Great service from Mao great price I would recommend to anybody getting there alignment

I came to Pacific Alignment a little after 5pm, when they closed, and they were still willing to work on my car. The steering belt needed to be replaced badly. Dropped by on a Saturday afternoon after I got cut off and hit a curb earlier in the week. The gentleman in the bay said he did have an appointment coming but since they weren't there yet he could do a quick check on the alignment for me. My dad was worried anywhere I went would try to sell me something after I said I hit a curb, but the first thing this guy said was, "oh no, was everyone ok?" He drove the car around the block and put it up on the lift to check the alignment, gave me the print out and recommended no alignment at this time, and to save my money. He didn't charge me, and it all took about 20 minutes (the dealership wouldn't even see me for 2 days and I'm sure I'd wait 2 hours there). The tires on my 2005 Dodge Ram was wearing unevenly on the inside so I took it in Pacific Alignment to get a 2nd opinion because Les Schwab on Hammer they told me they could not align it because I had some bad parts and it would cost me $386 to fix before the can do the alignment. I did not tell PA that I was taking it for another opinion I wanted to see what they find. First of all when I made my appointment over the phone with the owner Mao, he was very courteous and professional, told me how much their alignment is for both front and back. Then asked why I am taking it in for an alignment. Something I did not get from LS. Duke writes a very bad review on an "Indian Guy" at this shop that is 100% wrong so do not even pay attention to what he writes. All the other reviews for this shop are 4-5 stars and spot on. Nish the "Indian Guy" worked on my truck was awesome from the time he took it in and knows his shit. When my truck was on the lift he explained everything he did in a way that anyone could understand even if you didn't know anything about cars or alignment. He even showed me before and after pictures of my trucks alignment. I thought Nish is very honest and through told me that my truck would not align correctly but will dial it in as best as possible but I will still have some uneven wearing because my truck is lowered. This is when I told them of LS' findings, Nish visually showed me the parts in questions and said that its normal wear and tear for my truck and he didn't recommend replacing them right now. Nish goes the extra mile to explain and gives advice on what I can do to get the most out of my tires. He could have easily aligned my truck and then send me on my way but he told me to drive it around for a few days and bring it back so he can realign it again at no charge because it was part of their warranty. I am not sure if I would get this same great customer service at other shops. This shop builds race cars so you can tell just by talking to Nish that attention to detail is very important to him and this shop. I recommend this shop to everyone. read more

After reading reviews on yelp, my husband advised me to take my car here and have my tires aligned. The shop is to the right of Canepa's Car Wash on Pacific Avenue. I stopped in unannounced and the owner (I'm assuming) stopped what he was doing to assist me. He advised me that due to the make and model of my car ('05 Toyota Camry) I may need a camber kit which would cost $150, whereas a standard alignment would cost $65. He had appointments later that day, however I was unable to make them, so we scheduled an appointment bright and early (ok 9 am) a couple days out. I arrived at 9 am and the owner (again an assumption) was there and ready to work. He walked me over to the waiting area; however there was an inspection going on, so he had me sit in the garage while he checked my alignment. He pulled a chair over for me and apologized for the waiting area not being open. This was no big deal for me as the gentleman was very polite and personable. He checked my alignment and showed me the results on the computer screen. He recommended a basic alignment at this time. He told me to return to his shop, after I have my tires rotated, and he would recheck the alignment (at no additional charge) to make sure nothing had changed. The alignment came with a 180 day warranty. I was in and out of the shop in 30 minutes. read more

Mao did a great job on my truck. He installed a 2.5" lift kit (that I brought to him) on the front of my F150 and aligned it while I waited. It took a couple hours, as he stated on the phone and kept his word on the quoted price. He even explained to me what the numbers meant on the alignment readout, where they should be and what to look out for if anything feels funny. Told me to bring it back if there's any issues and he'll take care of it. He's a good guy to boot and does other automotive type repairs and fixes. Just call him and find out. I'll certainly bring my cars here again and refer anyone I know in the area to see him. read more

I heard about Pacific Alignment through someone I know and was told they do great work. I made an appointment with them and had them install aftermarket springs on my BMW. I was extremely impressed with their work, they take pride in what they do and are extremely good at it. They finished my springs in over an hour under the book time and that's including the wheel alignment afterwards. I highly recommend trying this place out if you haven't, you won't be disappointed with their work. read more

Needed a frontend alignment on an older vehicle, 40+ years, called and made an appointment for later the same day. When I arrived they were ready and took the car right in. They were very thorough and knowledgeable as well as explaining the various adjustments that they were making. The quality of the work was great and the price very fair. read more

I have taken my cars here for a bunch of different reasons. Their alignment equipment is fantastic and they work pretty fast. I lowered my car and they got it realigned and installed a camber kit so I would get even tire wear still. Prices are very reasonable. I trust them with all my car needs when I don't have the tools to do it myself. read more

I brought my car to this shop because of the reviews and I thought they specialized in lower car. But after it was all said and done, I'm kind of disappointed. My car have very bad camber from being drop so low. I brought both front and back camber kits for it, so I knew that for a fact you can adjust the camber into the right or almost the right specs. But the guy told me because the car is lower there no way to get it in the right specs. So I was like, "okay whatever." So I continue to watch how he adjust the camber but what he don't know is that the rear kit came with a adjusting screw that allow it to pivot the toe in and out but he did not touch it at all and so he couldn't get it into the right specs. The reason why I know this is because I had another shop did the same thing until I told him about that screw and he was able to get the back tire more positive camber but he was irritated because I telling him on what to do, so I decided to be quiet this time. So then he moved to the front camber kits. As he jack the car up, he told me the front camber is maxed out just by looking at the camber kit. But I know for a fact it wasn't, because I install the camber kit myself and I eye balled the front camber and I know there still room for adjustment. But he didn't attempt to adjust the front because he couldn't get the tool to loosen the nut for the camber kit. When it all say and done my car still got negative camber and I probably look else where for a shop who can do lower car. read more
