theres been times where she has double booked me, called me a couple times to reschedule because she was running behind. A couple of weeks ago I was 5 minutes from arriving when she calls me to come in an hour later as she was behind, I went back home and didnt bother coming back that same day as i dont live close by. So i rescheduled first thing at 8 am a day later, its now 805 am and im sitting in my car reading her text that she'll be there within 30 minutes... i am done with rescheduling my time when my appointments are NEVER on time, why bother even setting an apt. Reyna does an amazing job! I've had my nails done by this place and I always get compliments. Nails last at least 3 to 4 weeks. Prices are definitely fair for what you're getting. Parking is a little bit difficult when you come on the weekend. I came on a Tuesday and it was fine but definitely keep it in mind. They have an online system we can make appointments from which definitely makes it convenient. I personally like to call and speak with someone but it's an option. To keep it short, the nails here look great when you leave, but after a day or two they are a mess. I had a gel manicure that was peeling off within 3 days and a crystal full set that the crystals all popped off or faded within 48hrs, both done by Jasmine. I tried to come in to get them fixed, but they have such a small staff and hours available I couldn't get in and had to go get them fixed at my normal spot around the corner. I like Jasmine as a person and its nice being in there solo without others talking around you, but with high prices for nails that dont last I just have to say I'll never be back. First let me say that it took me a LONG time to find a nail shop that could do what I really like. Renya was very knowledgeable and did exactly what I wanted. I will say that the "upgrades" gel, stones, nail art is a bit pricey and can add up quick but I enjoyed my service and got 5.00 off for being a first time visitor which I appreciated. The parking can be really bad so beware. Overall I love my nails and I will be coming back. read more

I love this cute nail salon centrally located in Chula Vista. I get my nails done by nail queen Reyna and she always does beautiful work...Whenever I come in with a nail design idea or inspiration she always makes it come to life. Everyone on the staff there is always very friendly and welcoming and the owner Valeri is very accommodating as well. Alyssa was nice, and my bf felt good during the entire process. But after she finished, I found out she did not clean my bf feet thoroughly. There was some foot mask on one of his foot, the amount was very noticeable, and I have to ask her to clean it again. It was a big issue, the service she gave was great. However, she was not familiar with the price of the service. She overcharged the pedicure for $7; I will consider that as a tip but hope she can study more on the menu. JAZMINE IS TERRIBLE, DO NOT BOOK APPOINTMENT WITH HER. I read some previous comments and people complained about her, and from what I observed before, most of the time she is free in the store with no customers. So I thought I could do my nails when my bf is enjoying his pedicure. My appointment was at 5 pm, and I arrive on time. At first, the other nail artist said she is finishing up and ask me to have a sit. But it turned out I WAITED ALMOST AN HOUR, this is not acceptable. Later, when she finally able to do my nails, I asked her professional opinion about " should I get an acrylic fill or get a new acrylic set?" She said my nails should be fine with fill BECAUSE SHE DON'T HAVE TIME for a new set. Seriously???!!! You make me wait for an hr and telling me you just want to finish your job fast? Love the name, the cleanliness, and the complimentary mimosa I was given when I first came to this place! My nail tech was very nice and personable, however my nail job was just okay. The color looked great before leaving, but when I got home to inspect them, the color was uneven. I got my nails done Sunday and one of my nails has chipped already. My toe nails came out great! I paid $40 for a gel mani and pedicure and tipped 10, not too bad but I want at least a week with no chips, I'll give this place another shot, hope it goes better, otherwise on the hunt again!! read more

I was in need of a manicure and pedicure and called this place because I was messaging them on Facebook and they had a whole deal package of pedicure ($15) and manicure ($16) with cuticle care, massage, treatment, and etc. I was intrigued because normal nail salons don't do all of that unless it's the delux mani or pedi. Anyways, I called and asked if I can come in around 6:00pm, and they said I had to come in at the moment or wait until Tuesday (not sure why). I had to think real quick because it was so sudden for me, but I came in anyways. I came in and waited a bit but eventually got greeted. I had Karina do my pedicure and manicure. She was very nice. The only thing I felt was that I was being rushed with my pedicure when all I wanted to do was relax for a bit. She massaged me a little, but it just felt she was just kinda rubbing it. I wished she gave more effort in making me feel good because I really needed it. Not a big deal though just a little thing they can work on is actually making the customer feel good and actually taking their time. After that I got a manicure and I think she gave me a cuticle treatment but I'm not sure because I didn't really feel she did anything to them. She slightly pushed them back I felt but I didn't feel much of a change. I got a little had massage and again it felt like a little rub. Wish she did more. Then she painted my nails and they were okay. I tried to tell her to make them almond shaped and even them out but she said she couldn't do much with my nails. I was a bit bummed. I then waited until my nails were dry but I wasn't sure if they were but she said they were but be careful so I stayed longer to make sure. I still wasn't sure if they were dry but she seemed like she just wanted to go home so I just said they were fine and she automatically cleaned everything up like she was ready to be done. I then paid the $31 plus $5 tip I gave her. And then left. When I came home I held my son and saw my nail peeled a bit off and I was super upset. I guess they weren't dry. Would I come back? Probably not. I came because Facebook said they would me massage me and make me feel good and treatments and everything. I didn't feel I got the full treatment that they said they would give for the $36 I paid for just a manicure and a pedicure. Overall, Karina is super nice as a person. I chose a light color for my nails and after the second coat you could still see through the nail and polish and it looked blotchy. I asked for another coast and the nail technician got an attitude like she was annoyed at the request and rushed through the rest of the process like I was troubling her. She didn't even do the design I asked for. Instead, she did the design she had time for and expected me to pay for that. With the amount of money they charge here you think they would be more meticulous and patient when a customer asked for something specific especially if it was something they needed to fix. They have some great designs, but scheduling here is a disaster. It is a young run company and it shows. It seems very disorganized and the communication amongst their own team is terrible/non-existent. **If you are going to spend this kind of money I would recommend spending it in another place that actually listens to its customers and cares about the quality of service they are providing. read more

When my work was done I was so happy with my results just thinking.....finally I get the look I've been trying to go for that these other nails salons do not provide or even know how to do! I will start off by saying I will never ever ever go to this nail shop again nor will I ever refer them to anyone my experience was horrible.when I initially talked to Valerie to make the appointment she was so nice she had great customer service she spoke so highly of the girls that work at the nail shop and I decided to make the appointment and come in.when I went in there were no prices displayed but I did follow them on Instagram so I was able to go to the website to make an appointment but when I tried to make an appointment they wanted my credit card information so of course I didnt put my credit card information but in the mist of all that I saw their prices and a full set of 30 and fill was 20 and then little so im thinking OK I'll probably end up paying like maybe 40 bucks, 50. my appointment was with Jasmine I showed her what I wanted off their Instagram and it just so happened that She was the nail artist of the design that I like so I was like cool but I overhear her asking her coworker how to do it that shouldve been my red flag regretfully I didn't Say anything.so I got one now on each hand chromed and the other one with the design that I saw on Instagram she's ringing me up and I'm noticing like damn she's clicking a lot of stuff so by the time she was done the total came to $84 (btw I got my 10-year-old daughter a pedicure and that was $21) AnyWay, im livid but I don't show it I just thanked Jasmine gave her a tip and hesitantly made an appointment for two weeks out.I get in my car and I look at my nails and they look horrible the chrome nail is already chipped the nails with the glass rhinestones were lumpy. I went home and I said you know what I'm just gonna go to my nail shop tomorrow and have my nail lady do it but then I thought about it no I'm going to go back to them so that they can fix my nails because that's unacceptable so I text Valerie and I let Valerie know I sent her pictures. I called her she has the worst customer service ever. she kept throwing other nail shops under the bus she was arguing with me and I wasn't even arguing with her and that made me so mad and I'm just like I want a refund so she went on and on about how they don't give refunds so I said where does it say in the shop that you don't give refunds she said right next to our business license I said excuse me where is that it's right by the register she said I didn't see it so I said I need you to contact the owner and she's like I will send her an email usually takes her two days to reply no it didn't take me two days to get these horrible Nails I decided To give them a SECOND chance I get to the nail shop and I can tell Jasmine is a little irritated but I don't care I just paid you $84 well excuse me I pay $76 because they took some money off of my daughters pedicurebut that's still too much damn money. So as she's drilling my nails I noticed my pinky nail broke... and initially she fix one of my nails that were already broke. she built the nail. the nail didn't look anything like the rest of my nails my friends and coworkers were like what's up with that one nail? why does it stick straight up like that?so I let Valerie know that I want that nail off and I want a tip so anyway Jasmine is not even apologetic about me having to come back because the nails didn't look right they try to blame it on the gel she proceeds to tell me that she's going to have to charge me for the Pinky nail.. that is broke because Valerie didn't tell her about that but Valerie said we had a 72 hour warranty and it was 48 hours but She said "U got a fill I didn't do that nail so you have to pay for it. I got quiet thinking whatever just do my nails. so I'm done with the nail I'm not satisfied with the nails. So when we're done we get to the register and Jasmine's like you're all set and I'm like no where is my $14 refund then she tried to explain some bull crap that didn't make any sense at all. I had the text from valerie stating she would give me a refuNd. When she called Valerie she she tried explaining the same bull crap. So I came in a while ago for a full set and it took the nail tech 3hrs to finish my set which was just a gel polish nothing crazy! And the next day I wake up with 3 nails broken in half! WTH!!! I called they said they would fix them I come in and bring a friend and she got a full set and all her nails were lifting within 2 days!!! (She was very unhappy) Anyhow So they put a nail form and formed a nail instead of re doing a whole nail! So I didn't say nothing I let it be and about 2 days after about 5 nails were completely broken!!! I called and told them how unsatisfied I was with the set I got and how I had already came to get nails fixed and they said the girls hadn't been really trained with the product the salon was using but that they are getting trained and they offered me a free pedicure...WTH!!! Paid 50$ for my set and wasted gas twice to come here and you guys come up with this?!?!! Pfft!!! NEVER went back and do not plan on going back nor referring people to this place! read more
