I didn't get any of the bamboo shoots in the sandwich or maybe they were chopped really small? The char siu was decent, not super tender and not the typical char siu flavor but it wasn't bad. The meat lovers sandwich had a noticeable sweet flavor I'm assuming from the spaghetti sauce but it really lacked depth. It honestly reminded me of canned spaghetti and a sloppy joe. It also seemed like there was no ranch dressing even though it's part of the sandwiches name. I appreciate the creativity and whimsy they've put into their menu. I just don't think the execution and flavor profiles are where they should be.

I came here seeking a quiet spot to study, and I must say the ambiance suited my needs, plus the availability of tea was a nice touch. However, I was disappointed by the lack of warning during closing time. Suddenly being told 'we are closed' disrupted my workflow, especially when I was in the midst of an important meeting preparation. It would have been considerate to allow at least a five-minute grace period to gather my belongings or finalize urgent tasks like sending an email. The abruptness of the request to leave, especially considering the chilly weather outside, was quite unsettling. The patio might be open, but it's evident why no one is out there. Such incidents tarnish the customer experience significantly. Other establishments often provide a ten-minute heads-up or allow patrons to finish their beverages before closing. This lack of basic courtesy reflects poorly on the service standards here. I doubt there would have been time for a quick visit to the bathroom either. Hopefully, the management addresses these issues promptly, or else I'll have to reconsider returning. read more

I wish there was a button for 1MILLION STARS!!!! Believe the hype about this place! It's real! The location is right on Main Street behind another one of my favorites Dedricks Cheese. You walk down an outdoor hall and it opens up to the wonderful open patio area with music playing and a fountain. Walking into the place, you get the feel of old world coffee shop. Nothing corporate about it. The decor and the vibe was REAL. The workers (9/16/22) were absolutely incredible. There was this white guy and an Asian guy. I swear they made me feel like I've been here a thousand times. So helpful and informative and just good people. I kept it simple and got a mocha. WOW. This is the best mocha I've ever had. The chocolate was rich. The viscosity was a little thicker than your everyday corporate place. The taste was outta this world. I get it, it's a coffee shop but I'm making it sound like a Magical Experience....because it was. Definitely check out this cafe! I go all the time with whatever daughter is in town! We always go for the delicious lavender lattes! They are the best ones I can find! When I want some food to go along with my latte I will get the Americana! Fresh great tasting food and amazing service. The staff is always so nice and welcoming!
