Steven offered me another remake 3 weeks ago and I came in today to redeem it and steven was not there and the lady in the photo claimed to call the GM who told me they would not remake the order on the receipt. I've been coming to this location since it opened and I'm never disappointed with the food . Except yesterday when I went I noticed the inside dining area needs some TLC, the floors were extremely dirty. So much that when I walked my shoes were sticking to the floor. Under tables dirty , windows super grimy and the fountain drink area was gross. Kitchen should absolutely be cleaned. But also the dinning area. Manager needs to take a close look at this and attend to it. read more

One of my go to for "fast food" burger" Price point for their combo meals is legit! Food- Double burger with grilled onions. Lots of flavor and accompanied by fries. I decided to take my mom today, since she drove me to an appointment. I told her all about how P Terry started with just a small stand at the corner of Barton Springs and Lamar in Austin, and how it's grown into this large business in multiple cities. We walked in, and no one greeted us at first, although there was a woman working the grill who was also on the telephone and she smiled in our direction. A minute or so later, a man working the drive-thru said he'd be with us shortly, and then we waited another one or two minutes, after which the man at the drive-thru said he'd be with us shortly, again. I saw about four people working, at 5:15 PM on a Tuesday afternoon. They seemed pretty understaffed, especially given the nonstop drive-thru, and the people in the dining room. The man from the drive-thru came up to the front and took our order for us. And then it took probably 10 minutes for us to get our food, which seemed unusual. Last time I visited a P Terry's, our food was ready right after I finished washing my hands. Someone brought our food to our table, and then I went to get ketchup, but the pump was out. The worker offered us ketchup packets, but that seems better suited for people who are in the drive-thru lane. And environmentally speaking, I would prefer to use the pump. So I had to wait for him to refill it. After that, everything was fine. My mom enjoyed her food, although she did have to pick the pickles off. She commented about it, and I said, "well you did tell them you wanted everything on it." She said that she forgot. She's 78. She said she loved the fries. And she said that she was very full after her meal, which was a grilled chicken burger with a side of fries. There was a large puddle of water outside the washrooms, and they did have a wet floor sign covering it, but it was a pretty big puddle. It was there the entire time we were in the establishment. I'm honestly surprised they didn't have someone mop it up occasionally. Someone had already walked through it and tracked footprints across the restaurant even though there was a sign indicating the floor was wet. I was so glad to see P Terry's open up in north San Antonio. When the road construction gets finished, this will definitely be my location of choice. In the battle of fast food burgers, this is way better than the chain across the freeway (In and Out). In fact, in my opinion, the battle for best fast food burger is between these guys and another local competitor (Burger Boy). This location has seating inside vs some that are just drive through. The parking is fine, but the lot may be too small when everybody figures out this place is open. Due to its elevated location, you definitely have nice views. It overlooks both the nearby shopping area and some big neighborhoods. Last night, when we were ordering, it turned out that the guy taking our order was the manager in the New Braunfels store. We told him we liked his store a lot, but we did prefer this one's inside seating. Ordering was quick and easy. Food was prepared well, and it was delivered very fast. It's fresh, priced right and people are very friendly. The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie is not bad.

Every time we are here for dinner we always enjoy the hot fresh cheese burgers and fries. And our kids pick P. Terrys most of the time so we are here more than I care to admit. But if the burgers and fries are good I wanted to try the breakfast menu. The egg sandwiches did not disappoint. My egg and bacon sandwich was hot and delicious. My husband enjoyed his egg and sausage combo. And the kids were so quiet with their egg and cheese combos. Thumbs up from all around out table. And even at breakfast the music mix is on point. So much hype for such a big let down. Perhaps this is one of those nostalgic places that you would have had to share years of memories with to appreciate. Reminiscent of In and Out with a simple menu, serving counter, plastic seating, thin patty burgers with limited alternatives/add-on options, burger stacked with more lettuce than protein, American cheese and sub-average "secret sauce." This location, though new, was surprisingly dirty. Not a clean table in the entire establishment. Trash was filled or near filled to the brim and the small drink station was crammed and messy. Hopefully this isn't the typical P Terry experience, but for a first timer, I'm not sure I'll be back. Disappointing. read more

Read some good things from my Yelp Friends (shout out to Steve) so I thought we would give it a try. I had the cheese burger of course. Actually had the double. Glad I did. This is a pretty small burger, similar in size to the Cali place across the street. Bun was nice and fresh, angus beef is always a winner. That beats the Cali place hands down. About the fries. Very well done yet almost no crisp, not sure how they do that, they were passable. Oh and there were a lot of fries. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Only thing I wish they had was mustard. It was a very good burger but it would have been a great burger with mustard. No packets or squeeze bottle anywhere. No I didn't think to ask, most places have mustard. I also wish they had onion rings. We will return and maybe I'll sneak in my WB mustard. LOL read more

We've been here several times since it opened and I regret not providing previous feedback. The area has an abundance of fast food options, including ALL of the popular burger joints, but we quickly came to like P Terry's for the freshness, flavor, cleanliness and service, so we would drive a few extra miles and bear with nearby construction traffic just to go here. I don't know what happened to the P Terry's we knew, but the experience was not good at all. This would have been a 1-star review but, since our previous experiences were great, I'm averaging it out to a 3 just to be fair. We walked into a pretty empty restaurant- a father already dining with his two kids, another couple outside, and drive-thru was empty. We were able to go straight up to the counter where we stood, and stood, and stood some more while 5 employees were stood around chatting towards the prep and drive-thru area. Two of them looked our way at least twice, but no one even greeted us or said they'd be with us shortly, nothing. After a few minutes, we were about to walk out but a young man appeared from elsewhere in back and came to take our orders. We each had a #3 combo, one with an added patty to make it a triple. We grabbed our drinks, grabbed a table, sat down and waited, and waited... again, it wasn't busy but it was taking longer than it ever had before. Finally we collected our tray of food. The #3 triple was unwrapped to reveal a fresh and visibly steaming hot burger with melty cheese. That was it. That was the one and only hot thing that came out. The second burger order was barely warm, and both orders of fries were outright cold. Surely of all those people standing around back there, someone had to know the food was neither hot nor fresh, yet they pushed it out anyway. Did they think this would be enjoyable? Acceptable? Would they want to eat barely warm burgers and cold fries? What had once elevated them quickly knocked them down. We would go back again in case it was a one-off since other visits were good, but if it happens again we'll just spend our time and money at the other umpteen nearby burger places. read more

Perfect spot for a quick lunch. I was able to drive over to the store get my food and back to my office within 20 minutes. Burger was cheesy n juicy. The banana bread I've ordered a few times at various locations. I think its the one weak point the restaurant has. Barely any flavor if banana. Suggestions- Update the banana bread and cookies. P Terry's in Stone Oak!!!! Yay!!! If you like in n out & whataburger, you will LOVE P Terry's! The burgers are smaller like in n out so if you are starving get two or get double meat. All the toppings are super fresh! No microwaves, freezers, or heat lamps here! Their French fries are cut in house and they are so delicious. Milkshakes are super yum, too!
